I absolutely love Galactic tan. The owner is amazing and so nice. It is very clean, and smells nice inside. You can see that you have gotten color after just one visit. I also like being able to listen to music that they provide with headphones for you. Oh and I love not only the tanning lotion you can buy, but the cute complementary, heart, bunny or dolphin stickers you put on to see how much color your our getting each time. Not only that,but it is reasonably priced.

Ive been going to Galactic Tan for almost 15 years now and this review is Long-overdue. Owners are very kind and professional. Theyre establishment is always immaculate and equipment works better than any other tanning salon Ive visited. Thank you for providing such a great service for the lowest prices around.

Incredible service, tan styles to fit your needs, staff is beyond helpful & kind. If there is a better buy or price they always tell you & let you know specials upcoming if you want to wait. My MS symptoms dont exacerbate when I go there, I just feel almost healed.

I normally never write a negative review or take time to do this, but I felt like I really needed to. I have wasted too much time and gas going to this location, only to find them closed. Today in particular, I had an appointment scheduled at 12:30. I left my home and shortly found out that much of New Smyrna was traffic jammed because of a lot of festivals going on. I called at 12:30 to tell the owner I would be a couple minutes late. The guy never answered, mind you, the store does not close til 1 pm on Saturdays. I drove there anyways, hoping to catch him because I really wanted to tan since he would be out for a couple days. I got there at 12:40, still 20 minutes before they closed and he looked at me and said Oh, sorry, were done and closed. Knowing I had an appointment, knowing he had ignored my phone call, and he knew I drove all the way out there. This isnt the first time this has happened. Ive even drove out there up to 45 minutes before they closed and he still shut down early. I dont really understand how someone has listed certain business hours but shuts down early whenever they choose -- thats not fair to other customers who are scheduling their days around their opening hours. I noticed in a previous review, this also happened to someone else. It has been very frustrating. I have been very nice to the gentleman who owns it though. I honestly do not wish anything bad on this individual, I just hope he sees how this is affecting others and I hope he can change his business practices.

Ive been going to this salon on and off for many years. Ive never had any kind of problem. Theyve always been so good to me and my friends who tan here. I love this place and the guys working here. I would definatly recommend this place to anyone looking to tan and/ or buy products!

Great place to tan! Its clean, the staff is excellent! I get amazing color. My only complaint would be the hours, but thats just bc the hours of operation are the same as what I work.

Ive been tanning here since I was in high school and they had the Flagler location. I love this place. Its always clean and they have the best lotions on the market! Best tanning in Volusia County for sure!

Ok. To MJP. Our hours are clearly stated on the front door. We are closed everyday from 1-230 for lunch. Sorry if you have a reading problem. Also you used 5 out of your 6 tans so saying you were not able to tan because we were closed all the time is BS.

To Kevin K. We have been in business for almost 20 years. Obviously we are doing something right and many people enjoy our salon. Our prices went up 3 weeks ago. We havent had a price adjustment since 2011. As for outlandish prices. NO. Look into prices in Port Orange and Daytona and NOW we are comparable to the otjet salons in Volusia. Tanning is a luxury and a very expensive business to maintain. So you are not going to be able to tan for $5. As for being rude to everyone that walks in the door. U know nothing. You were here 1x. Your wife has been here 4x and I am always polite. Ypu dont sit in my lobby all day and see how we operate so your babble means nothing.
