I recently did hair coloring and cut . I don’t felt it has Aveda standards .. stylist was lazy to partition hair to color , straighten after hair cut. Ultimately I paid for full services and after coming I can see lot of gray hair. Not satisfied at all .

Customer service experience was HORRIBLE on a few occasions. I will never spend money there again. HORRIBLE!Two in person and one over the phone bad experiences is too much for me. I have a absolutely no interest in returning and will not be calling to explaining what went wrong. I will say your business is supposed to make people feel good- might just want to work on the basics! People never forget how you made them feel.

Always a good experience. I do however miss the massages since covid. Im hoping they will be reinstated as the aromatherapy prior was a great way to get relaxed before the service started.

Had an initial bad experience with a mix up in booking but Ryan followed up with me and explained the error. Will give them a try.

I called to make an appointment as I am new to the area. I have read the great reviews and was excited to Try out this salon. When the lady answered the phone she was super sweet until the phone got disconnected. When I called back, I am pretty sure it was the same woman answered the phone and seemed very irritated that our call had been disconnected. After I apologized for the disconnect, even though it wasn’t “my fault” it seemed to irritate her more. I was so discouraged when the same woman, I wish I had asked her name, had changed her tone during our second phone call. Maybe it was because I was asking too many questions or maybe she was busy and didn’t have time to really talk to me. I ended up telling her I had to check my schedule and call the salon back, nothing seemed to match with my schedule. Is this the type of customer service your salon gives? For someone who is new to the area this was very disheartening. I will try your other Eden Prairie location, hopefully they are nicer.

First time going here. Customer service was perfect but service done was horrible. I went in and gave the stylist an idea if what i wanted...as she continued cutting my hair i kept telling her this is what i want, she told me we would try as shes running out of time, at that time i was just ready to get up and get off the chair. No matter what i told her or picture i showed nothing worked. I left the salon unsatisfied. I now have to pay to get everything corrected after paying almost $80. Just very disappointed. Would never go back or recommend.

Service is excellent here. When you walk in, youre immediately offered a nice cold beverage such as beer, water, soda, etc. The decor is hip and trendy as any salon should be nowadays. Space is nice with lots of sofas to lounge on while you wait for your turn.

I got lash extensions for the first time. Macy did an excellent job. I was secretly scared they would look too dramatic and over the top. I didn’t need to worry. Macy was so professional and exact. My lashes look natural and chic with a slight touch of glam. Thrilled and delighted.

We would like to get some sort of refund on the false advertisement. The description for the Together Massage needs to state that it is two separate prices for each individual. The description is misleading, causing you to think its for one price. Even though there is a + sign at the end of each price, you do not expect it to be $75 more than highest listing price of $110. It is confusing, especially for people getting their first massage.I called the salon and spoke to Lorie about my conflict with their pricing and massage description for the massage my boyfriend and I both got. She said she is not able to refund anything and would have Ryan her general manager call me. I got a voicemail from him and called him back a couple days later. He said he does not agree that their description is misleading and told me he will not be refunding me anything. I told him I am not looking for a full refund. He said he will not refund anything at all. I told him I will have to inform the BBB about this. He said okay and hung up immediately.

I’ve been a client of Tom Pepins for longer than I can remember. He is a cut and color guru! The cuts and styling advice he gives me totally hides the fact that I have baby fine hair. I’m constantly complimented on my cut and color, even by total strangers! I highly recommend him and the salon. Front desk crew is always so welcoming too.

Tom is a hair genius! He hides the gray in my brunette hair while keeping a depth and range of tones that is super natural looking and just right for my skin color and the season. He took my daughter’s brown/black hair to nearly platinum blonde (and then some fun colors later too) while keeping the hair healthy - amazing! His cuts are always perfect too, and he is a great guy. It is just fun to hang out in his chair and chat while he makes you look fabulous.

I have been coming here for over 2 years now, when i needed to step up my color, as i was mostly white/gray and was looking for someone to help me try something new and different. Natalie won me over when she suggested a pastel (which i had secretly been considering but was a little afraid). We went with pale purple, and over the past two years made it more dramatic. I used to enjoy coming here to relax and get a great hair service. It seems to have gone way down hill lately. Can’t seem to keep many stylists, makes me wonder how the employees are treated which is unfortunate. I want to find a stylist to dye my hair but have been let down one too many times for the prices they charge which seem to go up every 5 months maybe.

Very impressed and I’m hard to impress. Tom was (is) so talented! I came to my appointment with purplish rose gold hair. I wanted to get back to my “normal” color (dark blonde with highlights). I knew this would be difficult to pull off in one session. Tom was so thorough, understanding, patient, extremely knowledgeable and super fun to hang out with for six hours. I had complete confidence that he would accomplish what he could without frying my hair. He was able to pull out ALL of the purple/pink color without using bleach. He then colored my hair exactly how I wanted. He also did a fabulous job with my haircut. My hair felt so healthy and this was unbelievable after all the processing my hair went through. I had this same thing done a few months ago at another salon and they used bleach, didn’t get all of the color out, and fried my hair. I can’t say enough good things about my entire experience at this salon!

I recently relocated to Saint Louis Park (my home town) after 27 years away. I had the same stylist in Portland for over 20 years. 20 YEARS PEOPLE! Over the years he had figured out how to tame my very thick hair with mixed textures. Curly underneath, straight on top. The perfect ingredients for triangle head. Ugh.I had heard about Tom Pepin from friends and family members and how AMAZING he is with color. I was psyched to find someone who was great with color, and having grown up in Minneapolis, the fact he was at an Aveda salon was a huge plus. But the true test - could this man handle cutting and styling this crazy head of hair?I’m happy to say he can! Not only do I absolutely love the color, (I’d never done an ash gloss over blonde highlights before and I love it!) but Tom figured out a way to add layers so the straight hair on top blends in more with the curls underneath giving me freedom from the blow dryer and flat iron this summer!If you are looking for a new stylist, check out Tom at Sanctuary. I have been coming here for over ten years! The stylists are awesome and very good at what they do. If you are familiar with Aveda, its a little more expensive however, you definitely get more than what you pay for here!

His neck and scalp massage pre-haircut is so relaxing; I love it.I also treated my niece to a college graduation gift of a cut and color with Tom. He took such good care of her and she loved her new look. He teaches color on behalf of Aveda so you know he knows his stuff!

Tried to make several appointments and just wasn’t possible. Then when they found a time available, we scheduled the appointment and after 4 phone calls the appointment ended up getting cancelled. Today we made an appointment for 4:45 pm, we arrived and they told us the appointment was at 4:15 pm. Clearly they have a problem with management. Will not be coming back. I wouldn’t recommend this location.

Today I came here to this location to do fulll foil with the price of $130 . I sat down with my hair stylist and asked to do exactly wat I want which is : I don’t want any hair left without color and I want it to be black mix with highlights so anyway she started working on my hair on back she put 3 foils and start talking about the price that the cost is not $130 I they said si gonna be $150 plus bc I’m not leaving hair between foils is gonna cost me more a $ 100 so the total is $235. I told her no so the manager came her name Chelsea, she was so loud talking to me in from of other guest very rude , i said to her that wat I was told $130 she replied my over the phone I misunderstood , I said no I got the price here in store not over the phone plus she was the one I spoke to. So, I asked her to give me discount bc I’m new customer at least, she replied with Rudeness “ NO No” loudly. So I asked her no I can’t afford that much today I planned on less then $200 ... she went ahead and ordered the hair Stylist to wash my hair not my all hair just the back one the three foils.To me It’s not bout money it’s more about kindness and service matters to me a lot .I have been coloring my hair for 20 years never had this such experience.I’m very disappointed with her attitudeNote: she’s very RacistAt end when I was leaving I asked why she was rude to me speaking so loud in front of guest her reply was “ oooh Really with rudeness” no no apologies at all... she kept talking while I was walking to the door stated this not a place for me....
