My sister had an MRI two weeks ago after she was in a bike accident and the day of the MRI they told her if she has not heard back with results within 2 weeks, she should call. Then they told her they would send a letter. She has heard nothing! Is this common practice? 2 weeks for results on an MRI???? What a joke! I will never refer anyone I know to Marshfield clinic. You call that shining?????
This review is for the Labor and Delivery part of the hospital. I would like to thank all the staff who helped me deliver my little girl the other day. I had the best staff I could have ever asked for. They took care of me and made sure I was comfortable. I would like to give a special shout-out to my nurses Kelly and Kylie. We loved them both and Kelly made me feel so confident during delivery (she was so amazing). Kylie always made us laugh with random jokes. To my midwife Kim and student midwife Kayla, thank you as well for making sure I was taken care of during and after delivery. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and dare I say I can’t wait to do it again! I would recommend them to anyone especially for labor and delivery here.
I love this place. The pharmacy is quick, accurate, and helpful. All of the people and staff are genuinely kind and respectful. They work hard! And the campus is immaculately tidy and clean.
Out of my prescription! Called to get it refilled, nurse says well call you back tomorrow! I have an info sheet from my pharmacist that says; Do not stop taking this drug all of a sudden without calling your doctor. You may have a greater risk of side effects. All I wanted was 1 minute of their time to talk to my Doctor & make a phone call to my pharmacist.
Needed medication refilled by a specialist. I hadnt seen them in a year. I was told I have to see my primary Dr. and get a new referral and an appointment to get it filled. So I have to pay for 2 office visits to get my needs met. Shameful greed! What ever happened to the family Dr that could do it all? PS: I couldnt post 0 stars.
Good clinic, most staff is friendly and happy to help. Enjoy and appreciate most the doctors my family has. The facility appears clean and neat at all times.

Lab great, 1st check in fine, lab great, second check in didnt go thru as I waited & waited forever when I was to see Jalil early. Finally the receptionist upstairs came out as the waiting room had been cleared twice or more & said did u check in downstairs I said yes, well lets just double check it she replied. Long story short it didnt go thru or something so she checked me in & called the nurse right away ect. so that wasnt too great but got the pre-op done by awesome Dr. Jalil. Outstanding physician extremely thural & knowledgeable. His rapor with patients is professional & on a level one can understand him and feel like he is caring and concerned that you understand & feel comfortable with his plan of action without questions when you leave. Want his nurse Jane back she was so awesome too, they were an unbeatable team & Diane is very good too but the one now lacks in common sense often. I get frustrated with her often try to be patient but it isnt easy at times. Cheryl that works with Dr. Ramone is another awesome one to work with if you call & ask for something to be done its done it the Dr. Holds it up & its done right. I addressed a couple things with Jalils N.A. that she couldnt seem to take care of properly when requested over the phone so well see if it helps the next time.

Good people, parking is a problem when you dont feel good and the weather is bad. A lot of walking inside also. Some issues with coordinating visits to different departments. Well trained and caring staff in most areas.
Marshfield Clinic, Been going to this Clinic for 15 years. I recommend this place for Doctors pharmacy, lab and ultra sounds pain clinic and nice lil Coffee shop. This year I was able too use the new urgent Care that is now located right there at the new Marshfield Hospital. A big waiting area with tv.
My experience has, for the most part, been okay. Staff are generally helpful, though not always friendly or sympathetic, but given the fast-paced work environment, perhaps thats expected.
First time here was very impressive and my numerology department was fabulous job I recommend this clinic

Had an appointment with Dr Scherr in dermatology and he seemed very rushed but he definitely explained everything the best he could. He had a resident doctor with him and I cannot remember his name but he was absolutely phenomenal!!! Very detailed with his explanation of my diagnosis and what the treatment entailed. Would be 5 star rating except for the half hour wait past my appointment time but that cant be helped
Went in for my 2nd colonoscopy and was turned out (cancelled appointment) because I didnt have anyone to sit with me at the appointment. I had someone waiting at home for me. I used medical ride to and from appointment. I had appointment approval before date of appointment. Bruce called me a liver and was rude to me.and turned me out of clinic without make sure I had a ride home. Real non professional .
I got lost by the front lady giving me the wrong directions but I asked a person that works there and he walked me all the way to the other side and took me through employee only doors to get me there quicker. I wish I could remember his name but that was really nice of him.
Dr gave me a mixture of medications that caused me seizures
Type 1 diabetic who had a migraine for 3 days elevelated heart rate and BP severe kidney pain. They gave me a shot of toradol and the only thing it did was make my arm hurt give me a stomach ache and thats it. Gave me 0 insight as to what is causing the issue and did not treat my pain or symptoms. Absolutely amazing lack of care, almost seems like an insurance fraud racket.

Watched my fiance be seen at urgent care for them to make another appointment to schedule surgery for the next day. Then at 3pm on the day before surgery called and said we need a downpayment of 5000 before the surgery. At this point hes already out of work for a week now. This is not an elective procedure!! He cant work or drive! This is an emergency surgery. What kinda privatized dystopian hospital does this.
Losing many drs now because of covid.... switching to Prevea after 25+ years of Marshfield being our choice

Lots of doctors, some are good at what they do and others, not so good.
45 min wait for the first call (9:00 am) and finally got an answer from them... explain my situation they say they will relay the message to the doctor. Wait until 3:39pm still no call, so i called again and wait 1 hour and the doctor wont answer but the other did... Very disappointed... Urine is so painful ao i starve myself all day since i dont want to urine. the pain level is a 9-10 out of 10.

I go here for several reasons, but that is too personal for this purpose. The staff and Doctors here are helpful, kind and truly care about patients. The Doctors I see here do not make me feel like another number for the day, like a person that is listened to and cared about. The only drawback is there should be more handicap accessible parking spaces in the closer parking spaces. During busy times this is an issue. Otherwise I like the care here, of course as with any medical facility opinions will vary. This is just my honest opinion of them.
Had a va community care appointment and with them and they still tried charging me. Even though they have an agreement with the va not allowing them to charge veterans using the community. Very disappointed and lot of my personal time spent wasted on the phone for their own mistake.

Horrible doctors!! You are just another number not a person. They are focused on making money, not patient centered!! Doctors have misdiagnosed me here and argued with me about my symptoms. Incorrectly documented my visits. Spent a year seeing doctors here and will never go back!!

Had to pick up my glasses. They were perfect.
Most recent interaction with Marshfield began as an er visit for vomiting, headache, belly pain, fever in a 4yr old. Followed by a follow-up with a pediatrician. Followed by an ultrasound. Spoke with 2 different drs via phone relaying results. Phone calls received from nurses from peds checking in. Followed by another er visit. To come is another follow-up appointment with peds. All in all, after 3 days and 4 visits I am very disappointed in the lack of communication. I am disappointed with the fact that multiple people told me different things. Nobody seemed to be on the same page. It was confusing and emotional. I COMPLETELY understand results take time. I completely understand not every diagnosis is text book. What I don’t understand is why the push for another covid test without any of the symptoms. I don’t understand why the hesitation on testing for other things while waiting when the symptoms matched them. I don’t understand why one dr seemed very concerned and another seemed to brush off said concerning symptoms. It’s very frustrating and disheartening. I, myself have dr’d at Marshfield since adolescence. I have taken all 3 children to Marshfield for all their needs. I am sad to say I will be switching. I know it may seem hasty for just one bad experience but I have lost confidence that had it been more serious than a bacteria infection the lack of communication would cause it to be overlooked.
I took my Dad to see his Doctor. The greeters at the door, the person we checked in with, the nurse & Doctor were excellent.
We had to get stitches removed for my son when driving from Chicago to Minnesota. I could have not been happier. Everyone was super nice and professional, from the front desk receptionist, nurse, to the doctor. We came on Saturday about 1 hr before they closed. We were in and out within 20 minutes. Great place. I would highly recommend it!

They had me wait 2 HOURS in the doctors room. When I finally walked out to find a nurse it took me 30 minutes and I found the doctor eating a sandwich before any nurse. When I FINALLY found a nurse they had no idea I was here! They legitimately forgot about me and had me waiting in pain for HOURS. I only came here because my primary doctor told me they could help me better. Im fed up.
Extremely long waiting time on hold to get through to get an appointment. Chippewa Clinic is much faster. It would be REALLY nice if they would can that horrible one hit wonder song they play over and over and over and over, each and every single time youre put on hold. Silence is golden.

This place is a joke you go in there to get help and they tell you yes there is inflammation in my wrist and we can give you a cortisone shot is all. Well that aint gonna last long. All I needed was a more help to get me home to get my MRI, but DrAkins refused to do anything to help with the pain he said unless its fractured I cant do anything waste of time and probably gonna bill the hell outta my insurance. I will NEVER BE BACK

While in the hospital. I was getting my blood drawn and the lady who was doing it was very rude. I told her not to go to hands because my vains are very small in there. So she went up more on my left arm and she stuck me without saying she was. When she stuck me with that needle it hurt so bad that it made me jump. She got mad at me because i moved well what i supposed to do not move when she poke that needle hard into my arm. I asked for her name and her directors name because i wanted to make a formal complaint but she never did. She never introduced her when she came in the room either. I had the most aweful time with thus lady more than anyone else in this hospital.

My review is for the midwives in Marshfield Clinic. The clinic itself is clean and friendly from my experience and the birth classes offered are great. My experience with the midwives on the other hand was quite terrible to put it honestly. I came in with a clear birth plan and a list of questions to make sure we would be a good fit for each other. I wanted to have a fully natural, unmedicated water birth if everything went well. Everything went okay during the appointments and they agreed with my birth plan and answered the questions reassuringly. I had transferred over from another state and had asked them to look over my file and confirm my due date since it had been changed 3 different times. The midwife told me she didnt need to because it said the due date on the sheet of paper in front of her. I explained that the due date printed on that form was just the latest one they had given me, but Id really like to know how that was decided on since I wanted a water birth and if youre 42 weeks or over, you no longer have that option and having the wrong due date could really hurt those chances for me. She refused to look into it for me. On what they thought was about my week 40 appt they checked my amniotic fluid and found that it was low, so the midwife told me I needed to go to the hospital immediately and be induced. When I said I wanted to go home and eat and drink some water since I had slept through my alarms and rushed over and wanted to think about it, the miwdwife began to cry and asked me if I would be okay living the rest of my life knowing I killed my baby since that could happen if I didnt get induced immediately. I still did not feel right about it so I went home to gather my thoughts. I was called multiple times during the day being asked when I was coming in to be induced, which I responded that I had a gut feeling that I did not need to do that. The next day I woke up to more phone calls. Feeling so pressured and not wanting to be responsible for my babys death I went in that evening and got induced. The midwife told me she knew I didnt want to be there, but she didnt want to be there either because her family was doing something together, I felt like such an inconvenience. The induction kicked in right away and I was up through the night with contractions. The midwife had left so the nurse came and removed the Cervidil since it was over stressing my baby. All contractions stopped and the next midwife arrived late the next morning. She told me the next plan of action was going to be Pitocin and a possible C-Section. I asked her if I could please leave because I could tell this was not right and my baby and my body were healthy and not ready to give birth yet. She told me no and that she would not discharge me so my insurance would not cover any of my stay. She began to cry again telling me again that my babys death would be my responsibility. My mom then got my doula on the phone and put her on speaker phone. She asked the midwife if she had retested my amniotic fluid since being admitted in since I had told the midwife and my doula that I had not drank or eaten anything the morning of the testing due to being so rushed. That was obviously my fault. The midwife was hesitant but said she would ask for a retest. An hour later I was retested and my fluids could not have been healthier. I then asked the midwife if I could go home and she said yes. I asked her what her plan of action would be if I stayed now that my fluids were great and she said that she really had no plan then if I stayed and once again mentioned Pitocin and a C-section in passing. I asked to be discharged which she then agreed to.The next day I transferred to Teri Gjerseth at Sacred Heart Hospital with Oakleaf. She looked at my due date and figured out the one 2 weeks later was in fact the correct one so I was only 38 weeks when induced. I went on to go into labor naturally about 2 weeks later and had the fully unmedicated, natural, beautiful water birth of my dreams. I now have a gorgeous and healthy baby and great post birth care.

It offers so many Medical Services, the people are all friendly oh, and even when theyre extremely busy you can still walk in and wait and get in to see a doctor. The service is excellent.
