I had a very good experience at Palmer Eye Associates. I had to schedule my appointment a while in advance, but I was able to do it completely online, which I liked. They make it very clear what information they need; its the same info you would fill out on the clipboard you usually get when going to a doctor/optometrist/dentist for the first time, like your insurance info. I went in on Monday the 24th. Dr. Pelosi was friendly whilst she examined my eyes and answered all of my questions. I picked out the frames I liked, and Dean took care of those and processing my visit payment. He said my glasses would be ready by Thursday, but the next afternoon I got an email saying they were ready for pickup. I made sure to note when Dean said they only give notifications through email and text message, not phone calls.I stopped by the office and only waited a few minutes to get my new glasses. Dean said to come back any time if they needed adjustment or anything else. He was kind enough to adjust them once for me there at the office before I took them home. They fit very nice and my eyes feel better. They seemed to run the office very well for the amount of patients they had at the time I was there, and I was okay with waiting my turn. The front area was also very nicely decorated and clean. If I need anything else in the future regarding my vision, I will definitely go back to Palmer Eye Associates.

Dean and Gail have helped me for well over 15 years. They have always been informative, compassionate, and timely whenever I had inquiries or concerns. This is the only professional who I didn’t change when I moved to another city. I will continue referring friends/family to Palmer Optical and commute from wherever I am to receive such amazing service and products!

I had been going here for a few years....... Something told me to get a second opinion elsewhere..... Im glad I did.At the new eye doctor Im going to, Im getting baseline tests done in a few weeks......and there is a chance I may have the early stages of glaucoma. These baseline tests should have been performed by Dr. Pelosi, not overlooked!!Im glad I changed eye doctors!

Im writing this review to prevent patients from making the same mistake I did by coming to this office. Ive been with this office a couple of years and never would I have thought Id be treated the way I was treated. Long story short, this office NEVER answers their phone. And if you leave a message, Dean the receptionist will only call you back about making an appointment. I had to go to the office on my lunch break just to get in touch with someone. And when I did I just asked why I havent heard from anyone and Dean just stared at me and said he needs to check with the doctor about giving me another trial contacts to hold me over before my appt next week. Completely dismissing everything I said to him. Including me asking why no one has gotten back to me. I told him if someone can please communicate with me and give me a call back, and Dr. Pelosi eventually called me back that day... and needless to say, this doctor was SO RUDE and unprofessional I hardly had room to talk, I even briefly put her on speaker so the other girls and the doctors in the office where I work could hear how she was talking to me, everyone was appalled. She blamed me for not updating my glasses when I was supposed to, and refused to give me another pair before my appt because she already gave me a pair even though they ripped and regardless of how my glasses dont fit right. I work in a doctors office myself and I have NEVER experienced something like this nor would I ever treat a patient this way. This was so shocking to me because the other appointments I had with them I never had a problem. Clearly they mask their personalities well when it comes to patients unless you happen to be inconvenient to them which they will then treat you like dirt. With myself also working in a doctors office, its offices like Dr. Pelosis that make you realize just how important customer service is. If you dont know how to treat people then you should not be in healthcare.

I went for my annual eye exam with Dr.Pelosi today. When I arrived I said good morning. Dean said nothing , ok I gave him the benefit of the doubt he was taken care of business on the computer once he was done nothing.Dr. Pelosi perform my exam, after my exam I proceeded to the next room to pick out my glasses. I said to Dean Ill wait until your done usually you assist me with picking out my glasses. I waited literally about 20 mins. So I decided to leave. I said Dean I decided to wait on glasses. He then in turn provided me with my co payment amount; while paying my co payment I stated; I did not feel the warmth from them I usually do. He asked what did I say I repeated myself again I did not feel the warmth I usually do & I understand youre business but I didnt feel the warm. Mind you I was the only person at the time in the office. He totally dismissed what I said and stated here is your credit card back. Wow ... I was floored; you must understand my family and I have been loyal customers to this establishment for years I was really taken back and upset. No I would not recommend any of my friends or family members to this establishment.

Clearly damaged a pair of glasses and then denied responsibility. Was shockingly rude to both myself and my girlfriend. Response from owner is incorrect, I am certain this is the right location.
