This maybe a bit lengthy as this rating is personal:What I wish I knew then (If you have young children, my son was one month away from turning 3, I would urge you to really ask questions and consider your circumstances. As I thought I had)…PROS: Camp activities correlate with the categorized age groups and the staff (majority are parents of enrolled campers- Family and family affiliates of the business) have a super-friendly demeanor and are very welcoming. One Lead Counselor, Donna was an absolute doll and my son really gravitated to her. I can tell he trusted her and depended on her based on the information provided by the division supervisor.CONS: Certain Staff and mostly Camp counselors (older campers who have grown up in the program) struggle to uphold versatile dispositions when dealing with diversity. As a result, I saw first-hand how this affected the camps suitability to accommodate my child. To ALL Parents: As a parent, If you have a hyper-active child and are able to provide additional support for him/her by having a chaperone present to assist him/her (which is allowed) in the program then, it is safe to consider, if affordable.BACKSTORY: Both a family friend and I enrolled our children (aged 2 and 6) into RRDC Summer Camp upon attending an orientation. I rest assured that we both were upfront concerning our children and their behaviors: with my expressing how active my child is; and my friend expressing concern about certain behavioral issues, she experiences with one of her two children. We were assured by the presenters that these are common behaviors, it comes with age, and that there would be enough staff and experienced campers on board to accommodate the children. In my case, I called for a meeting about 5 or 6 days in, after having been advised that my child was biting (which his previous care center attested to him never doing), throwing objects, and running away from the group. I also did observe certain changes at home and became upset when my child referred to himself as “bad” (which the division supervisor did apologize about). For the short attendance, I received a little less than half of the money back, as a courtesy, for what would have been a six-week program. My child, AGAIN at my request (as well as the child previously mentioned), were both withdrawn less than 7 days of being in the program. I hope this really helps someone else in making the right choice for their child!

This place is covid central. They didn’t reduce capacity this summer at all. They’re all in crowded spaces everyday with new covid cases every week. They also expect you to pay over $300 in tips because they can’t be bothered to pay their staff appropriately. I have a lot more to say about this place but I’ll leave it at that.

My son will be finishing his 2nd year at Rolling River. It is the best place for a child to spend the summer. He is always happy to get on the bus in the morning. There are never any fights about going. His bus driver is amazing and plays cool music. My son was never interested in music until he started going to RR. Now he says all year long Mommy thats my camp/bus song and he is smiling from ear to ear. He has made great friends that we keep in touch with during the year. My sons swimming has improved so much that I now call him The fish. All the activities at RR are fun and have taught him team work, hand-eye coordination and imagination. The counselors are amazing and are truly happy to see him both in and out of camp. I couldnt ask for a better place to send my son. We love you Rolling River!

This summer was our daughters first summer at Rolling River Day Camp. She had the best summer ever! Madison looked forward to camp everyday. She made tons of friends and enjoyed every activity she participated in. Her counselors were amazing and made sure she enjoyed every minute of her first Rolling River experience. This was her first time riding a bus! Her bus driver and bus counselor were the BEST! From music on the bus to weekly contests - she would get so excited for the bus to come every morning! Her camp counselors were AMAZING and spoken about all day long! Our daughter would come home exhausted from all the fun activities she participated in and even went to bed early! We cant wait for next summer! Thanks for a wonderful camp experience. Our family LOVES Rolling River!

Rolling River is a magical place that will fill your childs summer with memories to last a lifetime. Our son keeps asking why summer has to be so short. We are finishing our third summer here and know that Rolling River will be a part of our family for a long time to come! As a parent, it is also nice to have so many calendar options when enrolling your child. Check out Rolling River...you wont be disappointed!

My children love going to rolling river. They wake up every morning excited to go. That is why they live 10 months for 2 as the camp saying goes. They also provide great holiday camp during school vacations and also throw the best birthday parties. Their staff is outstanding and extremely caring. I would recommend rolling river to everyone

My kids absolutely love Rolling River! Its small enough where the kids get to know everyone but big enough for them to experience all the sports and activities at large camps. The counselors are caring and the the supervisors and leaders are very professional.

My son is entering his tenth year at Rolling River Day Camp and I wouldnt trade one year for any where else. He has made such great friends and cant wait each year for camp to start again. Rolling River is filled with lots of activities for all ages, from pebble playground to the pool to lots of sports and other great activities (ex: WII room, gymnastics, arts and crafts, cooking, yoga, etc). And of course all the great off campus trips.

Rolling River has been family for 11 summers now. My son Jesse has enjoyed 11 summers, and my son Cody is completing his first. Both rave everyday about the activities, trips, friends and counselors. Sea you on the Riva next summer! We love Rolling River.

It is FUN FUN FUN from the moment my son boards the bus in the morning until he happily (and wearily) steps off the bus at the end of a day filled with activities. There is a wide variety of daily activities geared towards his age group, and extra special events on Fridays. We took advantage of the part time schedule offered for the younger campers. The camp is a true family operation where your child is treated as one of their own, and with unwavering enthusiasm. RRDC provides a safe, caring, and encouraging environment for the littlest ones. Only 117 days until it starts again- were counting!

What can I say about Rolling River Day Camp ... My family has been part of the Rolling River family (I do mean family) for the past 17 years. The staff and campers have a real bond. The friendships my children have made there will last a lifetime. Rolling River is the best camp ever
