Cute little salon for kids! It was very clean, and the staff was friendly. They have cars for boys and cars for girls to sit in while they get their hair done, with a tv where they can choose what theyd like to watch. They also have video games on the opposite wall which is nice for the older kids. Weve only been here once but will definitely be back!

Wow. What a horrific experience. If you are looking forward to watching your kid get their first haircut, this place will demolish those expectations. We have 2 girls, one of which was getting their first ever haircut. On the website it clearly states “one parent per child”, however when we got to the door, The decided to change things up and say “one person total”. They said it was for their safety even after we clearly stated that we would maintain distance between them. I can’t imagine what a family with 4 or 5 kids would say. Not only this, but they refused to cut the hair as short as we wanted because they said, “we don’t have the staff to do it that short today.” I wanted to erupt right then, but I decided to hold it in, only until they came out with the prices. Please do not visit this place unless you want a horrible experience, nasty workers, and over prices.

Came from 30 minutes away with a boy who turned just two and were not able to do , cause he won’t wear his mask. He is already under stress to do a haircut and now I have to wear a mask to him. We flew from another state and even airplane didn’t require to put mask on him. So conclusion if you don’t want you little kid get more stress don’t go here, waste of time.

I highly recommend Buzzing Bee. I went with my two daughters and I even got a hair cut myself. Pat is amazing! The place is clean and the atmosphere is so calm and relaxing.

Took my son to the salon today his second time my first time. I received a satisfied review from his dad when he took him. I was looking forward to taking him this time around. We arrived for our 2pm appointment on time and was greeted nicely by reception. However, the lady that was on staff today to cut hair May8th was un-friendly and tactless. My son wears a mask and it hangs a slight off his nose since its so small. She seemed to have an issue with the mask falling off the nose. Now I know we are in the middle of a pandemic but to operate a business dedicated to kids the operators are accepting this risk for the business. Upon her arrival we were not even greeted with an introduction and when she was finished she just walked away without a comment and seemed extremely eager to attend to another client. Perhaps this is just one employee but it was an awful experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. I showed her an exact picture of my sons hair and said this is exactly what I want I got a really terrible haircut. My son is 7 and he is so upset when we got home and he saw the patches on his head crooked lines. I do not recommend this place. I can’t believe I paid 20$ for this I really would love my money back.

Pat is a heartless woman. This place is not family friendly. I was “13 minutes late” due to traffic and even though I explained that I came from Queens with my two year old and 9 months pregnant belly she still refused to see us. The place was empty and there was no one waiting. I brought my toddler here twice before and she was really not personable, seemed like she had an attitude and the haircut was not even that good- I just came back because it was a familiar place, but they lost a customer today.

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I just tried to book an appointment for my 4yr old and was informed of their mask policy that anyone over 2 HAS to wear a mask. Well my 4yr old will not comply with that. She has a delay and is very sensory. Theres no exceptions. Im disgusted by their lack of compassion and empathy. This does not follow science at all. Kids are not the super spreader of covid. I hope when this is over everyone that has a child with a disability remembers thow this so called business treated not only us but our children. No other business gives us a problem when my child is maskless. As a childrens business this is totally appalling. No excuses. This is not science! Its discrimination!.

I called last minute and was able to get an appointment for my grandsons 1st haircut. I had Diana who was great. I received a picture, , certificate and clipping of his hair. On time, professional, clean and took all the COVID 19 safety precautions. I will definitely going back.

Loved my sons haircut. He’s difficult when it comes to his cuts, however his stylist was patient, speedy, and still ensuring it was perfect. She communicated with my son throughout his haircut attempting to comfort him through his fear and temper. His haircut came out great! The prices were great as well! Will be returning!

I have been bringing my daughter to Buzzing Bee since they first opened. Always clean, professional and pleasant even during the busiest times. Pat cuts my daughters hair and also styled it for her communion and it was beautiful. My daughter has a lot of hair and it is very thick. We tried other places once maybe twice in the past, but we are the happiest here with Buzzing Bee.

I was at this salon yesterday to get my sons first haircut. The reason I am giving them 1 star is because of the owners nonexistent customer service skills. I had an 11:30 appointment and yes I was 7 minutes late and instead of being greeted professionally, I was told Your late and usually we wouldnt take you and next time we wont take you because we are usually busy but since there are 2 of us and we are not busy, we will take you. I really dont know why I didnt walk out but I was caught off guard, not expecting to have an experience like this. Yes I was late but thats not how a customer should be greeted! The hair stylist that cut my sons hair, I believe Diana, was very nice with him, courteous, and respectful. She was great with my son. Unfortunately, I will not be seen in this place of business. And before leaving the owner gave me business cards to refer friends. No thanks.

What a horrible experience! If I could give no stars at all I would. Patti was not friendly at all. I feel most of these reviews are fake, for one they all sound the same. I had the total opposite experience when I took my 18 month old for the third time. We went to Buzzing bees twice and had Anna who was amazing with my son, she was very patient, took her time. We had a terrible first experience somewhere else, it was worse then getting his shots. He did not like it at all, until she sang songs, grab him different toys, even asked his favorite tv show to watch. Was saddened to hear that she no longer worked there. So we showed up for our appt and thats when we got Patti and after reading all the 5 STAR reviews, I thought we were in good hands. Boy was I wrong. From the second we walked in I felt so unwelcomed, like we ruined her day. Our appointment was Sunday 230pm and they close at 3. Reason I picked that time was to make sure I took him after he napped, thinking it would be best. She didnt even tell us her name until I asked, didnt ask for my sons name not once, I had to clean the hair off the seat before I sat my son down. I automatically asked for Mickey Mouse assuming she was going to ask me what he would like and she seemed annoyed by that. Then she starts to buzz his hair and got near his ear and he wasnt happy, so she made me pin his head against my body so she could buzz around his ear. Anna switched it up and started using the scissors and went back to buzzing. I wanted to grab him a toy but felt nervous to leave him in the seat. Anna would have gotten the toy for him. I tried making small conversations with her, but she seemed bothered that I was talking to her. She barely interacted with my son. I had to ask for product to be put in his hair and I could have done a better job. Worst hair cut ever, she doesnt know how to fade hair. No skill, it looks horrible. I felt we were being rushed. We will never go back.I rarely write reviews, but this upset me soo much, because I thought this was a childrens haircutter and that they specialize in making your child feel comfortable. So if thats what your looking for I highly suggest not to go to Patty.I hope this helps any parent deciding to take their child there.The pictures in green was right after cut, the other pictures are the next day.

Great haircut! Pat is very patient and has cut my son’s hair anywhere my son would allow in the salon. He now he looks forward to go there to get his haircut. Cute kids salon, good prices and very clean.

We love Buzzing Bee! We drive 30mins to Pat because its the ONLY place my son will not put up a fight to get his hair cut. The place is so clean and everyone is friendly. The cut is always good even when kids are squirmy. My little one loves the different seats to choose from, while my oldest is happy to play video games while getting his hair cut.

I absolutely love this place! I went for my sons haircut ( hes two) and she was amazing with him. They had toys for him to play and familiarize himself with and when it was time for his cut, they had Elmos world playing which put him at ease and kept him still. She had so much patience and was very professional and sweet. At the end he got a balloon to take home. She did an amazing job! I am so happy we found this salon!

Patricia was wonderful with both my 15 month old son and 3.5 year old daughter. They both had a great time at the salon and came out with adorable haircuts. She even did cute braids for my daughter. She obviously loves working with kids and made them feel welcome. It’s a hike from where we live but worth going back.

Didnt want to come here for my sons first haircut but my wife insisted. So I reluctantly went. Very glad I did. My son didnt even realize he was getting a hair cut. They were extremely patient and accommodating with him. If you have kids, this is most definitely the way to go for their haircut!

Make sure to schedule an appointment before you come. The appointments are not that long. The barber that cut my sons hair was very nice and knowledgeable. This was his first time getting his haircut ever and he was more relaxed than I was. I love how they have the cars for the kids to sit in. They also have TV stations for each kid along with entire bucket of toys for the kids to play with before and after while they wait.

My 7 yrs old son and 9 yrs old daughter were there for their haircut today. The salon was amazing with TVs and toys to play. The staffs were extremely friendly. Pat, the stylist, was very attentive every step of the way by asking if we were happy with the length. Their haircut came out beautiful. They both loved playing video games as they were getting their haircut.

We had an excellent experience @ Buzzing Bee Kids Salon, was expecting the worst as it was my 5 yr old sons 1st time @ a salon & he always cried when Daddy cut his hair @ home. But Pat was great and very patient with him, she kept him entertained with toys + a show & explained to him everything she did before she started to do it! We will definitely be back regularly for the fantastic service and reasonable pricing!

My daughter first time and she loved it. She was scared at first but with the help of the staff making her comfortable here face changed from unhappy to excited. She cant wait to go back.

Very unhappy with my visit. This is my second time coming and even from my first visit I found her not to be friendly. Both visits she never greeted us or told us her name. I overlooked it cause I was satisfied with how my sons haircut came out the first time but the second time I was extremely unsatisfied. I asked her to shape up the edges with clippers. She did not do so to the front. So I asked her if she did, she told me she did not and then started to do it. While she was shaping up the front, I heard her say UGH! She kept on and never said anything to me. I noticed that she went to far on the line up the hairline ended up looking like a bald spot. I get he is a child a he could of possibly moved. But I was very irritated that she didnt even acknowledge the error. She said nothing. Finished him up and walked away to the next hair cut. No goodbye, no explanation, no asking if I want to fix it. I overlooked the customer service the first time but this time was terrible and very rude, very unprofessional. Needs better communication and making the clients feel welcomed! Would not recommend.

My wife and I were looking for a place to take our 1.5yr old son for his first haircut, and we are so happy that we chose Buzing Bee Hair salon. From the moment we first stepped in, we felt very welcomed and knew that we made the right choice. They were so good with my son, who actually missed a nap before our appointment, but was happy getting his haircut since they were very good at keeping him distracted with toys/etc whenever he got fussy. Pat was so caring and meticulous with my sons haircut, and it shows in the results! My little guy looked like such a handsome big boy after he was done. We even got a certificate with his picture and lock of hair, and they also gave a lollipop for my son. It was a great experience - so glad that my wife talked me out of just taking him to my barber for his first cut. We will definitely be back.

Patty was incredible. My 2 year old is AWFUL with getting his haircut. We had tried 5 other salons before we gave up and I started cutting his hair myself for some time. We had a family party coming up so I decided he needed a “good” haircut and after researching other places we decided to try buzzing bees. Patty new exactly how to work with my son, she was so patient and eased her way into the haircut. Throughout the cut she would play with himAnd distract him with new toys. It was a great experience for him and for me. Will definitely be going back!

I am honestly warning you, do not get fooled by those good reviews. The hairstylist recked our sons hair! We had to pay a barber to fix the mess she did!! She was rushing and completely mislead us on what she could do! Horrible!

I cant even write about my experience because we never even got inside the store. If I could leave no stars I would but I dont have that option. I had an appointment at 6:15. I got to the place at 6:20. The lights were on inside. by the time I went from the parking space (10 feet away) to the door the light closed and the store sign read closed. I have never seen anything like that before. Their sign said they close at 6:30. Who runs a business like that. Will not recommend this to anyone.

PLEASE do not go here. I was mislead with the high rated reviews and drove far to go here. The owner who gave my sons first shave (which was a huge things for us) was very unfriendly. Did not introduce herself, did not try to interact with the baby or the family, did not pause when baby was crying and rushed through it and immediately took the next customer while I waited for a request to cut more. It was a TERRIBLE first haircut experience and I wish I didnt even tip her, she didnt deserve even a penny. I hope she doesnt give such a bad experience to anyone else and can put a smile on her face and learn to be courteous to her customers. The reviews on here must be fake.

Pat has been cutting my boys (ages 9 and 6) hair for many years. We have always left there with a smile! Always a great haircut! She even cuts my hair as well as my husband. You couldnt ask for a better experience.

We were given an attitude about two items not listed on the door (where mask requirement for all is stated -- which I absolutely understand!).1 ) No walk-ins. Meanwhile, we have taken our son here before as a walk-in.2) One adult only inside with child. (Okay, but a complete stranger and his child can wait inside while I stand outside of the place in the cold?)The staff member today came across as cold and not welcoming.I have to say though- he did get a great haircut!
