I tried to have my blood test done for the past week, I have been trying to find a costal lab that is open after work so I wont loose time from work, i tired calling and got a voice message with hours at the Warren Ave , EP location, which said it was open till 6 PM, the web site said it was open till 7pm. I went at 4:30 PM today and was turned away st the door after saying they close at 5 PM and just took the last patient before me. It was 4:30!! The women was not very understanding that I just fought with the traffic on 195 at that time because the site and the phone said it would be open. Now I have to take time out of work to get my blood test, i know it sounds like a small problem but my job does not allow me to leave early. I was very unsatisfied with coastal lab, Covid does not stop you from posting the correct hours or on site or the voice mail when you call.

I had heard great things about Coastal Medical and my first ever visit was great, however since the outbreak of covid the service has been absolutely terrible. I’m continuously having strep symptoms and it is near impossible to speak with an actual doctor. My last sick “visit” (mostly phone appointments) took a total of 15 phone call just to get in and get a throat culture and get the results. It has been one massive game of phone tag, and I’m speaking to someone new every single time. Today I also scheduled a sick visit and at 11am I asked for an antibiotic, it’s currently 6pm, I had to call back twice to follow up. They told me my prescription was ordered but it wasn’t at the pharmacy. I was told by a receptionist that she would call me back before leaving for the day to fill me in on the status of my prescription and just like my last experience, I never received a phone call. Completely disappointed by the continued terrible communication and service by Coastal Medical. Only bright spot is Dr. Cumplido, unfortunately it’s near impossible to schedule with him as he is always booked up.

People are very friendly and try to get you in as soon as possible

(A patient with Coastals Pulmonary Office in the Warren Ave building East Providence.)I would like to take a moment to compliment the busy Call Center staff that Ive called--Maryanne & Maria particularly for their efficiency in dealing with hundreds of calls and making sure that I always was routed to the right person---the Pulmonary office staff for their attention and efficiency dealing with their patients ---and especially the Office Manager Robyn who has spent a great deal of time out of her hectic schedule helping me resolve various issues. She is VERY knowledgeable, helpful, efficient , patient, personable , and professional---she totally sees the whole picture and has guided me to the right sources to solve various problems that arose . Both me AND my PAP machine thank her !..(...AND if a Director/Supervisor reads this, I request these compliments be passed along since in this day and age , too many folks that are satisfied tend to be silent so all that is heard are complaints)Rob S

The practice used to be my favorite pediatric, unfortunately when the new people comes in just not the same as the old practice. Dr Utter, Dr McGugan were fabulous. Even the nurses and receptionist were great. Now I can’t even get in touch with a doctor, only the receptionist answer my questions. When my teens go for sick visit, only nurse practitioner see them and they of course charge me the same rate as seeing a doctor. Disappointed with recently visits (twice).

I needed medical attention from a specialist - however couldnt be seen for over a week. The wonderful doctor at Coastal 365 was able to do the procedure in the office. I was the first surgical procedure! They were absolutely wonderful....you can always count on very good service.

Staff and doctors are very friendly with great bedside manner. I never feel rushed or that my concerns are not taken seriously. They are generally on time with appointments. I’ve never had a long wait time.

I had a great experience with Dr. Garg here. He was very thorough. The nursing and reception staff were very friendly. I’m very happy with my experience.

Unbelievably unprofessional. I have been trying to switch to Lifespan for a year and I cannot because they have a long waitlist. I so terribly want to be done with Coastal.

I love everything about Coastal Medical. Dr. Bansal, my pcp, and her medical assistant Kayla, are friendly, warm and always on top of my needs. Never feel rushed during my appointments.Dr. Pomerantz, my pulmonologist, too, is so knowledgeable and personal, and takes time with me. His office staff, as all the staff at Coastal is professional and efficient.Dr. Levin, is my cardiologist, I see him at the Smithfied office. There isnt enough room on this page for me to sing his praises. Let me just sum it up by saying he is a spcial gift to his patients.Lastly, but very important, is the lab at Coastal. Sometimes, I feel these are the unsung heroes of healthcare. Bloodwork, Xrays, ultrasounds and other important testing , is all done right at Coastal Medical. The staff in that area are all friendly and caring. As a user of warfarin, I require frequent blood work. All the phebbotomest (sp) are good, but I must single out Elizabeths abilities. Talk about precision, wow, and consistancy. She never misses. Shes spot on, everytime she takes my blood. No bruise marks, no bleeding. I asked her why she bothers with a bandage. She actually makes it a pleasure to have my blood drawn.So thats it folks. If youre looking for a great place for all your medical needs, Coastal Medical is the winner!!

The best medical practice one could use. Great doctors, NPs, PAs and staff. Efficient, friendly, super smart. Super smart. And their evenings, weekends, & holidays sick clinic is literally a life-saver.

Why call this Coastal 365 when you have to make an appointment, then continually be told you are all booked up at 8:00 in the morning. My wife was never seen on Saturday or Sunday. Seems to totally contradict their concept of being available 365. Maybe the name should be Coastal 365 SOMETIMES. i was Thouroughly disappointed as we are long time patients. Guess some decisions need to be made.

Called the Coastal365 # to book sick visit, got a very rude rachel on the line. It wasnt even 9AM and she was already having a bad day and the client has to pay for it... To top it off, she gave me the wrong appointment. Nice job rachel, maybe additional training is in order.

Great place to gret treated. Both of our children have their pediatric PCP here. One stop shop, which is nice. Blood work, exrays etc. Staff is always friendly, and generally run right on schedule.

The diabetes pharmacist constantly harasses me at 7 am in the morning with phone calls. She is always lecturing me and never really pays attention to what I have to say. Half the time I am trying to sleep and is disturbed.

True, old school, family focused medical services with all the modern technology to make for a smooth and comforting experience.

When you need x-rays or blood work there is usually very little wait time.

The staff and medical team are experienced and friendly. Ive never had a long wait time.
