WOW , even an hour after my appointment w.Doc.C Im still like WOW ... My first time there I always say first time impressions mean a ton to me... Well they have certainly met all of my expectations! The staff was so very very friendly and professional... Then when Doc C came in WOW .... Absolutely he is professional, kind, has empathy and definitely shows interests that his patients are number one! What I LOVED the most was when he said gentle is his middle name and I can tell he is just by how calm he is, his energy was ABSOLUTELY amazing! I also LOVED his direct eye contact... This is why Im still feeling WOW!

The receptionist and employees are very very nice and friendly. the manager is awesome down to earth and willing to assist you every way possible. the doctor is one of the most nicest Dentist you can ever meet makes you feel relaxes and comfortable. and explain everything to you and let you know yur going to be well taking care of.

This office has the potential to be the best on the Island so it pains me to only give it 2 stars. As a mom who only wants the best, Ill start by saying that Dr. Bast is amazing. Hes friendly, kind, caring and trustworthy. The work he did is second to none. I would love to go back to this office when my little guy gets big enough to get his wisdom teeth out... but I wont. The office is clean and in a great location and I need to Express my happiness because I dont think its fair for Dr. Bast to get a low rating without explanation. The reason I will never go back is that his assistants are very rude. The nicer I was, the ruder they became. It started the minute i walked in. They are very cold and unwelcoming. (The receptionist is nice, so not the exact minute I walked in). Maybe its the yin and yang of the office? Anyway I created a post asking for oral surgeon recommendations WITH A NICE Staff, I was able to get another doctors name. And furthermore, a majority of the responses were in agreement that a nice staff can make all the difference. God bless you Dr. Bast.

I’ve been going to this practice since 1999. I will not take my family to any other place. People ask me about a certain doctor and my response is always the same “Doesn’t matter which one you get, they are all great” the staff that they have in every location makes a some times bad situation so much better especially when you have kids. You leave the room knowing they are in the best hands.Today is April 29, 2021 as we speak my daughter is getting all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I walked out knowing that Dr. Bast and his staff are taking care of my baby girl.

I went To This office and had a Tooth Extracted Today and The office is Immaculate, The Staff is Amazing and Friendly and Dr. Bast is The Best oral Surgeon I’ve ever had He’s very kind and Compassionate and Professional. I highly recommend This Office and Dr. Bast he should be called DR. Best because he’s the best!

I had an appointment in August 2021 to get my wisdom tooth pulled by Dr. Mario Capuano. However, a month earlier I awoke in great pain, I knew I couldnt tolerate the pain, and needed immediate assistance. Dr. Capuano took me in at a moments notice and extracted the tooth. While Dr. Capuano prepared me for the procedure, I asked about the pay, the financial officer entered the office and indicated that I did not have to pay anything extra. While I worried about the grueling procedure, I was nonetheless surprised that i felt no pain at any time. Dr. Capuano was considerate advising me about each step, telling me what to expect during the procedure, and how to handle the after-effects at home. Later in the day, Dr. Capuano called me personally about my overall health and my mouth in particular. I am still awed that he took me in, and carried out the procedure immediately. The entire staff was kind, informative and compassionate. I am grateful for his help.

Like most of us, dental work is unpleasant and stressful. I can not say enough greatness about this office. Dr. Bast and the office staff are nothing short of spectacular. They have a way of making you feel comfortable and relaxed. I have had several procedures here and have had very little pain associated with these procedures. Highly recommended!!

All my adult life have had really bad experiences with dentists. This experiences resulted in high anxiety and fear.I had to remove a bridge that fell apart and caused damaged to a tooth that was supporting it, resulting in removal of the tooth as well.The workers were friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr. BAST was exceptional. He made me feel at ease. The work he did in my mouth, I felt minimal pain. My recovery was also smooth I followed all the directions and felt minimal discomfort.Dr. BAST, DEFINITELY HAS A GENTLE HAND.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My follow up appointment at LIOMSA went smoothly. I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted by a cordial receptionist. I waited briefly in a clean, comfortable waiting area before being invited by an friendly assistant who waited while I rinsed with a peroxide solution and saw me to the exam room. Dr. Bast arrived shortly thereafter, greeted me, asked how my recovery was coming along. All is well as I continue to follow his protocols. After the examination, I met with friendly, accommodating associate to set up my next appointment. I felt comfortable throughout my visit and look forward to my next appointment in about a month.Overall, an excellent visit.

I am 1 of many that is petrified of having dental work done. Terrible experiences in my past stopped me from taking care of my teeth! At 51 I am trying to get back my smile back. Dr. Bast should change his name to Best! He is extremely patient, understanding and reassuring. I would recommend ANY SCAREDY CATS LIKE ME TO GO THERE. I promise you will not regret it.. The staff, everyone of them will treat you with professionalism AND most important kindness! I am healing from 2 extractions and have tears of joy. To the new smile that will be! Going to have a tooth pulled is never fun.HOWEVER!DR. Bast.was by far the best oral surgeon I have been to!Kind, funny, he explained everything.His staff was so thoughtful so understanding about how one feels when having this done Immaculate office, and every precaution taken during this covidtime . The procedure was quick painless and it was not an easy procedure I needd very little recovery time, I felt fine pretty much by the next day. They got me in on the day I called so I did not have to wait 4 days! I cant say enough good things !I will say when I told my son that had gone to get a tooth pulled and I told him the oral surgeons name he Mom I go to him too he is the best!I will only go to this practice for any future work!Thank you Dr.Bast and staff!!

Great office. The ladies are all so nice and the doctor is wonderful. Although Im very scared of dental work this office really makes me comfortable and at ease.

Super friendly staff, always greeted with a smile when I come in! Dr. Bast is really nice and had been great at explaining everything step by step through my process of getting implants. I could not be any happier with Dr. Bast and his staff and highly recommend their office!!

Reception is INCREDIBLY NASTY & RUDE!! Calling to schedule an appt was a disaster. They then called me back to get my insurance information ONE time at 11am while I was working, she leaves a voicemail stating that she called me a million times & now I need to pay out of pocket. (Meanwhile I have been there before and she only called ONE time.) I give a nice call back & she proceeds to be nasty and rude while I am asking to give my insurance information to her now. I work, go to school, and have a kid. Sorry if it slipped my mind to call back with insurance information. Needless to say, I cancelled my appt & will NOT being going there. When your rude to patients, you lose patients.

I am very afraid of dentists but this group of Drs and staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, comforting and compassionate to my needs and fears. They follow up with you during and after any procedures. They’re kind and very helpful. I recommend them to everyone especially if the fear dentists as I do.

Dr Bast was excellent. He pulled a broken molar that was causing severe pain. His confidence and experience showed the second I met him. Did a great job and I’d highly recommend going here if you need an oral surgeon. Very happy pain free customer. I don’t have dental insurance and they worked with me on payment also. Highly recommend.

My mom was a new patient there she is an 86-year-old woman with dementia and the staff was more than accommodating and kind Dr. Mario Capuano was so professional with her and also so caring he extracted the bad tooth in merry moments and the whole time made her feel safe and secure the staff is 100% professional and kind and caring you can’t go wrong here- unfortunately not everyone is so nice with people with disabilities

Meghan and Dr Bast were awesome! I was a first time patient and my surgery couldn’t of gone any better. From the very start Meghan was accommodating and calming and Dr Bast put me at ease immediately. Getting wisdom teeth removed is hardly a pleasurable experience but the team here made it a great experience overall.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Bast and his staff. I was very anxious about the appointment and procedure during covid-19 but Everyone was very patient and spent time to explain the procedure. Its not easy to find a good, cooperative and affordable dentist, I highly recommend Long island oral & maxillofacial surgeons.

I had to go get a cracked molar extracted. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. They got me in and the tooth out in no time. The Dr was very nice and reinsured mw I was doing great the whole time. I didn’t have any pain or discomfort during the procedure. Over all a very good experience.

The name of the game is how many teeth can I pull .I wouldn’t think acting like a used car salesman for more business and profit is neither moral , ethical or professional .If you are expecting respect and guidance on what to do from a supposed professional , with X-rays and knowledge ........for get it . It’s all about the money , and what they can sell you . Even if you dont need it .Go to someone you can trust...... from my perspective saving teeth should be the objective. NOT pulling them for profit . And these guys you definitely not the ones to steer you right .

The staff is excellent and I made new friends in Ilene and Irene and Dr Park is the best I’m so happy that my dentist recommended I see this surgeon I’ll always go back if needed!!!!

I have serious anxiety when it comes to having to see the Dentist, but not here. Dr. Bast made me feel extremely comfortable, he is so personal and kind.

Called this place with a horrible tooth pain from a rotted tooth, and within a week they had me in the office. I got there, the staff were really nice and the dentist was a bald guy who kind of looked like a mad scientist, but he’s good at what he does . He put the gas on me and from there , all I can remember is trying not to laugh the whole time he pulled my tooth out . I would recommend this place for emergencies, but remember this is a business so they want to push things on you to keep you coming back , BUT YOU DONT HAVE TOO

Overall an amazing experience. The doctor and staff are very nice and friendly. I absolutely hate going to anything that has to do with teeth but they made me feel very relaxed and I was very comfortable being there.
