I was amazed by Patricia Reynosos excellent job. She has a great personality & she made all my financing process very nice & smooth. She kept checking up with me & updating me on my case. Shes very organized & her work is very professional. Shes always smiling & her customer service was absolutely amazing. Excellent job.

Horrible service. Very unprofessional. The tellers and bankers need to be properly trained to provide timely and attentive service. Please take notes from any other bank in the area. There are minimal requirements to providing good service, even if you don’t have a solution for your clients. Unfortunately, these are not being met.

Back in September this year I had amazing transaction with San Mateo Credit Union loan rep Angelica Luna. Entire loan went absolutely flawlessly, communication was 10+. In fact Angelica would reach out with updates on loan status by her self, witch usually doesnt happened. Many times as an agent I would always have to call first and ask lenders hows everything going. So Angelica went above and beyond. It was pleasure working with her. Thank you

Horrible credit union. Avoid.

I cant believe that the San Mateo credit union bank is open until 6pm on Fridays. Have they not got the meme of Covid-19. The rest of other banks are closing at 4pm Monday--Friday.

Avoid this branch. I made a simple deposit at the ATM machine in front of this branch and the next day my money was removed from my account. I go there looking for answers and they tell me that I was scammed and need to check with the other bank. I get a receipt from Bank of America showing that the check was processed at the EPA SMCU branch and I head back to get answers. The same guy who told me that I was a victim of a scam now changes his story and tells me that he cant help me because he already gave m my money. I head out the door and call customer support and threaten to contact channel 5 on your side if I dont get answers. The lady contacts the EPA branch to see what happened and I immediately get a call from the same guy stating that he found my money and it was due to some processing delay. What a bunch of BS! Thank you to the people of this East Palo Alto branch for wasting my damn time. San Mateo Credit Union is good but avoid this joke of a place.

I went there on Thursday to deposit and fix a problem that I had with my SMCU app, I wasn’t able to access it, for almost three weeks, I tried at other branch in Redwood City and unfortunately and even though there was an employee named Vincent who was very friendly and willing to help, we couldn’t figure the solution out, I asked Damon Frazier at East Palo Alto branch and in less than five minutes he was able to solve the issue, I was so surprised and very happy with his help, he was very friendly and very efficient, wow I believe he deserves a raise or at least a bonus, he knew better even than the people on the phone who work at support services, thank you so much Damon F for your help!!!

Professional and friendly. A place I can bring my kids without feeling discriminated against. Love the reading nook for my children while I take care of banking.

Wait times can be pretty long depending when you go since it is the only bank in East Palo Alto. For the most part staff is very polite.

This branch is Unique in the since that, they go that extra mile to be of assistance, And the costumer assistance to every member is above & be on other banks and credit unions.im always greeted with a smile and how are you...Love these Ladies and gentlemen....

I’ve called twice, the first time to help with the stupid online account which isn’t linked to the phone app for some stupid reason; and the password that I re-entered failed, the second call I made, they asked for my social and name with that being said, wouldn’t that be enough to identify me? Anyhow they treated me like an idiot over the phone and then proceeded with hanging up on me I DO NOT RECOMEND THEIR SERVICE! I have no idea about the other credit unions but the lady’s answering the phone need to learn customer service. I’m obviously calling because I have a problem and do not understand how to over come it, I don’t need attitude from the other side just some simple assistance.

We’re waiting upto 1 1/2 hours there.They called people’s who came after our presence.Really very worst behavior & they’re giving preference to Race.

Terrible service go to the Redwood City branch if you can the people here dont know what they are doing.

Waiting time for me was almost an hour to open a CD. No wonder people like online banking.

I wanted to open a new account and they made me go about 4 laps, because they asked me for paper for paper, when I finally had all the documents in hand, the woman told me that I needed my original itin that I needed to certify that I really had it and that I didnt open another Anyway, I talked to the supposed manager and I needed my taxes — in short, a very unpleasant experience. In the end I had to go to Redwood City, excellent attention.
