The people that worked there were very nice but the doctor was extremely rude. Never had an eye doctor so unprofessional before. Id give 1 star but like I said the workers were very friendly and helpful.

I have been a regular patient of Dr.Spiro for several years and had always received good and courteous service. But today was the total opposite. I had an appointment and when i arrived they were very busy seemed as though they were overbooked. The worker Knoll was not courteous spoke to me as though my business was meaningless to the establishment. Very unprofessional and beligerant. He even said he was gonna call the police and claim i threatened him, which i never did. I am not a person that will conduct myself in such a manner. But i did make it clear to him that i was not gonna allow him to speak to me as though i was a child or in a manner to which i felt as if i was being disrespected. He definitely does not have the people skills needed to be dealing directly with the public. I reported the incident to my insurance company because they (eye dr.) are the provider my insurance has authorized and as such my insurance should not allow a provider to be a part of their network when it treats its members in an unprofessional manner. I will not use them again. And strongly do not recommend anyone else to.

The receptionists were kind and helpful. However, the doctor wasn’t efficient. He didn’t seem as if he cared about the patient. I went on a Monday, they don’t accept walk-ins on Mondays, however because I was experiencing pain they took me. My injury happened a little while ago, so he was more so concerned about how long it took for me to get to a doctor than actually helping me. When I made it clear that I didn’t agree with him asking that question multiple times and not asking about my pain, he told me to leave.

This place is a gem! The optometrist is very pleasant, taking his time to explain all the options in order for me to get the best results!! Prices are reasonable! Staff is very professional and friendly! I live far but it’s worth the drive!

Took my daughter here and there service was fast and very professional. When it came time to choose a frame my daughter is very picky and they were absolutely fabulous with patients. I even came back as a patient.5 stars for me will recommend to anyone

The owner of this place name John who is Caucasian was very horrible, I’m an African American man and he treated me harshly after asking him nicely about simple question regards to replacing my glasses because the screws keeps scraping above my house. He had a nasty attitude towards me saying I can’t replace them and I will never ever come back to this place ever again! He shouldn’t treat customers like that at all! A HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE !!!! BEWARE PPL!

The doctor there is a wonderful person.He has a wonderful staff that welcomes right away. Paperwork is organized. The Doctor is very detailed and I highly recommend Eye Care to everyone. East Orange Eye Care. Thanks Carol Cornman.

This place is a Joke I go in to have them place my script in my sunglasses I get a attuide from the reception the doctor had to help she was rude and nasty screaming I don’t like her face this young lady has never met me until this visit when I approach the doctor he steps in to help along with the other employee still the young lady is in the back laughysaying she is not bothered I then tell the young lady I choose not to have my glasses come here he asked me why I tell him her attitude is unprofessional and I don’t want to have anything done the young lady says she don’t like my face when I call the next morning the owner gets on the phone and tells me according to this young lady I was rude to her go Figure where are the. Dont judge the book by its cover! This place is professional, thorough and curtious! Went to another fancy neighboring eyeglass store and was prescribed the wrong strength of lens for both eyes and the service wasnt that friendly. EO Eye care found bleeding behind one eye that had been going on without my knowledge and was immediately referred to the Retina center for urgent care and for that, I am most appreciative.

Ive been going there for two years and never had a negative experience. The exams are thorough and the staff quite helpful. Will always be my first choice for eyecare.

I dont know about others but the doctors are very excellent and the receptionist arewell respectful, so if there rude to you, you must be disrespectful, just because they work there, they deserved to be respected, you treat people how you want to be treated.
