I have never had such a terrible experience at a pharmacy before. Their customer service is very unprofessional, the wait time is always very long, and I usually have to come back more than once to work out the problems in filling my prescriptions. I’ve gone three times and waited two weeks and still haven’t had my prescription filled. They never answer the phone. You can be on hold for two hours before getting someone who will answer the phone. I am switching pharmacies. I do not recommend them. I am willing to drive 20 minutes to a different CVS rather than go to this one which is very close.

Always smells like mold and rotten carpet! Expired items on the shelves. The only redeeming quality is the manager. She’s a lovely young lady and is always pleasantly helpful. Otherwise, I would give 0 stars.

Very unorganized. They made me wait for an hour only to tell me they do not have my medication available. Sent me to a different location, and never canceled my prescription at their location, preventing me from receiving the medication at the SECOND location

They never answer phone calls, ever. Recently, I’ve been on hold for more than 90 minutes in separate instances. they always act understaffed, but sometimes have more than 7 techs in the back doing god knows what.

Worst pharmacy ive ever dealt with. They are always under staffed and prescriptions never ready even tho they text you they are. Staff very unprofessional. One clerk even had on a bonnet as if she just rolled out of bed. Its so much wrong here. Management needs to check on things.

The white lady whom happened to be there on the 05/062021 at about 5: 30 p.m is very rude and unprofessional, my wife ask her for simple question the first question she ask was did you have insurance? When my said no she Fran and tell her to go to the hospital and my wife was ready pay cash, she didnt even care to find out what she want before asking for insurance and sent her away, thats very bad

The Customer Service is the worst. When you called you are put on hold for more than 30 mintue and no one pick up the phone. Then someone purposely hang up on you without even saying hello. Im sorry I use this Pharmacy the are the worst.

The staff is very patient and helpful despite how trying and upset the customers get. A little unorganized, but they have A LOT going on and always manage to get the job done.

They really need a new pharmacy team. Its in East orange so gust we dont get good service

The prescriptions are never ready although we receive text message notifications. Also, I am always disconnected when I call or am on hold long enough for me to drive to the actual store.

Usually the service is good in regards to the pharmacy and the new delivery option, but IF it is DIRE for you to take the medication, go pick it up!!!! One to two days can turn into four quickly and then youre SOL. Please learn from me, I am in so much pain that couldve been avoided.

The worst CVS store Ive ever been in. My insurance demands that I have all my prescriptions filled by CVS. The Central ave store in East Orange is my neighborhood store. Im wondering why is it that this store is so horrible!? Ive been to other CVS stores and they havent been as bad as this store. Im thinking that its because of the stores location. A black neighborhood. HORRIBLE STORE!!!!!

This CVS is the slowest place in the world. The line takes forever. There is basically one person behind the register. Everyone else is doing something???? They hardly ever have anything on sale in stock!!! It can be a real waste of time shopping here. Even their prescriptions are slow and we do not even use them for this!!! Go elsewhere, but not to the Rite Aid nearby, they do not appreciate their customers either.

Pharmacy so very disorganized, dirty. Most of the time they forget to order meds that run out. Dont bother to answer phone. Total disaster. Switched to Walgreens. What a difference! And open 24 hours.

Definitely one of the worse CVS locations I’ve ever been to. The store is filthy and employees are rude, the pharmacy needs improvement. If I need to go to another CVS I’ll go to the one Broad St in Bloomfield.

My experience here was extremely horrendous. I placed in a transfer for a prescription about one week ago with the expectation that I would have been called back with information about my prescription the following day. However, this was absolutely not the case. What was supposed to be a 24 hour wait turned into more than a few days. After getting on the phone with another staff member, I was told yet again that I must wait for another message that I doubt I will ever receive. The entire time I was being extremely respectful due to me simply wanting my medication and instead, I was greeted but absent minded rude staff members, who barely have any idea as to what they are even doing. Now I wait yet again for a prescription that might as well be a lucid dream at this point. I do not recommend coming here. Ever!

This place is unorganized and very dirty. I even spoke to the cashier and asked what happen, she was embarrassed to answer. I couldnt even find a cart for my stuff. I have come here over 15 years, I officially transfer my info out this store. Its really nasty in here and very under stock. I waiting for this to close and something else pop up. Sorry CVS.

Today I went to the store location 317 central ave in East Orange NJ and unfortunately it was one of the worst visits ever! It took forever to find what I was looking for, then finally when I got to the counter, I didnt know what cash register to go to because no one was there. When the, I guess store clerk got up there I had to guess where the line was because someone else was immediately waited on and only then I guess I found the line. This was a pathetic experience. I hardly visit CVS anyway due to the outrageous cost but this experience made it worst. Do the community a favor, shut this location down. Then that will be one less bad experience people would not have to worry about trying to avoid.

Please do not visit this CVS pharmacy. They are very rude and have the nastiness attitude. I live down the street from this cvs for 10 years and they recently hired new employees and they are bad for business. I put in my prescription for my Iron and Prenatal Vitamins and got my Iron in 15mins but had to wait 2 1/2 weeks to get my Prenatal Vitamins. I literally live down the street but will travel to Walgreens pharmacy then visit Cvs phamacy. Im highly disappointed. I will be using all my social media platforms to bring awareness to this cvs pharmacy.

This is one of the worst pharmacies around! You wait on line for a long time even if there are only a few customers in line! Most of the cashiers are not polite nor courteous and this includes the managers that work the registers! No class! If you are desperate emogj to shop here check the dates on everything, especially the snacks. Their sale item are not good if they have them available at all.Do not buy anything from CVS in East Orange, New Jersey! Its a waste of time!

I love the staff. Hate that shelves clear very fast cause of sales but over i love this location.

Was told that I had to no refills left when the bottle clearly said that I do they didn’t even want to look it up by rx number go to a different pharmacy.

You have to wait for a long time even when they are a few customers this is my last time coming to this place. Waiting for an almost 1hour for my son’s meds. Carzy
