Im happy that my insurance opened a resource center in East L.A. This place offers so many things to do, CPR Certification, Zumba classes, and diet and exercise classes, and other classes. They have a calendar for events for the month. Most importantly, They give you information on your health insurance and contact who you need to speak to while you are with the person in their office, so you dont wait on the phone and get frustrated when they transfer you five times in one hour. Check this place out. There are other sites in and around the Los Angeles area. L.A. Care Help center was very helpful and caring towards my needs.

Was recommended to go here by my doctor. I took a yoga class for the first time. They have a rewards program for specific classes. They have bathrooms and a water fountain. There is parking, but may be hard to find if the stores around the place are really busy.

East L.A resource Center is great ! Free classes on healthy eating . Zumba ,dealing with diffult emotions , diabetes . Bootcamp for kids , CPR class .The center has brought allot of good to the community . I have seen members lose weight and tell me that they have learned allot and make healthier choices . Center is open to anyone . Iris the administrator is doing a great job running the center . Nancy , Renee , Stephany . Laura and Leslie are true professionals and good at their job . ( They deserve a raise ) Hint Hint .

And as an extra they have friendly staff willing to help answer your questions.Each month they provide a printed calendar with their daily activities so that they are aware.
