Nursing staff left my mom without oxygen at least twice and no nurses button. When I called to complain to nursing director Stacy she avoided my call and to this day has refused to call me. My mother died here after complaining of her leg hurting and when tried to reach nursing staff they hung up on me twice. Told me she was sleeping but according to ems report was found unresponsive at the time I was on the phone with nurse who told me she was sleeping. I have my phone records and ems report but because the Medilodge dr signed the death certificate as natural causes I was refused an autopsy by medical examiner. This place needs to be shut down. I am thankful for Toka for her assistance to talk to my mom in the week before her death. But Melissa lied to me and Stacy still has never offered apology and the dr never checked for a blood clot. She was left for hours in her chair and no one answered her nurses button bec they were busy doing Covid injections for the employees and couldn’t even get a crash cart together. I tried to have my mom taken out of here just 2 days before her death and was assured by insurance that they were told she was doing much better and I could take her home in a couple days. My mom was right she told me if I left her there they would kill her and now that’s all I can think of. I loved my mom and it kills me that she was left like this and died alone. Regardless of Covid family should be aloud to have at least one visitor that can check on them. Hospital does it so no reason. When they know you can’t do anything about it they aren’t held accountable

I have been working here since October of 2019. I love my job. I feel valued and appreciated in this career! The residents are really what makes my job fun and the staff here is very friendly and helpful. It’s great working in a team that values teamwork.

Ive had both parents in this facility, my mother was in in 2012 and we had a great experience at that time so when my dad needed a place to recover and get rehab we thought of this facility. It has not disappointed. The employees are wonderful and very caring and treat him like family. They have a lot of different activities and most Fridays they have outings to different places such as Walmart, bowling and we just went to Uncle Johns Cider Mill. We were just at their annual Halloween party and it was great fun. They had food and a musician and even brought in animals for everyone to pet and enjoy such as cats, dogs, bunnies and horses. It was a lot of fun for the residents and their families.

Ive really enjoyed working here. Being able to see the residents thrive everyday brings me great joy. BIG SHOUT OUT to all of my employees! They are truly the glue and backbone of this place. We are human and everyone has emotions and things they battle but when the employees step on the floor here they are about the residents!!!!! What a blessing, and I say that from the depths of my heart! Im thankful for everyone at MEDILODGE OF CAMPUS AREA. #CAMPUSSTRONG

This facility has a caring group of staff. There response to resident issues or concerns is immediate. Residents and staff are like one big family. This is a great place to be.

I love my job. I love being able to help people and put a smile on their face.. The team work is great, someone is always will to help even when it gets busy... Our nurses are very helpful when it comes to a helping hand.. Everyone in the building works extremely hard on making sure the residents are well thought of and taken care of and the building is clean.. Couldn’t ask for a better team!!

From our weekly facility outings, and special events make our residents lives bright. Our senior companions visit with our residents 5-6 hours a day and provide 1:1 companionship. I have worked with the Mediloge group since November of last year. I have found this company to show outstanding initiative when it comes to educating its staff, allowing them to be more knowledgeable and giving them the tools to do their jobs well. The staff are wonderful to work with lots of team work, and willingness to help. The residents are kind and appreciative, I for one find it a privilege to serve them as well. This is a great company, lots of time goes into improving the building and environment, so the residents can truly feel at home, and have staff that cares for them like their own families.

I work here, and enjoy my job in the activities department, my supervisor is understanding of real life issues when needing time off and my co workers are all nice. The residents seem to enjoy all the activities we put on and the outings we attend.

Great nursing team, they really work well together. I have worked at many other facilties and this one works the best together. The therapy department is awesome. They rehab the patients and have them ready for home in no time. The residents are treated like family! I would recommend this facility to anyone!

I have had a great experience at Medilodge! The Nurses and aids are friendly and very well educated. They take the time to explain things if you dont understand. I have watched them with others in here, most would loose their patience but not the ones I have seen here. From the higher ups. Lisa, Sara, Amanda. To the Nurses like Mary and aids like Samantha. I have two open wounds on my legs, I have had them for two years now and they just refuse to heal. But since I have been here and seeing the wound Doctor, they are actually healing! They change the dressing every day and dont act like they are doing me a favor and I should be grateful. They always make sure my room is clean, fresh sheets on the bed, trash empty, floors swept! The foods not bad either, they make great cabbage rolls! The PT has me up and walking a lot farther than i was walking at home. They are wonderful people also.I wouldnt want to go anywhere else!!

The new renovations look amazing. It is so bright and cheerful on the inside. The staff is great and always are smiling!!

Relative was admitted for physical therapy. The food is horrible. The facility is ALWAYS understaffed. The rooms are tiny and filthy. After three days we left and went to Robinwood. Would not recommend.

My aunt stayed at Medilodge (Northwind Rehab) for two years and my wife or I typically visited her 5 days per week, so we saw quite a lot of the place. I ate lunch or dinner there many times. Medilodge was home to my aunt and the staff were like family. They shared a lot of loving care. The building is modest compared to the new places in the area but when a room came open in one of those new places, my aunt wanted to stay at Northwind. She liked her room and she loved her nurses. My aunt was appreciative of her care. We knew several other residents who were also treated consistently very well. Not only were the nurses vary caring, but so were the staff when we had problems with insurance or meds.

They have a great maintenance team. They really care about the residents here.

Awful, awful place. All of the 5 star reviews are from managers. They accepted the Medicaid and Medicare plan and that’s why we had to go here. Just because we have a low income doesn’t mean we aren’t human beings.

There are so many things that make this facility special. From the beautiful therapy gym to the brand new dialysis center to the restorative program, MOCA is dedicated to improving your quality of life and restoring you to your best possible self. The staff treats every resident with dignity and respect and goes above and beyond in their care. It did not matter if the patient was long term or short term; they were cared for like family. Campus Area has a spectacular activities program. I was so impressed with the activities that were held including musical acts, bingo, and some really fun outings. This is a facility that cares, really cares and wants to do the right thing by everyone who passes through those front doors.Things I forgot in my original review:The facility has their own bus and driver to take residents to and from appointments. There is an In-house beauty shop with a wide array of services. MOCA has social services led discharges to make sure you have everything you need to hit the ground running.There is a strong volunteer program and they work closely with MSU.MOCA also works closely with Community Mental Health and numerous hospices to ensure that each every resident is receiving the unique care they require.

Poor workers... place cant keep up to cod.. All and all i would not tell any one about East lansing Health care.. There employees lie, stills, and just dont Care is this a place you want to sand you love ones not me.. People care more about your love ones dont send them to east Lansing health care.. Thank u..

A great place to volunteer for anyone. They are very flexible and are sure to make sure you meet your hour requirements, if for a class . Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I have learned many things from Toka and the the other staff that I am excited to continue to volunteer here!

Do not go here if you can help it. Yes, they do have some really nice staff members and Im grateful to those individuals, but the facility is not good. Its dirty. My sister had bloody, dirty linens sitting in her room for three days. The floor in her room was never cleaned in three weeks. And the worst thing, was that they exceed the 48 hour time limit to sign off on her death and therefore our family couldnt move forward with her remains or services. Absolutely unacceptable. If you can go somewhere else, DO!

Great activity department with lots of opportunities to take group trips outside of the facility, with the facility owned bus. Staff was very friendly!

The WORST nursing home. Smells like urine. Patients crying out to be taken to their rooms to go to the bathroom. Nurses break wound vacs, steal pain meds, and generally neglect their patients. Toilet overflows are cleaned up by spreading the urine all over the floor and wait for it to dry. My son was left in urine soaked sheets ALL night, not good for bedsores. Same nurse stole his pain meds TWICE. Go anywhere else but here.

I had my mother here the proper care for her was not being tended too. Sorry my mother had bed sores, her diet wasnt right. Sad to say after 8 months my mother pass awasy. She was only 53
