While waiting in my exam room (for over an hour, they were very busy) I heard the intake nurse telling multiple patients that the covid vaccine doesnt matter anymore with the new delta variant, and that SHE WASNT VACCINATED. This is astounding to hear coming from a medical staff speaking in a professional capacity during a worldwide pandemic.That said, the care I received from the nurse practitioner and fulfilled my needs, but because of the above issue I wont be returning unless it is a life-death scenario and have to give this place a 1 star review.

Front desk staff does not know what they are doing. Missed important information needed to send over to the pharmacy, had to return to their office so they can send the correct info. Didn’t even apologize or seem to care about their error. Finally was able to get my prescription 4+ hours after the visit. very unprofessional and careless

The staff at the East Haven facility was super friendly and very concerned about my well being. They all took their time in diagnosing me. All were super helpful and did their jobs at highest of levels. Ill definitely be visiting again (hopefully not for a long time) if I ever need medical attention especially on a weekend again. Good job girls 👍🏾

I had a Physican Assistant named Brittany who was excellent. She called me for 2 days to make sure I was fine. No one does that anymore. Great services.

CVS was my scheduled test for COVID but the lost my reservation after spending 1 hour on line making the appointment. So, I went to DOCS, Where I had my previous tests and walked in and they do what they always do, helped me out! So,I got my test (negative)back with in 30 minutes and was on my way... DOCS is always professional and....NICE!!! Thanks again!!!

Fast, clean and polite. Very experienced Dr and nurses. Many appointments all day about every 3-5 minutes. Fast result test answer in about 2hrs most. Longer tests results within 48hrs usually. Make you appointment online and fill all your information that way so when you arrive you let them know on Docs app and call you in when it’s your turn so you’re not waiting in line with more then one other person being tested ahead of you. They also have many testing sites besides East Haven.

Her name is Dr Dulongo, she is a great listener and offers excellent advice and has been the only doctor to get all my medical needs in order. Highly recommend coming here to the East Haven Docs medical group.

This was the second time I tried to utilize this clinics services. The first time they said they had no Doctors, yesterday I arrived with svere pain in my foot. I was called into the room by a nurse who saw me struggling to walk and try to get on the table and offered no help. My vitals were taken and she relalized she had no thermometer never got one and never asked any Covid questions she just left saying the APRN would be in. I waited no one came (they were not busy at that time) I finally asked if someone were coming and was told someone was coming. No one did after an hour of waiting I left the exam room saw the nurse and said I was leaving. She said OK. I would never go there again.

My dad took my elderly mother to an appointment to urgent care on Tuesday, 8/24/21. He was asked to wait in the car while my mom was examined. After examining her symptoms they told her she probably had allergies and then said she had to get a covid test and would have to wait 15 minutes for results in another area. My mother is very old and veryfragile. She isnt fluent in english. My mom asked could she wait for results in the car. The doctor came ​into the room abruptly and yelled at her and said if you want to leave then leave. My mom tried to explain that she didnt want to leave she just asked to wait for results in the car with her husband. The doctor continued with disruptive behavior and ranting about being short staff and tired. My mom told the doctor that was no way to speak to anyone and said she would never go back to that urgent care. At that moment the another nurse walked in with the covid negative results and my mom proceeded to leave carefully as she was losing balance walking due to knee surgery, The doctor extended her hand and said she was tired and short staff. My dad called me immediately as my mom shared what happened all while telling us she was crying.To the disrespectful doctor Nicole Marden and The Docs Medical Group on Rt.80Sham! On you!The behavior displayed on my elderly mom was beyond disrespectful for a variety of reasons.I am certain that this is a major topic during training sessions and most definitely needs to be addressed again at this location.STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! and Dr. NICOLE MARDEN

Simply the best doctors THEY LISTEN TO EVERY SINGLE THING CONCERNING THEIR PATIENTS... my 4th visit and absolutely no complaints.

Went for a eye issue. Nurses were very nice and professional but the doctor was a bit rude like he was trying to rush me out an didnt really care about what was going on. Mind you, there were about four other patients. However he didnt have to be rude.

Been dealing with chronic joint pain, as well as other symptoms for almost 5 years. I went to several walk ins (affiliated with Yale) after my last doctor….thought I was lying, because I was a young women and also I dealt with mental illness due to a trauma I experienced in my early 20s…but I sought help and learned how to cope and manage my feelings better, but she used that against me….they all didThey still did blood tests to prove to me nothing was wrong, however they kept coming back abnormal for things I should have had more extensive test. My mother was a nurse in the navy and I showed her the results and she said the same…pushed me to see other people. For about two years I lost faith in doctors (despite the pandemic) because of them….sorry to say that. I actually dropped my self from that doctor due to how she was to me. I decided to stop trying and kind of became depressed. This pain persists every single day, most of the time I take ibuprofen….but it doesn’t help much anymore.Last month I was in so much pain (some days are worse than other days)so I decided to try again….I went in Thinking it’d be the same as the past. I was honest and told her I had mental Illness in the past. However, This new doctor, She listens! I forgot her name, but she ordered tests, and after they came back abnormal…again, she told me that blood test confirmed the diagnosis of what I’ve been dealing with for so long so referred me to a rheumatologist on that same day…not affiliated with Yale, which is totally fine with me. The nurses are super nice…not like those who you know they hate their job and take it out on patients. Also, since I didn’t have a doctor, she took me in as a permanent patient since they are primary care doctors as well. Definitely would recommend!

Only issue was no xray. But office got me in at ynhh immediately no wait time friendly and attentive staff

I when to do a Covid test on Monday the 21 of December. Wednesday have my results. They are very quick and it’s very convenient that it’s near to my home. Everyone was very nice, and helpful. Had questions how to get my results and they help me a lot. Highly recommended. You do have to make an appointment but it’s also easy as well

Went on computer to make appointment, filled out info for my 9:33 appointment...got there...no doctor. Nice, maybe the website should have posted that vital information. It’s corporate I was told, they run the website. So corporate, how about being considerate and finding a way to inform patients there is no doctor.

Went for Covid rapid test. Everyone was really nice and explained procedure. They called within an hour of test with results that were positive. Tom explained everything and was very informative and kind. Everyone was very kind. Thank you.

The entire staff at Docs Urgent Care in East Haven were all very professional and patient. Easy access to the website and when you arrive coming into the facility. The doctor giving the CoVid rapid test was so knowledgeable, patient, helpful and on time. She was truly the most dedicated and professional doctor!!

I struggled with their system; making the appointment, calling, that kinda thing. But walking in? People in East Haven location were fabulous! Friendly, courteous, prompt, organized! Now if they could just get their website/phone working properly

Went to get COVID rapid results test--twice. Since we are in a pandemic, I cant fault the clinic for my hours-long process. The staff were organized, friendly and efficient. I found out I was positive and they were respectful and discrete, gave me good instructions.The second time (retest after quarantine) was faster and better organized, staff still efficient. The best part of this clinic is their state of the art technology, which alerts you when they are ready for you.

Staff were welcoming and personable. Very well organized system to check in from my phone and then received text to come in for test. Most challenging part is scheduling an appointment which can only be accomplished between 12AM and 6 AM

Scheduled our COVID-19 test and completed paperwork online. Arrived a few minutes before our scheduled appointment and were greeted promptly. Techs were very personable and took our samples — told us to check back with front desk in 30 minutes. Went out for coffee and when we returned in 30 minutes they had our results. Overall we were very pleasantly surprised at how efficient and quick the whole process was.

I went to get tested, they cancelled my appointment. Then I made a different appointment the next day in the morning refused to take me in so what did I do? Make a different time appointment the same day, and they cancelled it too! I’ve been trying to get tested for 2 weeks and finally I get a new appointment (waited until midnight) since it’s all online....and the Dr. doesn’t show up....🤦🏽‍♀️ I heard west haven is better

Took my daughter for Covid-19 test. Made appointment same day, arrived and they were very pleasant and welcoming. In and out in 5 minutes, very easy process.

Fast, efficient covid antigen swab test. The wait was pretty long (2 hours) but spent all of it in my car talking with my husband so it wasn’t that bad. The test itself was quick, just a swab in the nose, not very far up or anything. And the result came in 30 minutes. Definitely doing this again if I need to be tested.

By far the WORST urgent care in the area. Wholly unprofessional staff..The doctor (if shes even there that day) has zero bedside manner and its an old crone who should have retired a generation ago. Youre better off chancing it and waiting at the ER for 14 hours than going here.

Arrived at 11:46AM for a walk-in COVID-19 test. Was checked-in by a very pleasant and professional medical assistant. Once the registration of name and medical information was completed, I was seated and with 8-10 minutes my name was called for the test. The PAC was very pleasant and professional. She thoroughly explained the test procedure, the accuracy of the test, and how long it would take for the test results to be available. The test was was completed. I waited in the parking lot for 25 minutes and returned to the desk and received my results again from the medical assistant and was out the door by 12:40PM. The overall experience was 5-star. I was completely satisfied.

Appointment for COVID was at 10:45 walked in exactly at 10:43. Gave her my information and she send me to stand on the black line. I was called as Im walking to the line. It was quick. East Haven is pretty good. If you get there early may have to wait in the car.

Was able to go right in at my scheduled time! It took only 10 min! Was very quick and painless!

I arrived at 9:00 with my son and was put on a very long list , at the time of sign in we were told 4 hour wait which turned into a 7-8 hour wait. Thankfully they were very organized , told us that they would send a text to us 10 minutes before testing and they were accurate . I did not have to stay all that time, was able to run errands , and sure enough when text came through , I got there in time and they took like they said they would , very thorough. Went back after 30 minutes for my results . I’d recommend 😁

They were quick, professional and worked to make this comfortable for my three year old.

Everything was great. The only thing that annoyed me was that when I arrived on time, I notified them through text as requested, and they responded with something like “we know you are here, and we will connect with you”. I waited for 15 minutes, then went in. It is not their process to reach back out to the patient when they want you inside.

The rapid COVID testing facilities are few and far between in this state. Given the high volume of people who come for testing at this location they did the best they could do. They were very well organized and handled the people with courtesy and consideration. Many folks were overwhelmed and frustrated with how long it took to get the test done. They had a system and they stuck to it. It works for now. I highly recommend that more test sites open throughout the state so people do not need to travel so far. Many were over an hour away, me being one of them. I arrived a half an hour before they opened and it still took 51/2 hours for me to get my test and results back. That is unacceptable when most of us needed to get back to work!! It was a day of hell that could of been avoided if the state would give more consideration to the problem. As more cases arise the need for testing facilities will continue to rise. Somebody needs to hear us!!!

Impossible to get a covid test here. Visited twice now only to have my appointment cancelled due to too many patients. I understand that only so many people can be seen in one day but they dont even bother to put your name on the list of appointments for the following day - they make you show up again to schedule another appointment. At this rate, itd be quicker to get a nursing degree and just test myself.

When I arrived for my covid test appointmentI responded to the text message That I was there.Message said someone will contact you.I was waiting in my car. Scheduled appointment for rapid COVID 19 test at 9:09AM, 12/26. Received email confirming appointment. My wife also booked appointment and was confirmed for 8:57AM. Arrived at site (East Haven) at 8:45AM. Parking lot had at least 10 cars with people waiting to be tested and after we arrived at least 5 more cars pulled in. My wife went into the facility and there was no signage or anyone to ask about “testing process”. We both received a text at the same time stating to come into building at scheduled time. My wife went in first, as well as approximately 10 other people who must have received the same text, still nobody inside and facility dark.at approximately 10AM I received a text stating this facility would be closed today.This was the most unprofessional, inconsiderate way to handle this situation and I will be reporting DOCS to the State of Connecticut Public Health Department.

This place is horrible. Their automated phone system is horrible. The reception has a bad attitude and doesn’t seem to want to be working there. The only good thing is the helpful doctors.

I feel bad for the staff. everyone and their mother shows up there starting at 730 am before they open and are there well until they close. the nurses are wonderful. the receptionist is a funny guy that made me feel welcome and even laugh despite how sick i felt. and the doctors and nurse practitioners are lovely. very nice, very professional, thorough.

I went for a covid test today and everything went smoothly. My appt was at 1040. Those whole process to an hour from waiting in line to checking in to receiving my results. The receptionist was helpful and very nice. I wish I had gotten her name so I could direct the compliment to her. I was there with my 5 year old grandson who also got tested and it was an easy process.

Notifications need to be streamlined.I was receiving notifications after my appointment that would have been helpful prior to my appt.

How are you going to allow people to make an appointment for 1:50 and then cancel the appointment after the person has been waiting for over an hour.I drove an hr to get a rapid test and was waiting in the virtual queue when I got a text that was appt was cancelled. They were running behind and wouldnt get to me. No lets get you rescheduled or lets try squeezing you in. It was ya sorry...were unable to see you. ApologiesI get everyone is booked up and I appreciate the work they do, but this is a corporate issue. Dont schedule people that late in the day if you know you will most likely be late.

Horrible!! I have a child with autism- so I went online to schedule an appointment (as he can’t wait for a long time). I drove over an hour- despite having two locations closer to me- just because I was able to make an appointment here.I arrive at the appointment and they tell me “they aren’t honoring appointments” and they put me in as a walk in... I explain my situation... and they remained steadfast that we’d be put at the end of the queue.It’s hard enough to plan with a special needs child- without intolerant places like this.

Easy appointment application for testing available on line and short time for testing

I’ve gone twice now for COVID tests. Their online portal is super helpful but the check ins for your appointments don’t work. Once I figured that out I was in and out in 5 minutes.

My coworker in myself needed to get a rapid test for covid-19. We both traveled a great distance. The line was very long and it was getting close to the cut off time.A young Latino women and Im sorry I didnt get her name came out and took charge and got everyone tested that was in line. To me she went well above and beyond her duty and that is a credit to her and your organization.Thank you again.

I have been trying to reach this facility for the past three months to obtain my medical records. Other facilities have faxed over medical records requests along with release of information forms signed by me, with no response. The East Haven location literally NEVER answers their phone. NEVER... I’ve been transferred to other locations, I’ve spoken with the administrative office, I’ve left messages with no call back...I need to see a specialist, that will not even schedule an appointment without these records.NOW, this is holding up my medical care.

The staff gets 5 stars!!!Friendly, courteous and professional.Only reason for not giving Docs 5 stars was the wait time ( 4 hours) which I am well aware is due to the current pandemic

I’m not sure why so many people are excusing the long lines. The waits are long and there is little information and no way to contact a human. At this stage I’m not sure why there are still excessive lines for testing.

Went for a COVID test. Made an appointment online and showed up early. Went inside when there were 3 people in front of me and was done before my appointment time. Went back 30 min later (just before they locked the door for lunch) and got my results. Quick and easy. Last time i tried to get a test it was a 5 hour wait! So much easier now!

Everyone was so kind and helpful. Definatelyimproved now that appointments required for Civid tests. Had a little trouble with portal but live chat and emailed with tech support and they straightened it all out!

*Edit: While I completely standby every amazing thing about the nurses, we have since found out that the physician told us completely false information about the types of tests and what we needed. We followed what our towns health department told us instead.*Original: This place was extremely busy with a line of people waiting to get covid tested. There was no doubt a long wait for me and my toddler, and my toddler was running out of patience in the line to sign in. But after signing in we were able to wait outside away from everyone else, we were told we would receive a text or call when it was our turn. The office has a sign that they are shut down from 12-1(I assume for lunch but am unsure) and we were there well into that time.We went inside around when I thought it would be our turn and waited there. A man came in and was extremely rude to the nurse sitting at the desk. The nurse explained to him that they couldn’t take any more patients for testing that day but she told him they had several other locations he can go to instead, one just 5 minutes away. He scolded her loudly in front of a busy waiting room. She was so nice and never raised her voice or gave him attitude back. As he went to leave I told him that he should try being nicer to the team at the next place and then I apologized to the nurse for his behavior and thanked her for all that she was doing for all of us waiting.We are living in scary times right now, I thank all of the wonderful staff at this location for taking care of me and my family. They were all so nice even though it was clear that they have had many crazy days trying to help all of us that need to get covid tested.

Took a covid test for free. Waited 45 minutes and 30 minutes for results and around here thats good. Was not bad at all and the nurses were super nice!!! Thanks everyone for making this such a comfortable experience.

This was my first visit ever & I was very pleased with the service. The primary care doctor was so helpful & was such a sweetheart. She made sure she did all she can to make me feel at ease. Also, the guy who had took my X-rays was very humorous and made every minute waiting count. I’m even thinking about using them as my primary care. Way To Go Guys !!

During this difficult time, this office has a lot of stress put upon them. But with that being said they were very kind, explained everything and followed up promptly. I appreciate all their efforts to keep us all safe during this pandemic.

Service once I got in was good but there was quite a back up waiting in parking lot 33 ahead of me took 4 1/2 hours perhaps a scheduling for Covid testing could be helpful. I did try to call but no answer. Needed test to see new grandchild so I had to wait.

PLEASE READ BEFORE WASTING YOUR TIME: This is a review more of the system used by all of the facilities in this chain, but ye need to be told. If youre looking for a COVID test here, you either already know or are about to find out how terrible the website is. After spending hours loading appointment slots at various locations, we got them for 2:31 and 2:39 today at Stratford (todays a Saturday). You get NO EMAIL OR TEXT CONFIRMATION of your appointment - you have to screenshot it. We did get a phone call reminder last night. We showed up to our appointments only to be told by the person at the front desk that the last test they do at the weekends is 2:10, and the system was incorrect in allowing us to book appointments past that time. Presumably the same is true on weeknights - that if your appointment is scheduled too close to the offices closing time, your appointment is invalid.I had called up that location the previous day and the person I spoke to confirmed my appointment times, so even their staff are out of the loop with a lot of the details they should have. Absolutely maddening. An older lady was in the same boat as us, just standing there with jaw (presumably, but obscured by mask) dropped that this care provider would use such a sh*tty system with known flaws and not even take the proactive step of reaching out to patients whod booked unavailable appointments. They get something like $195 even from uninsured patients from the federal government, so theres really no excuse for not having more efficient and sophisticated systems in place when youre making that much money literally every three minutes. And theres no way the person at the front desk is being paid enough to have to tell worried patients that they just drove 40 minutes for nothing. Shameful.

Specifically making it a point to never come here again. they clearly can’t communicate with patients.today i went in to have a covid test, checking online first that they accepted walk ins and what time they would be open. sure enough, it said online, no appointment needed and open by 8:00AM. i got there at 7:45AM and waited outside in the rain only to find out that they wouldn’t open until 8:30AM and would not be taking walk ins. whenever you do try to book an appointment online, it bumps you out. it is impossible to get tested herefurthermore, i came to docs over TWO MONTHS ago for reasons unrelated to covid. i had blood work done, and they told me to come back in a week to get my results. when i returned, they didn’t have them for me and told me to call back the next day. i tried calling more times than i can count over the span of a week and it was impossible to get in contact with anyone. no one answered nor returned my calls. so now i am here, well over 2 months later and i still don’t have access to the results from my blood work. to add insult to injury, when i was seen at that appointment two months ago, the doctor who saw me was incredibly rude and made implications that were absolutely uncalled for. he implied that i was using drugs and sleeping around, and that that was the reason i was ill. there was no reason to suggest these things about me. i live with my mother who is high risk, and i take care of my elderly grandparents, who are also at high risk in this pandemic. i would not be so careless in a million years to go sleeping around or partying. that would be putting my family’s lives at risk. i was so offended and so appalled by the way the doctor treated meon top of all of that, they did not submit my insurance properly and i ended up receiving a bill of $1600 for the results that i still have absolutely no access to.do yourself a favor, find literally any other place to be seen besides docs of east haven.

Extremely difficult to get Covid testing here even though advertised as a testing facility. After attempting to make an appointment I received a message that all appointments are booked (I get it cases are on the rise, everyone is trying to get tested). The message also said however that you can walk in and the site indicated only 4 people ahead of me. When I arrived to “walk in” I was told it’s by appointment only. When I asked how to make an appointment I was yelled over and was not given an actual answer. If you’re lucky enough to get an appointment, maybe the service is fine but it was very disorganized and unprofessional.

Needed a Covid test for my son to be able to return back to school… Scheduled it and his father took him for it but then we could not get the results online and you cannot reach a person by phone. So then he went back to the clinic but could not get an answer from anyone there. Still don’t have the Covid results. Then I got a survey asking about my experience with the number to call with any complaints and it was the same automated phone tree that goes nowhere. Unbelievably poor service, and I am a healthcare provider myself.

Went to get a Dot physical done....they decided to give me an ekg....came back with some numbers of concern....first of all the dont tell you about this test secondly the doctor tells you that if you dont want to take the test hell fail you....well thats not true ... He says this but its totally illegal thats called coercion ...coercion is against the law they will be hearing from my attorney... Im out of a job of over 12 years... he decides to fail me on my Dot test...dont go to this place unless you want to have your life destroyed....no good mf...

I had COVID testing done here after returning from a trip to FL. I had a great experience here. The staff was very friendly, helpful and good at their jobs. The testing was done in a very organized and timely manner.

This relates to the new milford practice. We booked online. Arrived on time. Only to find the place locked. We saw dozens of other dissatisfied clients arrive and wait only to be disappointed. A waste of our time and resulted in us having to delay plans. NOT the promise of DOCS.

I really got taken care of very nicely yesterday everyone is so pleasant

I have gone here 2 times. The first time was to get an x-ray and they switched my xray with someone elses showing me another patients results. The next was to get a test and they never ended up giving me the results of this test though charged me for it.The DOCs in North Haven on Universal Dr. is really great and not too far. Worth taking the extra time to go to the North haven clinic

I am appalled at the treatment my daughter and I received from this medical facility today..this location is open until 4 pm..we arrived at 330...my daughter stood in line in reception until 340 understandably there were a few people ahead of her..when it was her turn she was turned away because they said it was too late and the dr was too busy making phone calls to give people there covid results..I then went inside and asked why if they are open until 4 why they are still not seeing patients until that time..it was clear by the answers I was receiving that the staff just wanted to go home..I understand it stinks working Sundays but this is unprofessional..all we needed was a urine test for a uti then get antibiotics...they tried to direct us to a north haven walk in..I said that was not acceptable when I live right down the st from this location and we are the only patients in here! I have heard negative things from a few people about this location and unfortunately now believe that they were all correct..so if you are in need of medical assistance you better make sure its the middle of the day or you will get no help .... this is disgusting behavior on the part of docs urgent care and I would love to be able to bring this higher up..I noticed only positive reviews get a response from management so im not holding my breath

In this critical time people are stressed and rude to those who are trying to help us. I️ am so throughly impressed and thankful for the entire staff on for 8/10/2020 as they were efficient and so friendly and sweet even though they’re becoming overworked, I’m sure overwhelmed, and being spoken to bordering on abusively. They don’t get to take a lunch because of the amount of work they have in front of them.Thank you DOCS of East Haven for all you are doing. It’s appreciated!

In spite of all the necessary COVID precautions, the appt was was on time, the people were lovely and kind. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DOCS Urgent care.
