Easy to make an appointment, the staff is fantastic and friendly. Dr.Mac is professional and personable. Steady and light handed, I could barely feel the novocaine needle and he kept me updated all throughout the work. Reasonable prices and payment options.

Dr. WU did my cleaning and filling she was great! Highly recommended. She did not rush and she took her time walking and talking me through the whole procedure. Her communication made me very comfortable.

I had a wonderful experience with my dental cleaning with the Dental Hygienist Linda. She was very friendly knowledgeable and compassionate with my special needs and did an excellent job cleaning my teeth, taking my X-rays and understanding my unique circumstances explaining them to the Dentist so the Dentist and I came up with the right plan for my teeth. I highly recommend Linda for a Dental Hygienist and DR Dental! Everyone that I have dealt with there is very kind friendly and helpful!!

Dr. Dental in East Haven gave me a great experience. I went there at the end of May. My dental hygienist, Linda made me feel comfortable and made my experience great. She showed me how passionate she was with her work and to better my overall health. I would recommend her to my friends and family. I would like her again the next time I come to the office. She is gentle and kind. I learned information that I didn’t know before. She is amazing!

I took my mother here a few days ago, you can tell they were very busy, however we were greeted and seated immediately by Danyela, the dental assistant who was with us every step of the way. Not only did she thoroughly informed us of the procedure but she actually took the time to make sure we were comfortable and all of our questions were answered. She introduced us to Dr Wu, who was also very gentle with my mother. All in all you can tell these 2 love what they do! Thank you

Dr. McCarther is amazing as always. I did have a huge issue reception and was actually told not to come back originally and to find another dentist going forward. I did say a few choice words to the receptionist due to an issue that they were refusing to fix that was on them. When I called back a 3rd time I ended up speaking to a woman in the back office by front doors when you first enter the back on the right hand side, unfortunately didnt catch her name and should of as she resolved the issue, but the pregnant receptionist needs a class or 2 in customer service, had she handled the situation differently I wouldnt of said a few choice words before leaving there in tears. If it wasnt for her setting off my mental health problems I would have actually gave you guys 5 stars.

The entire staff at Dr. Dental is kind, knowledgeable, and very patient-friendly. Dr. Mac is a great dentist! Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, but hes also patient and compassionate. He explains what hes doing as hes doing it as to ease any anxiety I have of being at the dentist. All of the dental assistants are very kind as well, especially Tara! One of the things that I really appreciated on my first visit was being informed by both the dentist as well as the administrative assistant what my treatment plan looked like and what I could expect down the road. They even offered to help me fill out the application for CareCredit, given that I dont have dental insurance. Overall, I give them five stars for doing a really good job, especially when it comes to customer service. So glad that I made the decision to switch over to Dr. Dental.

First time going here. Great experience. My children both got in the same day, and normally they scream! They didn’t scream at all, everyone who took care of us was very professional and the vibe was nice.

First it was the online forms that weren’t supposedly filled then realized they had them. Now waiting for an hour with 2 other people ahead of my dad but they took patients that had just walked while my dad was waiting. Again for an hour my dad was waiting until he got fed up by horrible service and left. Is this how you treat patients? I understand waiting up to 20 minutes but an hour is ridiculous. Maybe don’t book more than can be handled. So blinded by money that they seeing patients as piggy banks not human being with real issues.

Service was great except for the paperwork that I had to fill out. For some reason they did not send to me ahead of time like they were supposed to

Honestly the best experience I’ve had with a dentist. I was really nervous about seeing a dentist, but Dr Mac and his staff are all incredibly welcoming. Everyone is happy to be there and that made me feel safe! He has done a beautiful job so far and I am incredibly grateful!

I have an extremely bad case of fear and anxiety from past dental experiences, I let the young woman I spoke to when booking first appointment know and she was amazing herself calming over the phone assuring that many patients have the same issues. From the moment I walked in till the moment I left on my first appointment I was made to feel at ease. Not one unkind word, very patient and very calming.. The whole team that came in from set up to finish was amazing. I then took my son to them and he was extremely nervous as his first appointments were scary and nerve wracking because of the he was spoken to (in the past other place) He went for routine check up e.t.c and was asking to come again the next day! That in itself was impressive. He was so relieved and relaxed with whom he saw and is more then willing to go again. Next time wont be a fight. He even told his younger siblings that they are soooooooo soooooo nice and that they should go soon and have fun. I have some work myself that needs to be done and I am honestly nervous about it but not nervous about going or about the care I will get.. I would highly recommend Dr. Dental to anyone that is looking for dentist or wanting to change dentists. I do not want to put names in regards to who was on the dental team as I do not want to leave anyone out. All of them were polite, calming, and courteous.

I have never had as good an experience at the dentist in my life. Dr. MacArthur is great. He explains fully what youre up against and does wonderful work. Roselee was the assistant today and did a great job. Bianca at the front desk is a joy to deal with. It was terrible. Dr Dental just cleaned the front area of my teeth. Didnt do the left side of my teeth at all. I guess you have to have insurance in order to get a great cleaning. The dentist cleaning my teeth made me feel like a total waist of her time. Then the receptionist was trying to convince me of thier knowledge. Big time scam of a business. If you dont have insurance dont take that 57.00 offer its a scam.

I needed a fast appointment as a tooth broke in half.I was able to het in the same day I called.I had been a previous Dr.Dental patient on Church st in NH,but I live in Branford so the a.m. appointment in EH was better for me and I did not have to wait.I have intentions of staying with the EH office as the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the Dr.explained the process as she moved along during the extraction.2nd visit ,cleaning xrays,follow up on extracted tooth.Dr.Wu is very sweet and caring,explains as she goes along making me feel very comfortable.the tech who was helping was exceptionally nice.Absolutely will return .

I will never ever come to this place again it is located in East haven in shoprite plaza! The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional! Her name was Bianca I came in on a Saturday after having a procedure on Wednesday and wanted to speak to someone I can get clinical advice from regarding my procedure she told me I needed an appointment to speak to anyone clinical, then stated she was the only one there no one else was there to speak to me ..I feel like as an receptionist she should not be able to give clinical advice she stated she’s been doing this 11years I’m guessing that’s why she feels so Entitled.. long story short I had the police called on me for asking to speak with someone else besides her someone actually clinical and not a receptionist!!. that is the face of your establishment and it’s nasty and rude

Dr Karr is AMAZING!!! I had deep cleaning under my gums and no pain during procedure and no pain after medication wore off, If you need work done with no pain, see Dr. Karr. She is incredible!!!

I actually switched to Dr dental recently because its close to home and im very satisfied!For the couple negative reviews, everyone is entitled to their opinion but it sounded to me that the entitled receptionist tried to help the best she could in the absence of a dentist. People have to remember that things r different and more difficult with the covid protocols still in place and Theyre doing the best they can. Id ask anyone that goes there or other medical or dental offices to keep that in mind.

I was very wary and worried about going to the dentist and put it off far longer than I should have. This path of bad oral hygiene led me to Dr. Dental and specifically Dr. Kaur , who I must say is a master at her craft of Dentistry. I had to see her on multiple occasions for multiple types of procedures, the fault is my own for my poor Oral Hygiene. I am an anxious person when it comes to the dentist but Dr. Kaur is very gentle and caring and exceeded ALL of my expectations.Also, The staff in charge of making appointments are super friendly and easy to talk with, I was always happy after hanging up from a call with Dr. Dental staff.As my grandfather would say : Be true to your teeth or they will go false on you.Be true to your teeth and go see Dr. Kaur at Doctor Dental of East Haven right away!!!Thank you Dr. Kaur for restoring my teeth and with it, my confidence. 10 stars!!!!! Unfortunately like most people on this thread I have to change my review. I’ve had it. The last straw with this place screwing me over with an unexperienced staff. They literally don’t know what their talking about. The service Deff done down in the last 3 years and they lost my service.

I think it is also worth mentioning that they get things done efficiently while also taking the time to ensure that you get the best service possible. Very clean and professional environment. I had to schedule for the latest appointment they had due to work and even then I had to call to let them know I would be in a few minutes later. No hassle, very pleasant. They made me feel more at ease being that I don’t feel comfortable being at the dentist due to past experiences. They treated us with the same kindness walking in as well as when we walked out. Recommend 100%
