I need to preface this review with a little history, I have anxiety and trusting someone to cut my hair is very difficult. I dont usually see the same hairdresser more than once because I never leave with the haircut I envisioned. Im a first time client here, I booked a last minute haircut before my camping trip using Googles book online feature one day in advance. I havent been to supercuts in years because of an experience from another location and the simple philosophy of you get what you pay for... but I decided to give this one a try.I believe my hairdressers name was Jazmin, she promptly greeted me upon entering while she finished up with a client, then took a second with me to get me checked in. After her client left she thoroughly sanitized her station and welcomed me to sit down. Im usually very timid but she was easy to talk to and she was very communicative asking questions to understand exactly how I wanted my hair cut. I needed a lot. I had a bob cut from last year that had grown out so the hair needed to first be cut to the same length, then layered. She also asked if Id like to frame my face so we did that. The other thing I wanted was an undercut with a simple design. Again she asked questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. She never rushed me, she understood what I wanted and I left feeling so good about the experience I decided to leave this review! I will definitely be a repeat client for Jazmin, thank you so much!

Great customer service but wasnt happy when I went home and the next day I saw a lot of long hairs still it was a easy cut just shaved my hair off and still had long hairs wasnt happy honestly

Id seen reviews that Melissa and Nicole were great. I scheduled with Melissa for the context of this review. My expectations were exceeded as Melissa was friendly, knowledgeable, and technically skilled. Id recommend her and will definitely be returning to this Supercuts.

She switched my hair from red to a dirty blonde and made my hair look flawless even with how hard it can be to take red out. I love it. Thank you a million times. Both my daughters hair came out perfect also and I appreciated your kindness and the patience with my kids.

We recently paid a visit to Supercuts in East Haven. The ladies were awesome! Julie cut & flat ironed my hair, she did an amazing job! I have very long hair and she took good care of it. Later that evening I brought my son back for a cut. Hes 6 and complimented Julie the whole time about how great she was!Highly recommended! They listen and clearly are experienced.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Julie for a while now, she’s the best, always knows exactly how to cut and style my hair without me having to tell her. The staff makes you feel very welcomed. My son finally convinced me to get my hair done here. I usually go to a high end salon and was a little apprehensive. I have to say, what a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcomed. They took he time to find out how I wanted my hair. I came out looking better than that fancy place I use to go to. Im so happy, and highly recommend going there. So worth it.

I have been going to Supercuts in East Haven for the past several years. The staff is really nice. I usually have Julie cut my hair and I am never disappointed. She always does what I ask and even suggests new styles for me. My overall experience has been very positive.😊

Called early on a Monday to make appt with Julie, the manager for a specific time. When I arrived I was greeted by two hairdressers who told me Julie was not there and would not be there till later. I told them since it was a windy rainy day I would have appreciated a heads up on the appt. I needed a haircut and blow dry so they said 20 min. NoOne was there but the two women they were working on. After 40 min I decided to leave. TERRIBLE Customer service!!

So far there are only two people on the planet that know how to cut my hair the right way and Melissa at Supercuts in East Haven in Trolley Square is definitely one of them!

Unfortunately I had a very uncomfortable haircut at this Supercuts recently. The employees were arguing (apparently the stylist cutting my hair has a history of not answering the phone or greeting customers?), and the stylist was being rude to me while also being quite rough with my head. Would not recommend. My haircut is unfortunate as well.

The beautician was excellent. She did my hair just like I wanted it.Its under new ownership. The price I paid nearly quadrupled since I was last in. Ridiculous. Absurd.This is an elder resident location. We havent money to spend such high prices for a hair cut.I doubt Ill be in again.

Went for a hair cut the other day. Wanted Layers Girl who did my hair didnt cut much off and the sides are uneven and not even layerd. she didnt even blow dry it or comb it after cut Just tossed it around with her fingers. I WILL never go back to this place I am so upset with my hair cut.

I had a haircut here few months ago and it was a bad experience the young girl who cut my hair didnt know what to do she was clearly inexperienced. She was very nice and polite but she did a really bad work. The place is clean and bathroom clean as well. Hopefully they will hire more competent people.

Take my 83 yr old mom to get her hair cut and styled. Crystal takes good care of her.

The staff was nice. The place was clean there was a little wait time bc they were busy but both my mom and my daughter loved their haircuts so we will definitely be returning.

My girlfriend and I went for a haircut today I didnt have a problem with mine. But, the girl who did my girlfriends come out awful. She asked for layers and she chopped off the sides. I must say it is a terrible haircut. I dont think it can be fixed without cutting it real short, my girlfriend is very upset. Any suggestions? We have been here before but thinking twice about it now. If these hairdressers have not had enough experience then they should not be working!

My daughter and I have only gotten wash, cuts, and, styles and always had positive experiences. Quite honestly, I dont see much difference than high priced salons. And trust me, Im VAIN!

Just went to Supercuts in East Haven the other day. I just wanted to say what a fantastic experience I had. I was a little apprehensive at first, but Im so glad I took the chance. I usually get my hair cut and colored at an expensive high end salon. I just didnt have the money to go there this time. The staff at Supercuts made me feel so welcomed, and what a pleasent atmosphere. My stylist really took the time to ask me questions on what I wanted. (They really care) as a result, I walked out with a georgous cut, and my color was spot on perfect. And I paid half the cost of the place I usuallygo to. The best though is when they took the time to show me how maintain my style at home, and recommended a couple great products that was perfect for my hair type.I would recommend This Supercuts to anyone.

Good enough for a government hair cut, but only one staff member really stands out and shes my wifes favorite.

NO A/C VERY HOT AND UNCOMFORTABLE COULD NOT EVEN GET MY HAIR BLOW DRYED I WAS TOO HOT! MY HUSBAND WAS THERE TUESDAY AND I RHOUGHT IT WOULD BE FIXED BY TODAY FRIDAY!

In a word scary. New to the area and I had this lady cut my hair, and a simple trim I swear took an hour that usually takes 15 min tops. She seemed like she didnt have any idea of what she was doing. Scary, I wanted to jump off the chair.

Won’t even give star if possible. Pathetic customer service. I had appointment for 3 pm, I reached exactly at 3 pm.M, but none of the hair stylists were free. They had just taken a “walk-in” customer. I waited 30 mins, when I walked out after that, no one even apologized for what happened. Will never go there again.

Horrible my hairdresser cut me without experience I left very upset and after expensive price it was very disappointing 😭
