I was traveling & needed my old lenses transferred into my sun glasses b/c my new prescription was hurting my eyes and giving me headaches. Optyx was the only place open on a Saturday morning. When I called ahead, they said come in and they would help if they could. When I got there, Jesse, the manager immediately changed the lenses. Then I browsed and chatted with him and another man working there. Both were as nice and helpful as they could possibly be. I ended up buying eyeglass frames which I love. Highest recommendation for Optyx!!

Mary is the kindest. I walked in over the summer, with glasses that did not come from Optyx, but needed a quick fix. Well, within five minutes is was all done and Mary was the kindest. Great customer service for sure!Thanks Mary, you are the best!

Test was done on Monday at 3 PM and I didn’t have the prescription till Wednesday night and had to make 2 calls to finally get the prescription. Disappointed with the service.

This is a courteous, high-end place with competent staff and a smooth process for getting you through your optometric appointments.They dont take VSP. In fact, Im not sure what insurance they DO take, when it comes to frames and lenses. You should expect to pay full price ($300-$400) for glasses unless you have really outstanding coverage.The whole focus of the optometric exam is fitting you out for glasses, preferably more than one pair. Theyre not overly concerned with your optical health -- which was fine with me, because I hate how much time that stuff sucks up.Im quite glad theyre around.

Mary Kate Mcnally is simply the best! She took the time to help me find the perfect piece of eye wear and was extremely fast in delivering the final product. I was in from out of town and in a bind and she truly went out of her way to treat me with the utmost amount of respect and professionalism. If youre a local or out of town Mary Kate and OPTYX is the way to go!

I went in for a glasses adjustment and found the nicest glasses shop in East Hampton. Friendly, kind staff; a formidable selection of glasses (next time Im in the market, this is my first stop); and a gratis service of adjustment for all my bent-out-of-shape sunglasses without a word of complaint. It was service with a smile during a time when most retailers are worked to the bone. If OPTYX can make a free service so pleasant, I can only imagine how much you get when you actually pay for it.

Just rec’d my new prescription eyewear... perfection! 1st time here, 1st time I ever didn’t need to go back for an adjustment on a new pair of glasses. And, lens are top notch!

I went to Optyx in East hampton to get my glasses re adjusted after someone had stepped on them. The sales associate I spoke to was professional and polite on the phone. When I arrived at the store she greeted me and took my temperature to make sure everyone was healthy.After she took my glasses in the back and adjusted them perfectly.This was the most pleasant customer experience I’ve had. I will definitely be returning to Optyx for all eye wear needs out East.

I left my Ray-Ban sunglasses outside this store and thought for sure theyd be gone. But amazingly, Mary Kate at Optyx found them and returned my call. She graciously mailed them to me and only charged me the postage. Fantastic service! Id highly recommend this store.

Today I went into Optyx in East Hampton. One of the plastic nose pads had broken on my glasses. I had not purchased my glasses there, but I will definitely go back next time I need new glasses! Mary Kate was absolutely delightful. She happily replaced both nose pads and couldnt have been nicer. The eyeglass selection is amazing and the customer service is the same. Thank you, Mary Kate!

I couldn’t be more thankful. The OPTYX staff helped me by cutting a pair of lenses the same day after another store screwed up. I was a first time customer and was stuck in a jam. The service at the store was extremely prompt and the pricing was great. I will be back to buy a new pair of glasses very soon. I noticed that OPTYX carries very impressive stock and the prices for their high quality frames were less than other optical stores that I’ve been to. I give the store a 5 since my experience was excellent and for their nice inventory and very good pricing.
