If you are looking for an ultrasound tech school to become a physical therapy assistant, then you have come to the right place. As a Rehab technology specialist now, I have had the opportunity to apply all the stuff taught here. These guys provide in-depth knowledge of the exercises, massage, hydrotherapy, etc., to help you do a thorough job. These skills will help you get employed as soon as you are done with the course.

When my twin and I were looking at technical schools in Rhode Island, little did we know that there were so many courses to choose from. While we may be twins, our tastes are vastly different. One of the things we really liked about NEIT was the diversity of programs tehy offer. I’m currently studying drone and robotics while my bro is working on his architecture degree. Overall, we’re both pumped!

This is one of the comprehensive vet tech program Rhode Island has to offer. After completing my associate degree, I was hired by the Wildlife Rehabilitators Association. Since they had only a part-time job on offer at that moment, I quickly grabbed it, knowing that this would give me the time to complete my bachelors program too. With the deep dive into anesthesiology, emergency, critical care, human-animal bond, etc., I am looking forward to the last two terms of the program that will require us to practice in our specific area of interest. My area of interest is exotic birds. Love it!

I’ve been a car fanatic for as long as i can remember. Looked at a lot of mechanic schools near me and decided to go with NEIT based on their course offerings. If fixing cars and custom paint jobs are your thing, this is for you. Really happy I decided to go here. If you want to study to be an auto technician, this is THE course.

Avoid this for-profit school! Go to ANY other trade school. They canceled my student loans without my knowledge. I got pulled out of class several times in the beginning of my semester and was told to go to the bursars office, once I got there no one could tell me what was going on with my account and they told me to try the registrars office. Same thing, no one could tell me why I was getting pulled out of class or what was going on with my account. Everything looked fine they said. After about 3 weeks of that and getting zero info...I stopped getting pulled out of class and at the end of the semester I got a $5000+ bill. Theyve been suing me for it for the past 8 years. Everytime Ive gone to court theres always atleast 10 other people there who had the same thing happen to them. Do yourself a favor and find an apprenticeship instead of wasting your money at this school.

Though I was looking to be a professional welder, my initial ideas of what it involved were rather simple. But looking at the in-depth program here, I was impressed with the technicalities covered in the course. I was recently promoted to Supervisor, courtesy of the information I gained from NEIT.

I’m sorry i wish i could say something positive about this school but they make this school look better than what it actually is. the administration is horrible they never call back when they tell you that they will. they’re so irresponsible and they’re not helpful. this school is very money hungry it is a nice campus but not worth the stress i went through just for one semester. pick a better college!

If you are here looking for surgical tech programs, then you have landed at THE PLACE. My daughter opted for this program two years ago, and thanks to her experience and positive feedback, this year, my son is signing up for this same program.

I can not recommend enough not to go here. The administration is a joke, the amount of absolute asinine rules that are put on place make this place nearly unbearable. If you’re considering this school please put your money elsewhere. You’ll be charged $40,000 a year just to have a sub par education. Food is said to be good but is close to inedible. Internet speed gets slowed to a crawl on a daily basis. This place is beyond untransparent when it comes to any serious information that you need. Go somewhere else.

Little long worth the read, would give 1 Star if I could. I was so excited to enter the Business Management program here. My associates went OK. This was when there were no dorms so I was driving from Worcester MA all the way to East Greenwich RI. Thinking this school was worth it. Decided to go for my bachelors in business because I was told it was a degree in entrepreneurship. They changed the objective and course after I signed up!!! Its objective now is Team Management (or was before I left). Im sorry but who is willing to pay $50,000 OR MORE for a degree in team management. Ladies and gents there are much better tech colleges out there. Im sorry I learned the hard way but at least I can let others know.

The school is a for profit college. Most of the classes are underfunded and lack a decent amount of materials. You meet the same professors for a multitude of the courses. All of the learning done is by either google searching or reading old an outdated materials such as books and software. There is a few staff in the building that actually know what they are doing and even fewer that have connections that they can use to make the college students experiences fun. If you arent naturally gifted in the degree you applied for youll end up slacking behind in your classes for that degree. You will also find that there is little focus on teaching but alot of focus on them expecting you to just go and teach yourself. Most of the expenses for this college is either pocketed or spent on adding in frivolous things like more fish for the fishing pool or more carpet/ glass flooring. The courses are rarely focused outside of the nursing program which seems to be their bread and butter. You can also find many students regretting attending that college, at least out of the 20 I asked about their experiences there. If you are looking for a tech-college thatll teach you, this isnt for you. I suggest going to Full-Sail Uni instead.

I started going to New England Institute of Technology in 2014 for an AS in electronics and continued on to a BS in electrical engineering technology. Some of the things I like about NEIT is that they have small class sizes and that lets the instructors to have more time with each student. I also like that there is a small number of instructors in my technology. This allow the instructors and the students to get to know each other. It was nice to have some of the same instructors taught in both degrees.

Im not sure quite how to begin this very unfortunately negative review, I am going to keep it short and simple. Its just not worth the money at all, even if you have parents that are paying for you or military grant. There are so many other options out there that will give you more of the hands on training and information that you will actually used. These course are cheaper and much shorter, opposed to 2 years where 80% of what you learned and payed for is non applicable. Find apprenticeship programs, certificate programs, on the job training or something along those lines. Please take this review and the other negative reviews posted here into extreme consideration before deciding to apply to this school. One last thing, EVERYONE gets accepted into this school. I believe there was another review that said something along the lines of, This is where the community college rejects go. I can validate that persons review and say that is entirely true. If you are a parent reading this, please take this into consideration if you are thinking about sending your child to this school

Youre better off watching YouTube videos on your trade then wasting your money on this place to hardly learn anything about your trade. Youll have one day a week of a class that actually pertains to your major of which half will be in a class and the other half hands on. Classes feel rushed, instructors are often late or end classes much earlier than they are supposed to run, take phone calls or text in class, use very vulgar language and talk about inappropriate topics and dont give enough time to actually learn. You will be tested and graded on things that are not in your textbooks and were never taught to you or only taught once and didnt seem like it was anything significant enough to retain. You will be tested and graded on things that youve only had hands on experience doing for not even a half hour of one class. Its almost as though the instructors expect you to have the time and resources to teach yourself outside of class while going to school full time, working full time, managing to find time with your family and doing homework. Folks, I really wish I could leave a 0 star review about how much a joke this college really is.

By far one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. I attended this school for a year for automotive tech, didn’t learn hardly anything, and now they’re suing me because I never finished the program. TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO GO HERE. It’s appalling that they’re able to get away with this.

Good school, however the redhead at the front desk of the dorms has THE MOST disgusting aura. Horrible woman. Singles students out, condisending and extremely disrespectful. Flirts and smokes cigarettes by the door with students half her age, extremely unprofessional. During the only encounter that I was unlucky enough to have with her, every word out of her mouth carried an unpleasant tone that was honestly jarring... school cafeteria has great mozzarella sticks!!!

DONT GO TO THIS HORRIBLE SCHOOL AND DONT LET YOUR KIDS EVEN CONSIDER IT. I attended here for one semester where 70% of my classes were cancelled due to snow. I dropped out after that semester and started attending the New York Film Academy, where NEIT to this day claims that I owe $12,000 for the one semester I attended where I learned absolutely nothing. They don’t care about the value of my time I had there and are now suing me for all of the money that I owe them. This is is what they do. They pry you into attending so that no matter how you enjoy your experience you are going to owe them tens of thousands of dollars and they’ll send all of their lawyers after you if you don’t. They’re crooks and liars and in my opinion thieves.

NEIT is solid overall; each tech is great for preparing students for the workforce. Admissions and interdisciplinary administration certainly need improvement, as well as the math and English departments, but hopefully these issues will be squared away as NEIT transitions to a full-fledged university.

Worst school ever a complete scam just like all the other online and for profit schools you see on T.V. you will not find a good job. you will be in a mountain of debt. Many employers will flat out tell you they will not hire NEIT grads because the school is basically where community college rejects go. Auto body program a joke , the instructor was insulting and not helpful and pretty much convinced me to drop out by being dumb enough to admit most Auto body workers do not make much money and that i would be making minimum wage for a long time being a grunt before i could even move up slightly. that makes total sense lets waste 40k to make what a fast food employee makes. dont let their smooth talking recruiters(Liars/scam artists) that they send to your house convince you other wise that is their job to win you over by being nice and making you trust them. Bottom line never trust school recruiters any where you go actually do research before choosing and dont be dumb pick an actual school not this institution of thiefts that could care less about you convince you to attend there is always something more worth it out there youll regret it if you enroll here and have a mountain of debt with a useless degree

Very nice facility. Advisors are pretty useless. I work full-time so night time classes were an absolute must. My recruiter said that wouldnt be a problem untill of coarse I signed the dotted line and wasted half of this year on prerequisite classes. Now mechanical engineering is not available at night and Im stuck with usless credits that do not transfer. Just a waste of time and more importantly my MONEY!

The surgical tech classes here are just the best. The lab simulation sessions, accompanied by the instructions on surgical procedures and instruments, give you all the tools to succeed in an operating room environment. The instructors here spare no knowledge. This is not an easy program, but if you have serious career goals, then you’ll do what it takes. I am!!!
