Dr. Uhrik is an excellent dr. he is very experienced, thorough and knowledgeable. He is compassionate and takes his time to explain everything to the patient and family. Always goes above and beyond and has excellent bedside manners. As a nurse, he always treats us with the respect we deserve for taking care of his patients. He never acts bothered when we call him for orders no matter the time of the night. We need more people like him in the world!

Called several times to make an appointment for my 89yo Aunt that was having TIA’sYou never speak to the office and only an Answering Service that states that they will get back to you. After several attempts and messages, no call back. The Answering Service state’s that this is a common complaint. Not sure why an office does not give you the ability to speak to a secretary. Also unprofessional not to return a call.Found another Neurologist that has a wonderful office staff.

Nice person but I wouldn’t recommend him as a neurologist. He was my doctor when I was admitted to Raritan Bay Hospital with symmetric weakness in both hands and both feet. He tested me for MS, Lupus, Tick Bite, and even a Polio like disease. The last thing he tested me for was Guillian Barre Syndrome. (Even though that’s what the internal medicine doctor was concerned that I had) Unfortunately the diagnosis for GBS was positive but the delay in treatment caused the attack to progress rapidly. The attack stopped right before the nerves of my heart. I am lucky to be alive. It’s been 14 months and I am still not well. The sad thing is that before I went to the hospital I googled weakness in both hands and both feet and Guillian Barre Syndrome came up. Google diagnosed me in 1 minute because that is the only disease that causes rapid symmetric weakness in both hands and feet. It took Dr. Uhrik 8 days!

Took them one week and two messages to call me back and tell me they don’t take new patients but asked what was wrong with me. I would not go see this doctor now.
