See Marc Carangelo!!!About a year ago I started noticing the range of motion of my left shoulder was decreasing. Over the course of the past year I have seen three acupuncturists, three or four massage therapists, and one physical therapist. I tried to choose practitioners carefully and deliberately, some of them had more than 20 years experience. NONE of these practitioners helped me and several of them hurt me. I was paying people to hurt me! My condition only worsened and became increasingly painful over the course of the year. I saw Mark and in only one session he took me from less than 90° abduction to 180° and less than 90° forward flexion to 180°.Amazing! Unbelievable! Awesome! All with no pain!Please See this gifted and talented member of the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame. I cannot more strongly recommend him and his work! This is the best $85 I ever spent! My only regret is that I didn’t find him sooner!

This school gets five stars. All the staff here are amazing. The instructors are experienced and want to see you succeed. You get to spend half of your time in class getting massaged, whats better than that! Mark is a talented therapist who strives to ensure his students are the best. He will work with you to overcome any challenge. He has years of experience and students are learning from one of the best. Darcy, Mara, Jen are all top class instructors. You learn so much in a short period of time here and this school has set me up for success. I cant thank Mark enough for all he has taught me. And the student clinic.... I have just completed my second month of training. Mark is a gifted teacher and healer. I am currently a health care practitioner and have taken many continuing education courses. I can honestly say, without hesitation that Mark is by far, the BEST instructor I have experienced. Mark has a talent for communicating complex anatomy and physiology information in a simplistic , organized and non- intimidating manner. I am so lucky I choose this school. This school deserves 10 stars! After graduating in 2017 and starting to practice being around other therapists and comparing notes and schooling experiences I found that my education was top notch! You won’t find a more knowledgeable therapist in New Jersey than the owner Mark he really knows his stuff and shares it with passion every time. I love coming back for CEU’s and getting to learn from this master.P.S.-the student clinic even has spa quality rooms!

I was a student at AIAM and graduated feeling confident in my future.. 7 years later I’m a lead massage therapist at a high end spa! You wont find a better place for massage therapy... Mark is an excellent teacher who produces the most gifted students. I cant tell you how his school had helped my body pain. KUDOS MARK!!! I have been a student for just about six weeks now. I am learning so much. I happened to be visually impaired Marc and all the other teachers are very accommodating to make sure I learn and succeed just like any other student I am so glad I chose the school.

Visited many schools before choosing The American Institute of Alternative Medicine. Cant say enough good things about my experience. This was the perfect place to learn, get experience, and feel confident about the work I do.

If you are looking for an excellent education in massage therapy in a supportive atmosphere, then this is the place for you. Two big plusses: the students get to do an externship with the NY Jets and tuition is reasonable.
