My service dog and I were trained by Kaylas Paws several years ago and they are truly dedicated to helping those in need of a service dog. Through the training, they were always professional, always used/taught positive reinforcement methods, socialized the dogs, and came to us for the training. I saw another review on here were remarks were made about cancels frequently, which I disagree with, I had to cancel several time and so did the instructor but the sessions were always re-scheduled. They favor quality of training, they where much cheaper than anyone else. There was great communication and I could call or email any time with a fast response. My life is fuller due to Kaylas Paws and their trainer(s), especially David. They are A+ and I highly recommend them to anyone needing a service dog and training, you will be very happy!

I’m not sure why these other people are complaining. I have had nothing but a positive experience. The value is incredible. They beat all the other “trainers” by thousands of dollars. The head trainer is available 24/7 for questions or concerns. Highly recommended...

This many negative random reviews seem like spam due to their random one-stars. I have used Kaylas Paws services for how quality is better than quantity. They also value and respect both the dog and owner. They are punctual and they will call/message you if any delays occurs due to traffic or even if sick. I have learned a lot from this non-profit. But it is a waste of time that people who spam one-stars and leave no value to their opinions is a true spam. If one-stars are all the response they have, give an opinion, just dont waste time trying to spam a company or a non-profit or anything.

This happened some months ago... I did a meetup with another handler who had their dog trained through this organization. When we meet up the dog was muzzled which was already a huge red flag, a mesh muzzle at that (mesh muzzles are not made to be worn for long periods of time). When I asked I was told that it was the organizations policy. That was a surprise to me but I know organizations have their rules so I let it go. The entire time the dog was anxious and didn’t have a good heel. At one point we stopped to get some food we had the dogs under the table... the dog supposedly trained by this organization kept whining... then there was all these weird sounds and a tussle under the table... the other dog WENT AFTER MINE!!! Even with the mesh muzzle on it went after mine growling and snarling even pinning my dog down. Thank God it was muzzled because I cannot imagine what might’ve happened had it not been muzzled. My dog was washed this week due to the intense fear that the incident caused. I continued to keep the other handler updated on the situation I was eventually blocked by that handler after my trainer made the decision to wash Ridley. so I decided to look a little more into this organization and just from looking at the photos of all the dogs wearing mesh muzzles tells me that the dog was most likely from this organization. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! This trainer doesn’t seem to be washing any dogs even if reactivity or aggression or overly fearful. I really hope that this isn’t the trainer themselves but rather some form of miscommunication or mistake on the handlers part but after reading the other reviewers I can only conclude there’s either miscommunication between the handlers and the trainers or the trainer is not using up to date training methods and not training the dogs to the standards they should be trained to, lesson: BE CAREFUL WHO YOU MEET UP WITH!!!

I have had a great experience with Kaylas Paws and would trust them to train any of my furry kids! I refer friends and clients to them all the time because I know they will get the treatment and professionalism they deserve.

As a local guide, I would like to mention to anyone considering using this service that the physical location does not exist. As someone who is not comfortable with strangers being in my house, I opted to not use this service. I feel that, by listing an address that is fake, this company has a deceptive google entry.Edit: The location is now listed as mail only, as I had reported to Google that the physical location does not exist. As I assume that the owner of the location was told to fix this by Google, I find it very rude to deceptively comment on my review as if I reviewed the location after the address was listed as mail only.Edit 2: At the time of posting this review, there was no indication that any average person would see to tell them that there was no physical location. If anything, as there still is, the address listed is noted to be located inside of a shopping plaza. This, combined with the fact that there a two vague 5-star reviews that suggest a physical location was visited, led to me writing my review. As someone looking into training, I found this to be deceitful. Now, had you taken any accountability of the deceitful nature of the address listed and had potentially apologized, we both could have moved along our day and I would have probably taken down this review. Instead, you have insulted my intelligence as a google user and you have threatened me with legal action on a 100% honest review. You had your address listed in a shopping plaza, where you in-fact are not located, and I felt that other people had the right to know. Given that the crowd you deal with, being someone who suffers from anxiety, I know that letting a random stranger into your home can be extremely difficult and felt it would be best to let others know that you have no physical address as to save them time. Now, given that your address has changed to clearly show as not a physical address, I am half tempted to remove my review and I probably would have deleted my review had you not replied with threats of legal action against me.

We were excited to work with them to train my daughters puppy as a mobility service pup. We got the application, filled it out and sent it in with our check. On 9/10/18 we were told he just got our application that day and we’d hear from him in a couple days to set up the interview. Ended up not hearing from anyone for a while, husband ended up calling and he said we would hear from them, On 9/21/18 sent another email and got response on 9/25/18 and was told we’d hear from them in a week and half to set up interview. It’s now 10/12/18 and we are still waiting. I finally emailed them and said we’re going elsewhere and asked for my doctors notes back. They didn’t waste any time on cashing my check... debating whether to call better business bureau or not... Rude and poor customer service.Very disappointed.

Cancels a lot. Harsh methods of training. Sascha (my SDit) got attacked by another dog from this organization multiple times. She had no bite inhibition. She has left me with many scars. I loved her to death but this training regime is not suitable for any human or dog. He took a $2500 grant from the non-profit Semper Fi Fund that Provides immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post 9/11 combat wounded, critically ill and catastrophically injured service members. I got less than 4 months of training. No money back. Do not recommend.

My experience with Mr. Nowak was only over the phone. I never met him in person and I am glad I did not. He was nothing but rude to me over the phone and was very condescending when I decided to be open about my disabilities and problems in life. All I wanted was help finding a service dog and a trainer. I did not expect to get turned away because I was not disabled enough.

There are many places that arent unique as Kaylas Paws, and stating this shows that I have done the research needed to understand the service dog world and the scams out there. I am glad that this professional non-profit is out there helping people in every way possible. The dedication from the team within, especially Mr.David Nowak, who is amazing at answering questions and informing the person more then ever, shows how much experience he has doing this type of work. I give this non-profit a 5/5!!!

Dave is a very compassionate and honest man. He does everything possible to get your service dog trained even if it means going out of his way. I had a great experience with training my SD Bella. Ive learned so much from him that I dont think I would have learned any where else. I still use him as a resource when I have questions.

I was very excited to work with this foundation. Filled everything out, submitted my check (which is non refundable) didnt hear from owner for a bit but happened to be a work problem (totally understand) Final paperwork and notes go in and was told I would be called for an interview within the next day...this was 12/13/17....Still hadnt heard anything by 1/20/18. Sent email about getting some of my paperwork back as it was obvious they dropped me, and never heard anything back. Ridiculous.

I called as an adult in need of a service dog. My doctor prescribed one for me after a major accident left me with anxiety, PTSD, and many more mental and emotional issues. However, after our long conversation on the phone I was told that I was not disabled enough for being in need of a service dog.
