I never given a review like this but this is just unbelievable. I was referred to him by my primary physician and was told he is great. Unfortunately I have to rate it as awful because of his staff. I’ve been trying to get an appointment for days... when they decide to answer the phone, they leave you on hold forever and then they hang up on you. You call again and the cycle repeats. Then you provide your information for them to call you back and they never do!! Sad that a probably a good doctor gets a bad review and lose new patients not because of his knowledge but because of his staff and poor office service. For what I see in other reviews this is their style. Dr. Chai, seems you need to clean the house ASAP!!

I only gave them a one since I couldnt give them a 0. The doctor is great but the receptionists are the nasty two ladies I have ever had to deal with. They shouldnt be working with patients and answering the phones. They love to hang up on people. I will personally let the doctor listen to the recording of his employees just sad . Poor doctor gets the worse of it but I dont recommend going there so you can deal with these two

Please keep in mind I am rating the office staff polices and not the doctor. If I can give these people a zero I would. If you want to obtain your records for any reason it will be a problem. I stopped using this practice because the only way I could obtain the records for an echocardiogram I was about to take was to have a follow up visit. They would not budge on this policy(which I considered nothing but a money grab from my insurance company) so I walked out. I had another echocardiogram at another place which revealed a severe medical condition I needed to be taken care of. A few months later I called this office to obtain all of my medical records. The first person I spoke told me if it was for another doctor they needed the request in writing from the doctor. I said I needed the records for myself. Her answer was the person responsible for get copies of medical records is out for the week. I then said there is no one in your office who can get copies of medical records which all you have to do is press a button on a computer? She then said she needed to speak with her boss. I told her my condition is severe and she said they will call back. After an hour with no call back I called the office. I told the woman who answered what I needed. She then said she took care of the situation. She proceeded to question the validity of why I wanted the records by saying Arent you going to see another cardiologist. I could not believe what I was hearing. I told her what difference is it to her why I am asking for my records. . I told her I have a severe heart condition and should not have to go through all of this aggravation to get records which by law you have to give me. Her response was to hang up on me. I then called back and spoke to this person again and asked for her name. She said it was Jean and she said she is the only Jean here when I asked for her last name. She seemed annoyed as to why I am asking for her name. I then told her she was rude and tried to explain to her that a cardiologists office of all places should not give people aggravation for obtaining medical records. Before I can explain my complaint Jean said very rudely I am sorry you feel this way and hung up again.Dr Chai is an excellent doctor. The problem with this practice is the staff and office polices set by people above Dr. Chai . There are other people (who still use this practice ) I know who have had problems obtaining records and had a more difficult time than me .The people in charge in this practice are just rude and uncooperative. When you ask for your records they take it as an annoyance and act suspicious if you still use the practice (as if you need your records because you will be going to another cardiologist). I do not understand why a practice whose patients are people with heart conditions give them such a hard time obtaining medical records . A cardiologist office above all others should be the most cooperative of all and not raise any patients (former or current) blood pressure.

I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ how patients still come to the doctor when the staff nurse Susan is rude! Very unprofessional and nasty! Feel sorry for their patients!
