Ive been a patient of Dr. Patel for years now. I cant recommend a more knowledgeable and compassionate man to care for you and your family. Dr Patel and staff go the extra mile whether its returning phone calls or settling problems at the pharmacy or with dealing with insurance providers. If you are looking for a Dr. who will actually take the time and ask you questions and listen to your concerns and problems Dr Akask Patel is your guy.

Wouldve given five stars bc the nurses have always taken very good care of my daughters when they have seen them but the last time i brought them here my daughter had hurt her toe bad enough that it was bleeding and bruised but i wasnt sure how bad i just needed someone to take a quick look at it and let me know if i should bring her to another clinic for emergency care or what ? but when i got there it was five mins before closing time and the man at front desk said sorry cant help you ! i asked if i could just speak with a nurse real quick just for a second n get an opinion and he went back to the back n came back n said NO - from a mother to a mother ... if i was a nurse n it was five mins until closing but there was a mom n her young child standing at my door just asking for advice i would help her NOT push her out the door !!! but hey everyone is different so i just left ... hence the lack of last star but when the girls did see the nurses they did take good care of them and where very professional so i cant speak badly of their work just dont be five mins till closing or you are out of luck!!

Not as bad as Signature Healthcare, but definitely a runner up for second worst doctors office in the South Shore. My experience was actually pretty decent until I was assigned Akash Patel as my PCP, whos extremely unprofessional and unorganized for a doctor. I had to call in every single day for 3 weeks straight to get my daily mandatory medicine filled, and they sent me on a journey of calling CVS and my healthcare provider every single day as well for 3 weeks, when the whole time it was Patels fault for forgetting to authorize it.....How do you forget to authorize a mandatory medicine for 3 weeks for one of your patients when they call in every single day? To make it even worse, the staff gave me serious attitude almost every time I called. After 3 weeks of desperately trying to get my medicine and almost losing my job because of this, I had to snap at them over the phone just to get someones damn attention! It wasnt until that point that I finally got a call back from Mr. Patel - and instead of apologizing for ignoring me for 3 weeks while I desperately struggled for an answer, he yelled at me for being rude...wow. If youre going to use this place, just be prepared for useless receptionists and stay far away from Patel.

I’ve been going here for 10 years since I was a child. When I was going to college, I needed my vaccine records for school. They weren’t allowed to give them to me because I was like a month away from being 18. My mother couldn’t make it. I get that it could be a state policy or whatever but they handled it not so nicely. Then, I went to an appointment I had at urgent care for covid like symptoms (not severe, got a negative covid test the day before, doctor also said it’s probably just a cold) they gave me another test which I was fine with. I had missed my physical a couple months prior so I asked the urgent care doctor if I would be able to make an appointment upstairs for a physical. He said it shouldn’t be a problem. Get upstairs the screening lady is talking to some lady, takes my temp and lets me in. I talk to the ladies at the front desk. They said there was a cancellation that day so I could come in then. She sets me up, and then asks has anyone asked you the screening questions and I said no, and she said that’s ok they’ll ask later…. Ok. I go home… I come back.. the screening lady is again talking to someone. Asks me the whole nine yards and more this time. I’m honest and say I have symptoms but a negative test, I have a cold, And that I was just here 2 hours prior to make an appointment. She leaves (I’m sure to ask if I could come in) but while she’s leaving more people show up behind me and she lets them right in… no temp or questions. She comes back and says we need to reschedule…. If you had asked these questions the first time I was here I wouldn’t have to waste my time, energy, and gas. Also not to mention. My primary is Dr. beaupre, I don’t think I’ve ever met her, maybe once, in the 10 years!! I’ve been going. I ask her is there anyway we can do it today. “Nope”. Ok. Welp. Thanks for wasting my time.

Im a third generation patient of Compass and there are many issues here that have persisted for years. As many others have stated, there are a few receptionists who are just miserable to work with. Not to mention, my mother has had many experiences where they will move or cancel an appointment without telling her, or they call her to reschedule but fail to tell her that theyre scheduling her to a different doctor than her typical provider. One time she showed up to a rescheduled appointment and found out they put her in with some other doctor that she had never met before. If youre considering going to Compass, honestly, Id recommend going elsewhere first.

I recently switched one of my children aging out of pediatrics to my pcp. I did my due diligence and made sure she was accepting new patients and accepted our insurance. My child called to make an appointment for an ongoing medical issue and was told he had to have his physical first....sometime next year. Until then, he was basically told oh well, too bad. I called back and got the same power tripping receptionist who was did not want to connect me with a supervisor or give me the name(s) of a supervisor. She finally connected me to a supervisor, wouldn’t give me the supervisors full name (even though the vm stated the supervisors full name, so go figure that one out) and shockingly, I have not received a call back, 5 HOURS LATER. The doctors here may be great, but if this is how the receptionists are going to treat patients, they’re going to lose customers. If this isn’t resolved immediately, I will be pulling my entire family from the practice, and I will also be very vocal about the poor customer service on any venue I can find.Edited to add - I still haven’t received a call back from the message I left on Friday afternoon at approximately 2 PM...it is now 2:11 PM Monday.

Thee worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Honestly, these receptionist are thee most miserable people. Zero respect, simply useless, and treat customers second class. Appointments are a joke and good luck pulling in during or near rush hour. I used to like my doctor until he joined compass. Their policies and treatment are a joke and restricted him from treating me like a human. They refer out to the worst places that their partnered with. Happy I finally left the place.

I’ve been reluctantly going to Compass Medical in East Bridgewater for 15 years. For convenience only!Always leave with more questions than answers as I have yet to be the patient of a doctor that knows what they’re doing.Took me 3 urgent care visits and countless family practice office visits to YEARS later find out a had a kidney stone! My last visit was indeed my last visit. Had Jenny Wong and she scared the hell out of me with my EKG report.Went there for something totally different that appointment and got completely brushed off.Left there UNTREATED for a serious problem that I found out I had!ZERO STARS for ZERO KNOWLEDGE!

It is not possible to love the doctors office, but this is a great place. Ive never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to see the doctor. Both the doctor and the NP that I have seen at this location were top notch, truly caring and compassionate. Ive also been to the urgent care center and my experience there was excellent! While the building does feel a little bit sterile and lacking in comforting decor, it is clean and well maintained! I would highly recommend this facility and its physicians to anyone looking for a new doctor!

Basically everything about the place sucks. There should be a way to give it zero or negative stars. The office staff is terrible, they make you wait forever after giving you an appointment time, every damned time. Honestly, how difficult can it be to figure out the mean time to see someone and adjust the appointments accordingly? Or text if the doctor is running behind? The billing department is useless, they insist on repeated automated calls and not texts for appointment reminders... I could go on.The place is a gigantic dump run by a group of morons.Edit: I see that Compass has promised to get in touch. I really don’t care to hear why you suck, I just want you to fix it! Scroll down from my review and there are many reviews saying the same things.

I left work to come to my appointment and now I have to wait 1 hour and 45 mins to see a doctor horrible horrible the receptionist doesnt care. Serious not cool. I will be switching my doctor . If you are looking at reviews for doctor stay away compass look somewhere else beware time means nothing to them. I honestly cannot say enough real positive things about Dr. Bentahar at Compass Medical in East Bridgewater. She has gone well above and beyond for me, as Im sure she does for all of her patients. She is so very thorough, she is so caring, attentive, honest. She calls to check in on you, well after her shift is done and the office has been closed for hours. And when she calls, shes calling because she cares. Not because its a task. And you can very clearly feel that. She doesnt stop until she figures out any issues, and until you feel completely comfortable. She makes you feel like its a family member taking care of you. I want to say thank you Dr. Bentahar, I always know I am in good hands with you and appreciate how amazing you are at your job. You are a wonderful doctor and an asset to all healthcare. And I will add that everyone at the office has been wonderful. I have been going there for almost 3 years and from reception, to the nurses and nps, radiology, everyone has been wonderful. Thank you!

I love Compass medical! Ive been going here for years! Through the years Ive been to the Brockton (when it was still open), Easton, East Bridgewater and Braintree buildings. I really love that they have Urgent care it is amazing!! It makes life so much easier when you have an issue that you really shouldnt have to wait days to see your Doctor for or if you cant afford to take time off of work to get in to see your doctor during their working hours. All your medical info is right there for them to view and for your primary to see after your visit to urgent care. The specialty services are awesome too. Ive seen both a diabetic specialist and a dietitian here in East Bridgewater and both women Mrs. williams and Mrs. White are great at what they do. To be fair Ive run into some issues over the years with the staff including one doctor, but nothing that doesnt happen in ever medical facility everywhere or any business everywhere for that matter. Unfortunately it happens. Over all between the number of years Ive been with compass medical which is 20+ and counting those few bad run ins dont come close to all the AMAZING care ive received at Compass Medical and I dont want to go anywhere else.

Waiting more than a week when you know that the results are available to your doctor — but not to you — is excruciating and unacceptable! Im being told 30 days for Mammogram results! It should take maximum of 10-12 days anything more that that is unacceptable. I sent a message through the Healow portal App to Dr. Imane Bentahar, MD and that was what I was told. Almost feels like punishment because I didnt get one for years! Now I know why.UPDATE: 01/31/20 Received call from Radiology department, very nice woman Katy, explained reason for slight delay and that they have 30 days, but is not there goal and are under going changes in the department and getting new equipment in. She was very kind explaining the delay and was not going to take 30 days. Thank you for responding and explaining and being so kind. I dont like to write negative reviews and never do, if I can help it. I now understand the issue, and hope things can be communicated better to patients in the future through the healow portal app.

Recently moved to the area, was trying to establish a new primary care physician. I ended up at compass medical at there Bridgewater location with Dr. Patel. I left this office very disappointed. I feel almost none of the questions I had asked where answered. All he was interested in was giving me a physical and that was it, turns out I didnt need one, so pretty much that was that. I would not recommend this MD just feels like your primary should care just a smidge. The rest of this place is nice, clean, well mapped out with signage to get to your desired location. Hopefully I can get on board with another doctor soon because finding medical assistance when you need it is difficult to find unless you go to the ER in MA.

The phlebotomist was extremely rude and uncaring. Never even smiled or nodded at me to acknowledge I had just sat down to wait. Eventually, opened the window and almost tossed a form on a clipboard to fill out. (Other patients rolled their eyes. Is this her typical behavior??)Never told me the pens were on the window sill ( is it too much effort to hand a pen with the clip board?). When she called my name she ran right by me into the hall. Stood there tapping her foot as I gathered my belongings. No small talk on the way drawing area. I finally got fed up and said “don’t you smile??”. I was absolutely appalled when she replied “ that is not a part of the job.”” Appalled doesn’t quite describe what I was feeling at this point, i asked for another phlebotomist. She then stormed out. Not sure why she still has a job??? The manager called me but not sure what happened. No further communication.
