I’ve been a resident here at Bay Path for almost 2 years. I’m always happy with the care and happy with the service in all departments.I care a lot about the aides and their demeanor. I can’t say enough about activities, they’re the bomb. Thanks, Pat

I arrived at Bay Path in July with two broken ankles and stayed for sixteen days before transferring to home medical care. Five stars to the wonderful staff who cared for me with great kindness and skill during my stay..Nurses Kathleen and Entiola, Physical Therapists Sarah and Eliana, Occupational Therapist Karen and Aids Vicki and Immaculata each went above and beyond to support my recovery. Kudos to them and their sincere patient focus!

Thomas Beckett I’m reading your review and I’m so very sorry you are experiencing this. I believe you because I know of someone else that has had the same exact experience! Did you try calling the main corporate line that is what they did. Not much better response but don’t give up! So sad for your loved one. If you are able to get her out of there I very highly recommend life care center in west bridge water. That is what my friend did. And the quality of care there and the staff is nothing but amazing! Best of luck to you!

This facility is not a good place for your love ones. the Nursing staff are great as well as therapy. they do not have the ability to meet patients needs. Food is terrible , coffee always cold and meals are always late. Ive reached out to the management and the outcome is the same...After speaking with Cyril I come to the conclusion that the Bottom line is what matters.....I feel for the ones that dont have someone who cares about them.Sad 😔 I can’t believe what I’m seeing tonight ….staff walking around with out PPE. another example of how bad this place really is

My Mom has been at Baypath for a couple of years now and has been through the whole Covid crisis. These were very challenging times for the residents, the families and the staff. I am very satisfied at how this pandemic crisis was handled at Baypath. I was able to communicate with the nurses and my Mom on a daily basis.Jeannie and her ladies of the activities department were amazing also. They went above and beyond to FaceTime with the families. The iPads were our only way to really see and talk to our loved ones before we were allowed back in to visit. The activitiy ladies kept the residents engaged the best they could. The outdoor visits were the best. I want to thank you all for taking care of my Mom when I couldn’t.From the front desk staff to the housekeeping and kitchen staff I am grateful they continued to show up tbtheur jobs during this pandemic. The CNA’s were also amazing. Thank you Baypath!💕🙏✌🏼🇺🇸MJ Gage

My Mom has been a resident of BayPath for over 10 years and the care and support has been outstanding. She enjoys the companionship and friendliness of all the staff and even through the trials of the past year the quality of care has not diminished. She could not have found a better place to spend her golden years.

My father stayed at this facility for a few months and it was horrible. We had to pay for a phone to call him which we thought was weird. The front desk Karen was terrible. We would call several times, sometimes 5x in a row and she would ignore you and sometimes not pick up if she knew you were calling, she would send you to a dead line. Totally unacceptable! We are trying to get in touch with our love one and they just dont care. Horrible! They dont call you with updates, nothing.. you call them and there too busy to talk with you...food was disgusting and he lost many, many pounds. He went there, elderly man with no covid shot...we pleaded with them to give him a shot and was avoided!! Totally stressed us out because we were afraid he was going to get it. They kept calling to tell us people had covid in there BUT no shot was given to him. We had to fight with this facility all the time. Would not recommend anyone to go to this facility! Did not find the director, Rebecca to professional either...They just did not care!! Very poorly run!!!! 👎 Carrie and some nurses were ok.

I have been so disheartened to learn about the less than stellar care provided at the “new”Bay Pathfacility. Staff is negligent about name tags, so patients and family are clueless to whom they are speaking. My review is from family of someone in the memory unit, in after a hip replacement. Staff was limited. ‘UNC” was often not dressed and in bed. PT was good when provided. The physical therapist had to change his soiled undergarments.Communication with family is spotty at best, and often when reached staff knew little about a situation. Now, again, we have to travel to Scituate or Hingham for good care.My uncle had a premature discharge from Bay Path, falling the day he returned home, and being admitted to hospital the next.day.Baypath said he was making no progress and stopped therapy. The hospital PT and staff recommended more PT, so now he is in rehab again in another town.I will not recommend this facility to anyone, but if you have someone there, be vigilant, visit daily at different times.. if you are fully vaccinated, taking social distancing and Covid precautions seriously, you pose no risk to this facility.I am so sad that the care at this “new” Bay Path is the same as the old one. It could be such an asset to our town.

My Mother moved to Bay Path the end of Jan. Timing was crucial at the time. It was a difficult decision, yet the administration was so helpful. They were kind and understanding. She has been to many nursing homes for rehab, including Bay Path, years ago. She has accepted this decision as her own. The nursing staff is wonderful. Food, ups and down. She has gained weight. She is healthier. They make me feel welcome. I visit approx 4 to 5 times a week.Thank you for helping me take care of my wonderful Mom.

Do not place your loved ones at this facility. The CNAs are awesome and the nursing staff is good as well as the the physical therapy tea. They do not have the ability to meet patient’s individual needs. How many times did we press the buzzer for assistance and to no avail. Even the patient next to us pressed his buzzer and no one came. I had to personally walked down to the nurse’s station to get their attention. If the patient has specific dietary needs such as diabetes, they pay no attention even after repeated conversations with the staff about their meal. How would you like to get your meals at 9 am and 7 pm for dinner and having diabetes. After vigorous complaints, still no remedy. Insulin level checks would come after the meals...not acceptable. Food would frequently be cold and asked to be warmed up. How would you like your loved one to get a ham and cheese sandwich 3 out of 5 nights for dinner? Sometimes physical therapy didn’t have the time that day to work with the patient...totally unacceptable. Even the day we requested discharge, I was assured that the patient would have a shower before discharge. Of course that didn’t happen. We were very upset to see the patient care that was received and we could speak up for ourselves. What about the ones that don’t have someone who cares about them.

STAY AWAY, STAY VERY FAR AWAY!! Awful experience, negligent care. No proper record keeping, ask for info on your loved one. Cant get a straight answer from anyone. Food is awful. Residents constantly complaining in the lunch room. You will be sorry if you send you loved one here.I wish someone had left a review for me to read, I never would have let my mother go there. They quarantined the woman in the room next door, BUT my Mom had to share the bathroom between the rooms with her. What??? That makes no sense!!Mom was admitted through ER approximately 12 hours after being released from Bay Path. Needing emergency catheterization. Why did they not know she was not urinating??? She suffered needlessly from their negligence. Her bladder may have burst!!! Bay Path released her that way, ignoring her complaints of pain. Terrible Place.

Keep your loved ones away from this place. On two separate occasions my mother had to call me to talk to someone at the nursing desk to get someone to answer the call button, after a half hour of waiting. Completely unacceptable. More than half the staff act like they hate their jobs and pass the attitude on to the patients. If any other options are available for the rehabilitation of your family member, go with any other place.
