I highly recommend this school! Ms. Harris is one of the best teachers I have ever had and really cares about her students in making sure that they succeed. The class environment is fun and enjoyable, it makes me excited to learn everyday. I love how fast paced the classes are, you can get your certificate in just a few weeks! The classes are also very small, you get a lot of one on one interaction with the teacher. I had a very enjoyable experience with this school, one that I will always remember. She makes sure you leave her school with all the knowledge and skills you need to be a successful nursing assistant.

This is one of the BEST institutes you could possibly look for. Mrs Chinauwa was very helpful with understanding the skills and the information needed. She took her time with every student and made sure every student understood the information 100%. She is one of the best teachers i have ever had. I would definitely recommend this institute.

The Harris Training institute is a great place for anyone looking to get into the health field. I was nervous at first due to me being out of school for so long but Ms. Harris teaching skills put you at ease the very first day in the door. I definitely recommend this school to anyone young or old and to leave the slacking at home get in learn the skills you need to be successful in your career and by the time the course is over you’re leaving with life a lesson worth learning. My family and I thank you.

Wonderful School and Ms Harris is an amazing teacher, Ive always had trouble with teachers being all about the books and going by what the books says but she adds in her own knowledge and explains to you real life experiences that you may run into. Small Class so its easier to things done and have fun while doing it. Fast Paced but she takes her time teaching you to make sure you understand the information she telling you. The lessons are broken down into multiple small lessons that way you have less information you have to remember all at oncne and helps you retain the information better.. If youre looking for a class thats small, fun and has an amazing teacher this is the class for you.

More people should write review about this school, It is the best Nurse aide school in Durham.I started class January 25, 2016 and it is just great. Ms Harris is a great teacher and she makes learning fun. Love it so far !

The instructor is amazing!! I will never forget my time here at the Harris Training Institute, we had a great class and Im so glad I found this place. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, but if youre looking to slack off and not do what youre suppose to do then looK elsewher. The course is face paced because it is only a month but she makes sure you are comfortable knowing the material and the skills. She truly wants her students to pass and do well! Great place and great instructor.

So glad I was able to attend Ms.Chinauwas class. She made the classroom environment so comfortable and I truly learned and felt prepared for the state exam. Ms.Chinauwa always puts her students first and I honestly recommend her institute. Best Instructor I have ever had!

I was thinking about a new avenue in regards to how I can make some additional money that would not be overwhelming and conflict with my full time employment. A family member told me that they make great money as a CNA. I said let me research this field. I was surprisingly pleased with my research. Then I researched the many different schools who offered this program in my county (Wake) and other neighboring counties. After about two weeks, I narrowed my search. I was struggling between staying in my county to prevent the travel or go where the price was reasonable, the class schedule fit into my schedule, you can test in the environment where you learned the skills and there was a payment option available, if needed. I spoke to Mrs. Harris on several occasions before I made my decision. I felt very comfortable communicating with her over the phone as she sounded very compassionate about teaching others, therefore; I chose to go with Harris Training Institute in Durham. When I started the class, I knew Mrs. Harris was a very good instructor as she related real life experiences and incorporated great examples in her lesson plan to enhance my knowledge. She makes you want to make life changes in regards to your health based on what you learn in her class. I did not think that I was going to be able to maintain a full-time and a part-time job as well as taking this class, but I did. I made it work, because it was something that I wanted. Class was always interesting as feedback and questions were always welcome. I would recommend this school to all who are seeking any certifications from Harris Training Institute. Ms.Harriss class is different from any other schooling Ive had. She teaches you in a way that makes you actually remember what shes taught and always tries to help her students to the best of her abilities. For some people school is difficult and is something that they dread but with Ms. Harris she never gives up on you. She always finds a way to help her students and makes you feel like you can pass with ease. I recommend this class to anyone looking for a CNA course because this has been an amazing experience and I would do it all over again.

Ms.Harris CNA I class was phenomenal. She took the time to ensure that each student clearly understood each subject and that each student spent adequate time demonstrating skills per the curriculum. It was nothing for her to stay late reviewing extra with a student if they were struggling. Clinicals were just further reinforcement for the skills taught in class. Passes the NC exam in one sitting. Thanks Ms. Harris for investing in me!

I took my CNA course in March/April and I had an amazing experience. I love Ms.Harris, shes funny, professional, helpful and she will work with you when it comes to classwork/clinical if your having trouble or feel behind in something. I really enjoyed taking this class, it was fast, affordable, small class size and a positive environment to learn. I havent been on the website lately but Im hoping she will teach a CNA II course. I have recommended her to everyone I know looking into becoming a CNA. I got a job quickly first in a nursing home and then to a hospital which is where I intended to go in taking this course and to this day I still use the skills and advice I got in this class. Her class is definitely worth the investment and I highly recommend her! Thank you Ms.Harris!
