I found Dr Blaylocks office from a Google search when I lived in Durham and by chance got the best and most gentle dental Hygenist for cleaning my teeth that I believe exists. Tessa gives more of a massage to the gums when cleaning off any plaque around my teeth that has accumulated between cleanings. No gouging or poking and prodding. She makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. Dr Blaylock gives an honest opinion when doing his exam and doesn’t suggest unnecessary procedures just to bring in more money for the office. I now live in Raleigh and do not mind driving 30 plus minutes to my dentist and do not plan on switching just since I’ve moved.

Dr. Blaylock and his team are always so kind and professional. They spend time getting to know you as a patient and asking about family and friends while providing fantastic dental care. The staff at Dr. Blaylock’s feel more like family than anything else. I highly recommend them to anyone searching for a dentist in the area!

Very skilled and well mannered dentist. You can expect high quality work and long lasting outcomes due to how thorough he is. When he numbs you up, he makes sure you cant feel a thing so hes very thorough with the anesthetic too. Unfortunately he was a bit squeamish with any sort prescription strength pain relief afterwards and steered guidance towards home remedies and anti-inflammation meds. The pain was acute and lasted for a good 3 or 4 days before finally subsiding despite the medicine.Also to note if youre reliant on credit, ala care credit and are having a tough time financially, youd best make sure that you remember to ask for 12 months interest free payments, his staff often tend to forget to ask and you might end up in a needlessly tougher financial spot.All in all the end result will be likely very worth it for your dental needs, despite any sort of discomfort after surgery which Im guessing isnt too common an occurrence in the first place :)

I recently experience jaw pain and locking, which was super annoying and very painful. Though a great diet plan, I really wanted to eat. I called the office and was told to come in, and to bring my bite guard. Dr. Blaylock did an assessment and with Debbies help, adjusted the appliance. After just one night I felt relief!
