My husband and I have been patients for many years. I have private insurance and we direct pay for my husband ( he has Medicare) They have provided quality convenient empathetic care, even during the pandemic. They are thorough and make prescription refills and referrals to specialists easy.

Best Doctor Ive ever been to.They care about me enough to tolerate my idiosyncrasies and have always treated me very well.If you are looking for a real deal Doctor, one that listens and explains..One that cares about your outcome and has a patient, calm and polite mannerisms.Then Dr. Ciotti is worth getting in line for.Hes not the Average Doctor and his Staff are equally Great.

The staff at the front desk was nice, however, Dr. Johnathan Fox is absolutely the worst medical professional Ive ever had. After 10 days of a serious throat infection, spitting up blood clots, and having my mouth almost swell shut, all Fox had to say was, drink water and return in a week.He does not care about his patience, you are just a name on a file, and his style seems to be to just have you come back as many times as possible to collect your insurance & co pay. I went to another care provider and they immediately helped me by, one, actually listening to me, and two, providing me with the medicine I needed. I wish this wasnt such a small clinic, so they could actually replace this doctor due to the increasing negative reviews against Dr. Johnathan Fox. If you are going to come here, please consider seeing any other doctor other than Dr. Fox. I will be switching primary care providers for my whole family.

Be careful, they dont accept medicare. They will drop you when you reach 65

I moved my medical records to Cottonwood health two years ago after a bad experience elsewhere. I was searching for professional, intelligent Doctors to help me manage my health care.Two times so far I have been able to be seen without an appointment with urgent matters. Today was one of those days. I was treated with professionalism, empathy and kindness by Megan and also Dr. Jay Ciotti. I left feeling empowered and cared for. I highly appreciate knowing that I have a Doctor I can trust to guide me in the direction that is best for my overall health. And an office staff that wants only the best for their patients.

My wife and I have been with these physicians since about 2004. I have always been impressed that the appointments are very timely and yet I have never once felt rushed during a visit. Dr. Jay always takes time to explain my treatments and to answer all my questions. But more importantly, he listens to what I have to say. I have been extremely happy with the medical services provided at Cottonwood and have no desires to change doctors.

I went to see dr Ciotti to set up new patient care. I have insurance, Medicaid, and Medicar . Not only was I very unhappy with him as he didnt even get my prescriptions called in correctly, I received a bill of $435 ! For one office visit ! Not an emergency. Nothing was resolved and again, he didnt even get my prescriptions called in correctly. I would recommend ANY Dr. Before I would recommend this place.

Mrs. Suzanne is one of the most understanding and approachable doctors Ive ever seen! I instantly felt comfortable with her and was able to talk to her about any and all medical issues I was having, she will definitely be my doctor for as long as I live in Durango! The staff was super nice as well and always had a smile! Very good vibes!

I dont think Dr. Ciotti understands just how much shes changed things for my husband and I. I have been developing a thyroid disease and its wreaked a strange kind of havoc on my body. This appointment, my first with her, is the first time its being treated. Things have been hard for my husband and I because of this ongoing sickness and just knowing that she recognizes it and is treating it, made me cry in my car. Went in yesterday with a servere chest invection and shortness of breath and they didnt give me anything..... No inhaler no breathing treatments no nothing.. the doctors exact words were looks like youre on the road to recovery today breathing is worse and I will be treated elsewhere that actually takes patients seriously.In all fairness the front staff was very friendly and helpful but the old doc is on his way out.

My experience today has made me decide to never return. Im a 28 male ADULT, yet treated like a child. Im self pay, so a doctor visit is quite expensive for me and i wouldnt go unless i felt i really needed it. I was told i just had a cold, and didnt need a prescription. My health wasnt taken very seriously i had to bully him into writing me a prescription. I know what a damn cold is. Absolutely ridiculous, take your patients seriously. I have major chest congestion and sinus congestion spitting and coughing our gross green stuff. Waking up at night unable to breathe because of how congested i am. Thats not a cold. Go back to school old man.

Ive been to this clinic before. And when I call to see if I can come in for a serious health problem today they told me they didnt have any availbilties and just hung up. Doctors will try to squeeze you in the moment you have an infection. Ridiculous. They have lost my respect.

My husband and I along with my two teenage children moved to Durango about a year ago. Part of the process of moving to a new town is choosing new doctors for your family. I began asking around to my family in the area and the few friends we had made and a few were already seeing the Ciottis for their medical care and recommended them highly. I became very ill in December 2016 with extreme lower abdominal pain, I suspected it was a kidney stone, but could not rule out appendicitis. I decided to go see Dr. Ciotti for the first time. When I called, he got me in immediately (within hours) and upon examining me and performing several tests in the office, he thought as well that it was a kidney stone, but to play it safe he called over to the hospital and got me in to do a scan. I felt he was extremely thorough in his examination and reacted to my pain in an urgent manor. Since December, my husband, son and daughter have seen Dr. Jay Ciotti for different issues and we have been very happy. Whether you are new to the area or just searching for a new doctor, I highly recommend Cottonwood Family Health.
