I love this dentist. And his hygienist Danielle is superb. We live in three different places, Seattle Scottsdale and here. I feel I get a more thorough exam and cleaning here than any of my other dentists. Durangos lucky to have them.

I’ve been going to Dr. Whitman for over five years. I’ve never had a bad experience. I actually enjoy going, as I’ve always feared most dentists. He has fixed chips in my front teeth and made them beautiful. They get you in as soon as possible for urgent appointments.Danielle is our favorite hygienist. She is gentle and a wealth of knowledge.

This past month I’ve had multiple appointments to get work done. My experience with everything has been great! Dr. Whitman did great with extractions and cavities, while Anna was awesome with the cleanings. The insurance I have works with Durango Family Dentistry which is nice. After being terrified of dental work prior to Dr. Whitman, I highly recommend Durango Family Dentistry. Very pleased and thankful, while getting comfortable with dental visits.

My dentist was out of town,these guys squeezed me in took care of everything everybody was really nice.

I needed a cavity filled. I was impressed: 20 minutes and I was done. No pain. Ryan and staff are outstanding!

I switched to here from another dentist and am so glad I did. The whole team here is fantastic. Dr. Whitman, Jessie, Anna, the front desk staff - all exceptionally helpful and professional.

Great dentist. The covid precautions made me feel very safe & I felt as comfortable as one can be at the dentist. The dr got me in & out fairly quickly & did a great job on my teeth.

Ive been going to Dr. Whitman for a few years now and have had a really positive experience every visit. I really like my hygienist (Annah), I get early appointments, havent had any billing issues, and always get in and out quickly. I also have been impressed with their response to COVID-19 and the precautions they have taken in their office.

Dr. Brown and the rest of the staff at Durango Family Dentistry continue to provide an excellent experience at each visit. Shes helped me identify and correct several dental issues over the past year, including a bad habit of grinding that I wasnt even aware of before I came to her. I feel like the staff here went above and beyond in correcting my grinding in making absolutely certain that insurance would cover a normally very expensive nightguard—I really appreciate that in a medical practice.Whether its a filling, cleaning (thank you to Jessie for being SO thorough!), X-ray, or simply a discussion about how to improve my oral health, I consistently feel comfortable and well taken care of here.

Every time Ive come in, Ive been given the run around for appointments, including appointment wait times longer than 3 months. I had an appointment I made in May (its now August) and a last minute scheduling issue came up and I needed to reschedule, and I was told the next appointment was in December. The receptionists are sometimes polite but Ive also experienced some extremerudeness. The actual dental work was okay, but a bit brutal, leaving me with bleeding gums and the excuse of you dont floss which I do, religiously once a day. My teeth were spotless which is why there are 2 stars instead of 1.

I called on a Monday morning, at roughly 6:45, in extreme pain. The staff member was incredibly pleasant and receptive to my situation. I was in the dentists chair at 11 AM, that same day. Dr. Whitman was extremely skillful and efficient. The tooth extraction took less than twenty minutes and I was able to return to work shortly after my procedure. One of the best dental experiences Ive had, thanks all!

Posting this because I hope the people in charge read it and do something about it.I am a new patient looking for a dentist. I called at 7:45 am, and was immediately put on hold for 5 minutes. Ok, I can handle that. Then the receptionist picks up, and I tell her Id like to schedule an appointment. She says, OK, Im just going to finish up this note Im writing, Im putting you back on hold. I stayed on hold for another 5 minutes, then hung up and called a different dentist.The dentists may be great, but if the receptionists make it this hard to get in the door - and prioritize finishing their notes over accepting new patients - youre going to have a hard time staying in business.

If dentist visits give u anxiety, this is the place to go. Staff are extremely friendly as well as understanding when u cry after being told at 40 you have not only your first cavities, but need a root canal too. Thanks for putting up with me. 👍 btw, my teeth look and feel great even a day later.

Very good experiences. I like the doctor (Whitman) and staff. It was good before but seemed to turn in an even better direction since Ryan took over. I moved from the area and am looking for a dentist like DFD - high tech, convenient, friendly, etc.

My family has been going to see Dr. Whitman and Dr. Brown for the last three years now, they are amazing. Their staff is great and always friendly!

Got my 2 back teeth pulled today from Dr. Whitman, he was phenomenal!! Was seen yesterday for x-rays and wasnt supposed to be seen for a week (which was fine) but my insurance is over tomorrow so he worked with me to get me in ASAP and didnt try to force work on me (that i know i need but not necessary at the moment)... Definately coming back and definately recommend!!

Went to this establishment for fillings. Had to come back twice because the young female dentist didnt shape the fillings properly to my teeth. I couldnt sleep for two days the pain was so bad. I will not be going back to this place. Months later my teeth with the fillings are still sensitive and hurt from time to time.

The 2 receptionists up front were fantastic treated me with respect and compassion. Ryan my dentist unbelievable. These people took care of me like Im not used to. Thank you to all of you

Best experience I have ever had at a dentist. Everyone in the office was friendly , helpful , and very efficient.

Dentist did not ask before doing work on my child. Then charged much more than other dentists in town. (I called around and asked them for the same procedural codes and charges.) We have changed dentists and the office will not transfer files until we pay the bill for the charges I did not authorize. Wouldnt recommend.

They were helpful, patient, efficient and did not try to push any unnecessary procedures.
