On multiple occasions I’ve called for medication refills and they have not been filled. In this latest instance I called 5 days ago and the script hadn’t been filled. I called back and was told they couldn’t fill it because I hadn’t been seen in 6 months. I was told this has been a long-standing policy. This is understandable but this has definitely not been practiced consistently in the past. Concerning the refill, I feel that had I not took the initiative and called back it would have never been refilled and I would have not heard back from them on a reason why. Haven’t actually seen the doctor there in like four years either. A different nurse practitioner seems to rotate in every year. Considering changing my primary.

After confirming my appointment! At 4:00 pm . I arrived 15 mins early. There were 5 others in the waiting room saying they were way behind. At 5:10 the office staff start leaving. And so I asked what about me? They said oh! Hang on! A couple minutes later one of the staff members ask me to come back another time! I wasted 3 hrs of work time for this appointment. Then to be turned away after I have a confirmed appointment. I will be going to the medical board!

My family and friends refer to her as Dr. Abomination for a good reason. I was in the ICU for 3 days and then moved out of ICU to a general room for 7 days due to having blood clots in my brain. She did not spend more than 2 minutes with me at any given time and did not explain what was going on or what the treatment was going to be. Overall, she left me in the dark when I was going through something serious. My family yelled at her one day and made her stay in the room to answer our questions and she was gripping her purse like she was in a big hurry the entire time. Absolutely awful doctor who does not care about her patients...

Dr. Encarnations billing dept. is collecting full payment from both me and the insurance company. You cannot get them to refund overcharges, and they do not answer mail. You have to leave messages, there is no one there to answer the phone, and they only return calls twice a week, sometimes you have to wait three to five days for a callback and if you are not home when they call, they forget all about you. They are quick to bill you, and once you pay, they dont want to know you, just try to get through, fat chance.

I love this doctors office! Everyone there including receptionists, nurses, and Dr. Encarnacion are so sweet and actually care about your well being. Im not to smart on anything medical and they do such a great job with putting me at ease and explaining in laymans terms whats going on medically. I have horrible anxiety and this is the first doctors Im not scared to go to. I know going in that these ladies are going to take care of me. I feel very comfortable there. I even get calls from the doctor herself and other medical staff to check on me after procedures. I am currently seeing NP mallory and I couldnt be happier with the care she provides. So stinking sweet I almost cant take it. I recommend this office to any and everybody!! The level of care is second to none here! I honestly dont believe any of those bad reviews I think they are just grumpy people who need to complain.

I had a very poor experience upon visiting Dr. Encarnacion recently. I simply wanted a recommendation for a dietician. Even though my insurance does not require me to have a referral they told me I needed to be seen. Once at the visit, I simply talked to the NP and she offered me no help. Upon checking out, I was told my copay is $53. I showed them my insurance card which clearly said, $30 and her response was, Thats what we have in our system. Youll need to call your insurance company. She was anything but helpful. When I called my insurance they asked me if I showed them my insureance card!!! hahahahah The office staff is not very pleasant. Something has changed because when Monica was there as the MA, things were very different. Perhaps the previous NP left for a reason. I will be looking for a new primary doctor.

Dr Encarnacion is the best!!! My fiancé was in Morton Plant and she made sure that he was taken care of from the moment we were in the ER. She has great communication with her patients, nurses and specialist she is recommending.

This doctor treated me in the hospital. I never spoke to her once but her nurse practitioner. On the last day of my hospital visit she started screaming my medications and information from the nurses station where everyone could hear. She forced me to rush my diverticulitis recovery and cost me two days extra in the hospital against the advice of her own nurse practitioner. She is the worst doctor I have every experienced in my lifetime. Stay away!!! Beware!!!!!

I thought it was a tad odd that I didn’t see the actual doctor, but brushed it off since the NP was kind and knowledgeable. After a second appt. and sitting in the waiting room listening to the staff. It’s clear they are just for referrals. They wouldn’t see me again and said I had to go to my referrals? Isn’t that what a primary care doctor does treat colds and such so ppl don’t end up using specialty doctors or Ers? Maybe there’s a reason they are in a strip mall.. changing my PCP asap!

This was the worst doctors visit I have ever had. She was openly hostile and rude to me. I have never written a poor review of anyone beofore. She is awful. There is a reason her office is next to a Walmart in a strip mall. I feel sorry for her office staff because they really seemed to be caring.
