My Internal Medicine Doctor is the absolute best. I have a lot of trust in the person who helps me to stay as healthy as I can be.

My family has been with St. Lukes internal medicine for years now. Our Dr. Was John VanEtta who we loved and selfishly were so sorry to see retire. ICant say enough good things about him. Our new Dr. Is Dr. Midlo who we have seen once and were very impressed with. I have a complicated medical history and at my first visit he knew everything about me. He had done a wonderful job researching my history and I was very comfortable with him. Easy to talk with and kind.

My primary Dr. Charlie left the Silver bay clinic and went back to his home state in Arkansas (I had him from the age of about 13/14 to about 21, so a good chunk of my teen years/young adult years). He was also the one to get me into my neurologist for my migraines, so when he left he put me with his replacement Dr. Ostreich who was my primary for a solid year or two before my health got a little more in the way and since I had moved to Duluth, I needed someone closer to me, so I switched to St. Lukes internal medicine. I ended up calling them and requested a primary care there and Jennifer marksteiner actually was the one who after reviewing my history was more than willing to take me as a patient. Shes been my primary care provider (shes a certified family nurse practitioner) for a little over a year now and I absolutely LOVE the care I receive from her and my team! Thanks to her I was able to get on the right meds and into the right specialists for my digestive issues, my anxiety, depression, joint issues and thyroid issues. She even got me into a podiatrist for my feet and toes! I love her!

I seen Dr.Sanford I seen him one other time and I thought he was ok. This time I brought up the fact that I gain alot off weight being in wheelchair and im upset about it so I dont eat much if I eat at all. He said only eat fruits and vegetables.Then I told him that orthopedic surgeon was not going to replace my knees anytime soon he starts talking about my weight again im trying to tell him that is not why he wouldnt listen keep talking about losing weight so im now frustrated Stern and loud I kept telling him no thats it just no hoping he will listen that isnt working.then he makes a comment next time someone brings you a Whopper dont take it. Ok now I am Mad I then tell him very loud no its because of infection and the edema in my leg if he read my chart he would know then he looks at me a does this guess what your fired trying to sound like Donald Trump tells me im yelling and violent I have never seen someone act so ignorant. I would never want a Dr. Like that. I really wanted to yell and get mean especially after the Whopper comment. instead I cut him ogg
