After years of searching I finally found my hair saver😅! I’ve been trying to find someone who can bring my hair back, I was searching the web and by accident or actually luck, I found Mama Rosemary and even luckier she wasnt far just 8 min from my home!! I met with her a year ago and she wouldn’t cut my hair until it grew out. My past hair cuts were always the same...no style or flair but a trim on the bottom and angled on the sides and huge gaps where they tried to take out the bulk by thinning.After few years of having my hair grow out , I finally met with Mama Rose. She asked me if I want her to bring my hair backand of course was not happy cutting my hair. Thinking good or bad I needed a decent haircut so I shut my eyes and said she was in charge. Took a while but she cut my hair with precision and an attitude that everyone that leaves her chair represents her brand. She has a lot of pride and attention to detail with every cut and in the end it was the best&healthy hair I’ve ever had in my life!So happy and grateful to know her on my walk of life.Last but not least, listen on what she recommends you and youll get the best results.I thank her and highly recommend her.

Rosemary is the consummate professional!! She’s very skilled and attentive. She comes across as someone who wants to keep learning new things and shares information generously, about products you will need to maintain your hair if you are unable to make it to the salon. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my visits to her salon. Her space is also very clean - another plus for her!I had a shampoo, color and crotchet style done very recently and my experience was great! I have been a regular client of Rosemarys for 10+ years. She is THE best braider I have ever had. There was a period I could not visit her salon because of the distance and you could tell there was a difference in the health of my hair as well as the quality of my braids. Her Salon is one of the cleanest (if not the cleanest) that I have ever been to. She is very knowledgeable about her work and I always leave happy. She is the reason my hair is at the healthiest point is has been in years. Rosemary is the best with natural hair journeys as well as damage restoration etc. I consistently recommend her to friends and family and only hear good things after. 10/10 would recommend.

Ms Rosemary takes care of all of our hair essentials from braiding, to cutting, personalized hair treatments, and pressing our natural hair. I had a wonderful experience with Ms. Tali at Driz Salon! For somebody who has not been to a salon in years, I got a complete hair transformation and love it. Also, Ms. Tali gave me so much information on how to properly care for and maintain my hair. Hands down an excellent experience all around! Happy to have found this salon!

I found Driz hair salon on Google and they took me in right away as a walk-in. She didnt pressure me into doing my hair instead she gave me a consult first. I was pleased with the hair service and great recommendations as my hair was breaking off. She gave me a nice cut and shampoo and I loved the way she styled my hair. I will definitely be going back. I definitely recommend this shop to others.

Rosemary was awesome to work with. I have very dense long natural hair, and she was extremely patient and meticulous with my hair. It feels great, looks amazing, and is only going to get better. I have had a lot of negative salon experiences, and I am still surprised by how comfortable I was getting my hair done with Rosemary. I know that I will keep coming here for styling and maintenance. For once, Im actually excited about continuing to get my hair done!

I just got my hair braid there today and I got one of the best shampoo ever.

On Saturday I received exemplary services from Ms. Rosemary. She truly made me feel welcomed and valuable as a new customer. My appointment was for a shampoo and sew-in with closure. She started on time and was focused on me. She did an excellent job and was meticulous in caring for my hair prior to the sew-in. She was very concerned about the natural appearance of my closure, as am I, and really really did a great job with it- an exceptional job. She was kind throughout my appointment and met my needs and gave me everything I wanted with my hair. 5 stars for sure!

Rosemary did my relaxer and was so informative and patient with my questions and concerns. The service was excellent and my hair is in much better condition. I look forward to my next visit!

I wanted to try something new with my natural hair so I came to Driz Salon today to get finger coils in. They made sure I knew how to take care of my hair and explained helpful hair care tips to keep it nice and healthy. You can tell she really cares for her clients hair growth and beauty, and it shows in her work as well. 10/10.👏🏽👏🏽

I was recommended to this salon by a friend to see Rosemary. I went in for a consultation with Rosemary and she referred me to her partner Talia. I was hesitant because my friend recommended Rosemary. Nonetheless, I came back 2 days later for Talia to do my hair. I came early to see the type of work Talia did. I should have left after she finished the client before me. I thought her hair is different, texture, style etc. all different. Maybe my experience will be better. NOPE! My natural hair is fine loose curls, not tight. I asked for flat twist out. I showed here a picture and she said that would be easy on my hair. Talia told me I needed a trim. I did not want her to cut my hair because this was the first time going to her. I proceeded with caution because she said she would trim it and was not cut happy. Because my curls have been butchered before, I am very cautious. She began the trim and I asked questions to make sure I was not going to get butchered. She began pulling my hair in a manner that would leave me with a shelf. I stopped her. She gave some excuse about how she cuts. In the end, what should have been 1/4 of an inch was 2 inches of my curls on the floor. Long and short of the rest of the appointment: I asked for flat twist. She is heavy handed and I was in pain just from twist. The style was some 80s triangle shaped hot mess on my head, 2 inches shorter and she sprayed it with hair spray so it was sticky. $95 and 4 hours later, I left extremely unhappy. I dont normally write reviews, but thought it necessary if you a natural with fine hair. If you have thick hair and want braids, perhaps your experience will be better. The next morning, I washed my hair because I couldnt do anything with it because it was sticky and frizzy. So I wasted money and 1/2 of my saturday. BEWARE! I was to return in a week for box braids. I passed with the current experience and she was going to charge me $250. You wont get me twice.

Rosemary was so great that I know I will be back again. I called and was able to get in the same day. Rosemary washed, conditioned, clipped my dead ends and natural braids in less than 3 hours.

Amazing! I have been with 1 stylist for 15 years and every time I’ve tried someone else my experience has been sub par except for today! Thalia arrived at the salon 20 minutes before my appointment (I was early as well), she greeted me sincerely and then quickly and expertly reviewed my hair and came up with a plan. I washed my hair and received 2 treatments and received a silk press and through the entire service she provided great conversation, was efficient and provided knowledge that I could take home to better care for my hair. Needless to say I am very impressed and I will be back! Thanks Thalia!

They help extract; now Im wearing my hair natural for 5 years. My hair is in the best condition it has ever been. I always have wonderful experience. Ms. Rosemary has been a saving grace in my hair care journey! Ive seen my hair go from damaged, split, and short to long and healthy. Her box braids are painless and extremely quick. I came from a salon where my braids have been so tight that I had little red and white bumps. But Ive never had negative experiences like that at DRIZ! I was used to painful braids where you cant sleep comfortably for days. Now, after going to Ms. Rosemary for many years, Im so happy with what shes done for me. My edges are intact and my hair is happy. Wonderful salon!

I have been coming to Driz Hair Salon for about 8 months. I was sold during the first visit and cant imagine going anywhere else for my natural hair. In addition to consistently great styling, the prices are reasonable and the stylists are very conscientious of your time. They NEVER overbook, giving me and their other clients the time and attention they deserve, getting us out the door within a reasonable amount of time. Keep in mind, this doesnt mean you wont wait a few seconds to minutes after sitting under the dryer. Id say that for at least 90% of my appointment, Im a singular focus of my stylists attention.When I first came to the salon, my hair was significantly damaged due to several years of daily manipulation by my own unskilled/unknowledgeable hands and poor treatment by the most recent stylists I saw for protective styling extensions, leading me to lose the edges around my hairline (and I do mean bald patches).During my first visit to Driz, I was educated about what was wrong with my hair and how I could take better care of it. Despite being natural for about 6 years, I was just learning how to care for my hair, so I had A LOT of questions. Tali and Rosemary were patient and answered them in detail, letting me know that they werent trying to keep me reliant on them for basic maintenance. They built a lot of trust within minutes, explaining their hair philosophy and treatment practices of NEVER utilizing any techniques/products that significantly compromise the integrity and health of hair. They were also very honest with me about their opinions when I inquired about hairstyles that may not be flattering for me, particularly considering the damaged/fragile state of my hair.For the past several months, I have been wearing crochet braids to allow my hair to recover. With each visit, my hair is given the royal treatment, in order to protect it before putting it to bed so to speak. Since my transition to Driz, my edges have mostly recovered and there are no more bald patches.On an interpersonal note, Tali, Rosemary, and Chris are very friendly and engaging. You know they care about each other because they act like siblings (hilarious to listen to). They engage with EACH of their clients like old friends, asking about your work and family. By the end of my first visit, I felt as though I had known them for years. I, personally, am very civic minded and try to stay engaged. While living in a southern culture that has historically frowned upon public political discussions, its nice to be in an environment where we can discuss anything from pop culture to international affairs, all of which have sparked a number of delightful and sometimes, um,...intense debates. Lol. I LOVE IT!!! I often leave feeling as though Ive expanded my awareness and grown.So, Im trying to think of some areas of improvement to make sure this is a thorough review. The only thing that comes to mind is that I wish I didnt have to get up so early for appointments. This is because I drive about 90 minutes to get there. Before you ask: Yes, its worth it!
