My mother recently began to need assistance in her home. After searching for possibilities for assistance in her area, I came upon A Trusted Family Companion (ATFC) in Drexel Hill. This is a care giving business owned by Dr. Anamaria Cobo of Drexel Hill. During the interview, it became obvious that Dr. Annie is an educated, responsible, and caring person. I encouraged mother to engage her for her care.Since Dr. Annie was so close by, she was frequently able to personally care for mom. Dr. Annie frequently communicated with me to understand mother’s changing needs and was constantly proactive in anticipating and communicating her needs. Dr. Annie has much experience dealing with caregivers such as Hospice providers. She was able to help the family understand what services and supplies could be provided by her team and by Hospice. She also assisted in ways well beyond that expected from her role as a caregiver.I would not allow mother to be subject to the care of someone who was not a thoughtful and compassionate person. During the course of her care with ATFC it became apparent that Dr. Annie was a hard working, selfless, dedicated, and an extraordinarily caring person. I was amazed at her genuine affection for mother and her many communications about her progress and anticipated needs. It would be ideal if all caregivers were as educated, proactive, and caring as Dr. Annie. There is but one Dr. Annie, however, and mother and I were most fortunate to meet and be assisted by Dr. Annie and her helpers.Dr. Annie is an outstanding and beautiful person who has earned the highest possible recommendation. Anamaria was a tremendous help with my fathers recovery from a fractured hip after a fall. Her assistance with his stay in the nursing care center made for his much faster and more complete healing and rehabilitation. Anamaria smoothed his transition home and helped to guide and support his return to independent living. She had a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with our family to help us all through this challenging time. Her participation in my Dads care gave our family much needed peace of mind. Anamaria Cobo is excellent at elder care, my father in law broke his hip a couple years ago. When he came home from rehab she was an important part of helping him become independent again and giving us some time to get other things done. I would recommend her business and skills to anyone.

My siblings and I hired Anamaria to care for my Dad after my mother passed away. This allowed my Dad to stay in the comfort of his own home. Anamaria provided the most wonderful care and compassion to my Dad. She took him to the grocery store almost every day and made sure his daily needs were met. Dr Cabo and Trusted Family Companion came into my life at the right moment.2 years ago my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. The compassionate care that Dr. Cabo gave my husband and the relief I experienced with her support were hard to quantify. I’ll always be grateful that we were able to find such a perfect companion and caregiver for my husband. Living with a person who has dementia can be difficult but with Trusted Family Companion the situation has become much better in every way.
