I am horrified by Dr. Clarks manipulation that has resulted in a great deal more cash in his pocket. I brought my relative in for a necessary procedure. His staff insisted that I allow them to charge $375 on my credit card, and that I would get a refund of whatever was left after my relatives very good insurance paid. He called me during the procedure to convince me that she needed IV anesthesia for the procedure, and I agreed. However, he did not properly document why IV anesthesia was necessary. As a result, insurance did not cover it. The horrifying part is that insurance would have reimbursed him $95 for IV anesthesia - the agreed amount. But hes charging us $625 for it. He did not properly document the need for it because he knew that he would get $625 from us vs. the $95 from the insurance company. Its truly disgusting. I have called his office multiple times over the last few months. I have been told by staff members that he has promised that he would call me back to discuss this, but he never has done so. I am pursuing this with appeals to the insurance company, and submitting it as a fraudulent charge to my credit card company. In the meantime, I think its really important to warn others about his amoral practice of scamming hundreds of dollars from every vulnerable patient on whom he performs a procedure.

Recommended. Thanks to Dr. Richard Clark for answering a request from my primary dentist and graciously staying late at the office to perform my oral surgery on 10 February 2020. I also appreciated Dr. Clarks upbeat, kind and caring style.

Dr. Clark is a really funny and knowledgeable doctor. He did surgery for me, along with Dr. Daly, when I was 13 years old. Then he took care of my daughter 4 years ago when she was 13 years old to remove an extra molar before she could get braces. Today he removed two teeth for me. He even told me he’d have a pizza ready for me when I woke up lol. Point is he knows his stuff, he has excellent bedside manner (especially if your a baby like me). I’d recommend him and this practice to anyone!!! Thanks Dr. Clark!!

Dr. Clark took the time to help me understand my condition and answer any and all of my questions, which was impressive! It is rare to find a doctors office that actually cares - I would feel very confident sending my closest family members to this office.

Horrible experience at this office. I was referred to this office by my regular dentist to have a broken tooth pulled. I gave them my insurance and employment information and was taken in back to have 1 additional X-Ray done. After the X-Ray they took me back to the front office where they proceeded to tell me that before they could extract the tooth they would need a $350 deposit up front, even though I had insurance. When I informed them that I did not have the money to pay them that day and to please bill my insurance and me they told me that they would not be able to perform the surgery. Now mind you, the tooth is broken, has a temporary filling that is cracking because my regular dentist had to drill down to where the root is exposed to determine if a crown would be an ideal fix for this tooth, and I am in pain. Also, with an open tooth, it is possible to get a heart infection if not taken care of promptly. All signs point to dental emergency, however, this surgeon looked at me and shrugged his shoulders proceeding to tell me that if I was in pain and wanted it fixed I would have more incentive to come up with the deposit money. The operating rooms were dirty and outdated and the staff, besides one young dental assistant who was very nice, were rude and uncaring. I cannot believe this office is still operating under these conditions and with this complete disregard for the health of their patients. If you value your health and safety I would strongly recommend NOT seeing this surgeon.SincerelyA Concerned Citizen
