Moved here 5 years ago. Needed a new dentist. Asked around and read reviews. Based on reviews and recommendations, I chose the Civillico practice and have been going there twice a year for 5 years with professional and excellent care and customer service each time. I highly recommend this practice!

This terrible dentist had my last review removed so here goes again!Literally the worst dentist I have ever been to. I asked for a teeth cleaning and what I got was a bunch of X-rays on my bill I had to pay for when I said I didnt want anything more than a cleaning and hurt teeth. The doctor came in the room and immediately started poking around in my mouth without gloves on. Then he puts gloves on and proceeds to clean my teeth with powder from a 99 cent box of baking soda. He cleaned my teeth so rough and quick it left my teeth extra sensitive for weeks. Finally I get a bill in the mail telling me I owed money. How could this be when I asked for my annual teeth cleaning and that is fully covered? The charges were from the xrays they did when I asked for them not to because they are not covered. Since when does no mean yes? Anyway, do not go to this dentist if you value your life or the quality of your teeth or you dont want to be scammed!Stop deleting my review!!

Dr. Civillico also works at the Philadelphia Veterans Hospital in University City, Philly. He is awesome! He treats us vets like family. Never compromises excellence of care with a painstaking VA mentality. I am extremely fortunate than I am under his care.

I can’t express enough how fabulous this place is! Dr Civillico and hygienist Lisa are always very friendly and greet you with a smile. Both are always on time, and very professional but personable. I have extremely sensitive teeth and I could fall asleep in the chair... that’s how gentle they are!! Love this place❤️

Been going here for a few years and excellent experience and whatever i need get done or if he sees something and he may give me recommendations, and he gives out good .

Worst experience ever! First visit seemed well and all but the filling the guy did on my tooth was not done properly since there was still a hole in my tooth. So I came back for them to fix it but the guy was trying convince me he filled a different tooth and not the one I pointed out! Takes a lot to admit you were wrong but this guy obviously was not able to do that and was trying to convince me I was lying! Based on some of the comments on here it seems some people had a similar experience like me. Do yourself a favor and go to a different practice.

I made an appointment with this dentist office because of the reviews on Zoc Doc. The office is very clean and the staff is friendly but the dentist does the teeth cleaning which I already knew. However, my teeth cleaning wasnt pleasant. I felt very nervous the entire time. The dentist was moving extremely fast. There were a few times the suction tube was drop directly in my mouth towards the back of my throat. After he was done filling my cavity and scraping the plaque off my teeth, I was then dismiss. Usually when I get teeth cleanings its followed up by polishing and flossing. Which I didnt receive at all. This is a family owned dentist office. The father is there full time and the son is only there certain days. Im very disappointed because it wasnt nothing compare to the reviews I have read.

My first visit was great. The small staff was pleasant. A few days after my appointment I called the office about some sensitivity I was having with the tooth the youngest doctor did a filling on. After the receptionist consulted with the doctor she told me that he said it was normal and to call back in some time if the sensation didnt go away. I ended up going back for a follow up and It was unbelievable how rude he was being. I was told that the filling was done perfectly and theres no reason why I should be experiencing any sensitivity. He ended up doing it again. Long story short he drilled waaay to much into my tooth which resulted in me missing work because of the pain and having to see a different doctor to get a root canal and cap which had to be paid for out of pocket.

Was a bit disappointed on my last visit as my wrong tooth got pulled,an felt like I wasnt treated as good as I used to be. Was always available to fit me in on emergencies but that last visit changed my rating from 5 to 1

Great dentist. Wouldn’t go to anyone else.

If i could put 100 stars i would they are the epitomy of well respected well professional. compassionate caring understanding gental professional. theres no words to explain how much they have helped me with my bad teeth and the rates are reasonable and they are flexible. if i could i would refer the whole city to them because this is exactly how a practice should be done! i will never go anywhere except here on bywood. michele,
