We came to Edmonds Eye Associates for treatment of my sons post-concussion syndrome vision problems. From the first day we knew we had found the right place. Dr. Chad Edmonds and Dr. Scott Edmonds were so knowledgeable and supportive. I would recommend their services 100 percent.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I was seen at my appointment time. No waiting and I was greeted with courtesy. Once my thorough and comprehensive exam was completed, the two eyeglass associates were extremely helpful in assisting me in selecting a frame that suited my face and my prescription requirements. The office was clean and I witnessed the staff maintain the cleanliness of the office and materials while I was there. I highly recommend this office for eye care.

The staff at this practice is phenomenal! They are kind, professional, knowledgeable, and most of all On Time. I love this group, from the front desk to the student interns. Also, the optical dept has a plethora of frames to choose from. So, go-ahead. Make you appointment now.

Great family group…they were a major part of my concussion treatment from my car accident and I continue to go to them for eye care & glasses…I refer them to family, friends and clients…it a bit of a drive but totally worth it!!

My child has been a patient here since April, she gets weekly vision therapy for a sports related injury. We usually see Dr. Chad Edmonds; from the first minute we stepped into his office in Great Valley we were welcomed by his kind staff & him. I have to say after seeing so many doctors Dr. Edmonds was the first to let us know that our child had more than a concussion and explained to us it’s more than that, and let us know he would call it a TBI. He was so kind and let me stay in the room as he was doing all of these different tests on my child. I really appreciated that, bc most of the other doctors that we had seen prior had me sitting and waiting, probably due to covid-19 concerns. He was so good at explaining everything he was doing..watching him lower the lights, hearing how his voice would get more quiet at times...it was so helpful for myself to see and learn as I am my child’s caregiver. I had honestly never heard of eye/vision therapy to help the brain. But Dr. Edmonds just has a way of explaining things, that really put you at ease..his knowledge about TBI’s is really quite amazing.Dr. Edmonds really makes you feel like you can ask or tell him anything. I myself have a TBI, so I shared with him. I never had any types of therapies like my daughter, and that has given me so much hope. He reassured me that each TBI is different, and that by having her in vision and PT along w some other therapies she will make a full recovery. He gave me so much reassurance that she’s where she needs to be and that I am doing all that I can.Another thing that Dr. Edmonds helped me with..(and I’m not even his patient..) He explained how important it was to obtain the accident and health/sport organization’s insurance info. I explained that I would and had been trying but my child’s sports organization was giving me the run around. He took the time to just let us know that it’s imperative that we get this organizations information..and explained how once we have their organizations’ info I wouldn’t have to come out of pocket for the copays.The very next day I was on the phone w my child’s sports organization demanding the policy info to give to my child’s doctors..I probably would still be paying out of pocket if he didn’t take the time and really say, “Hey, they need to give you that info, stay on them.”We are so thankful to be under his care.

Dont even know where to start... Do not see this organization. I had gone for a visit with Scott Edmonds, but when arriving ended up with his son, Chad. Come to find out, even then, that he wasnt going to see me. Some lady, who was actually very nice, kept going in and out of the room to talk to someone who refused to come in. Come to find out I was being physically assessed by a student AND NO ONE TOLD ME!! The actual doctor was outside of the room and NEVER came in to do his own physical assessment. So at this point, he only obtained information second hand from a students assessment... and then guess what... He finally comes into the room and tells me my convergence issue is MADE UP IN MY HEAD... that it is ALL JUST MY PERCEPTION... and that NO SURGEON WOULD TOUCH ME. I mean COME ON!!! Who taught Chad here his bedside manners?! This is wildly unacceptable from a healthcare professional and I have taken this to the PA ethics review board. No one should be treated like this, ever. It is astonishing the level of unprofessionalism that was on display top to bottom at this organization. (I guess Chad is a meme for a reason?)

Dr.Scott Edmonds and the rest of his partners are top notch physicians. I’ve been under his care for five years and receive the best care. He specializes in brain injuries and concussion related visual symptoms. He has helped me tremendously. The rest of his staff are just as excellent. It’s a friendly and pleasant environment. Everyone is very professional and supportive. Every physician’s office should be like this. I truly love going to the Edmonds Practice.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Susan Edmonds for many years. I would highly recommend Dr. Edmonds and the whole office. I always receive a very thorough exam. I had an issue yesterday and they got me right in. The receptionist was very professional and I Dr. Edmonds made me feel very comfortable. I can not say enough about the office.

I started going here several years ago when I needed a doctor that accepted Davis Eye Insurance for glasses and contacts. Like that they have downtown and suburban locations. Have gotten good service at both. Husband and wife are both doctors and very thorough. Only reason it gets 4 stars is that Davis doesnt cover contact lens exam and the $108 fee (including 15%) discount for having Davis seems very high but admittedly I havent compared this price to a non-Davis shop in many years.

Everyone at Edmonds Eye Associates is super friendly and helpful. During this pandemic, they make sure the waiting room is not crowded and everyone is weariBrainerd and safe. Dr Neiderer is awesome! She takes the time to explain what shes doing and why. Shes also very patient with any questions you have and you never feel rushed. We moved to Delco last year and our family here recommended Edmonds. Picking new doctors can be stressful. This decision was a no brainer.

We had a great experience with Dr. Michele Kane. She was wonderful with my daughter and did a very thorough exam. Dr. Kane really took her time and made the exam fun. She was also very patient answering my daughter’s many questions. We will definitely return!

My visit with Edmond Eye associates was quite pleasant from the staff and optometrists.Covid19 safe practices are in place in office from seating, to the eye exam, to eye glass try on, to check in and out procedure. The office is modern and inviting. The staff are pleasant and professional. The service is exceptional and thorough. We visited there first time for my 7yo daughter. Dr.Michele Kane was awesome and was very interested with my sweetheart. She patiently answered my daughters endless questions which make her comfortable. Thank you so much for making my daughters first eye doctor visit fun! Dr. Edmonds Sr is a very competent and thorough eye doctor. His examinations are very comprehensive. He Is extremely personable and does a great job in explaining your eye exam. I’ve been a patient of his and Edmonds Eye Associates / Great Valley Eye for over 20 years.

The technician at Dr. Edmonds is fantastic, however, I cannot say the same for the treating physician. The physician told me that my eyesight will never improve due to age and that the injury I received just sped up the inevitable. He said there was nothing he could do for me because my eyesight was better than the average person for my age. Told me to just get a pair of dollar store glasses and if I wanted to go back for additional therapy then I can go back and if I didnt want to, then dont. His delivery was very cold and callous. I was assaulted three months ago and prior to that I had never had problems with my vision so chalking the vision issues up to age is questionable. There was no real explanation other than Youre almost 40 and vision starts to worsen between 40-45.... I could find a better explanation on Google. I had been going to Dr. Edmonds for a few visits and always appreciated the work of the actual tech but the Dr.s smug attitude left much to be desired. It was as if he actually enjoyed telling me that my vision would not get back to what is normal for me. I left feeling defeated. I would never recommend this facility to anyone (which is a shame because the tech really is such a sweetheart!). I will be obtaining a second opinion and contrary to what this Dr. said, my vision will improve.

They are the absolute best. All of the staff are very professional and thorough. I highly recommend Edmonds Eye Associates to anyone especially those who experience anxiety during eye exams. My injury has caused me to experience anxiety when having my eyes checked. I am so fortunate to have been serviced specifically by Michele M. Kane. She has a very caring spirit and immediately helped to calm me when i began to experience anxiety during my visit. She is very patient, understanding and over all just a sweet individual.
