I have been involved with Ameritech for a year and a half. I absolutely love the staff and employees here. Everyone here is always willing to help students succeed. From my experience, most students choose to attend Ameritech because of the cost and the state of the art simulation center....it really feels like a hospital and students can get SO much valuable hands-on experience. Also, Ameritechs clinical relationships with other hospitals/medical centers is excellent and reputable. Ameritech College is definitely an elite program with competitive pricing and a great education. Highly recommend if you want to start working in the nursing field ASAP!

Ive been involved with Ameritech for the last year and have been continually impressed with its staff, students, and faculty. The depth and breath of programs and offerings cater to a wide variety of students and lifestyles which is so hard to find in higher education. From day one Ameritech is concerned about each student success, and is a wonderful choice for anyone considering a degree in healthcare.

I was a student in the BSN program at Ameritech. Ameritech exceeded my expectations in terms of rigor, time, and money. If you compare Ameritech to other institutions in the area with similar programs it is the least expensive option! The small class sizes made getting one on one time with instructors super easy. The instructors also make sure you know they care about you and want you to succeed. Even with lecture classes transitioning to zoom because of COVID-19 the instructors stayed at the top of their game. If you want to be a nurse I highly recommend attending Ameritech.

Ameritech College is a great nursing school in Utah, for anyone who wants to pursue a nursing degree. I was so impressed that they have different tracks for students - to finish fast like the Accelerated BSN program and the Direct Entry MSN program. Or go the regular routine with their 3 year BSN program. Whatever track you choose, the quality of the programs are guaranteed by their staff with years of experience in the nursing field. Also, the other benefit of studying here is that they give extensive training for students to prepare for the NCLEX exam, no wonder their pass rates are so high. Their Draper campus is conveniently located right off I-15, by making it easy to access not only for Utah residents, but also students from other nearby states like Nevada or Colorado.

Ameritech is a great college. Ive been involved with the institution for more than a year and have been impressed since day one. The focus on the students and preparing them for their future careers is a priority. The nursing programs offered allow individuals to join the healthcare field at just about any stage; whether its at an ASN level or Master’s level. Ameritech even offers programs for career changers in both its Accelerated BSN and Direct Entry-MSN programs. I definitely recommend this school.

I went to school here and graduated in 2014. I had teachers that cared about my experience, some of which are still teaching here to this very day! The programs have expanded from just an ASN program to a BSN and even an MSN. I wish they had that when I went to school there.

My daughter goes here and is loving it thus far! She was able to pick the classes that worked best with her work schedule. The instructors are responsive and care about her learning & well-being. Im also excited for the new SIM lab to open this fall which will add to her nursing experience. I love that my daughter is able to attend Ameritech College! Knowing that she is in a safe environment which allows her to stretch & grow as a nursing student is refreshing!!

Ive worked for Ameritech College of Healthcare a little over a year now. I continue to be impressed with the quality of the faculty, leadership, and drive for continuous improvement. From day one, employees are engaged in the culture and strategy of the institution and are truly made to feel ownership of successful outcomes. My coworkers go above and beyond in their areas of responsibility and still find time to collaborate effectively with others. We humbly learn together, celebrate together, and care for one another. The work environment is challenging and were stretched in the best of ways to help accomplish goals. Not a week goes by that I dont accomplish something to be really proud of! Ameritech makes me feel good about myself. I witness the positive energy and engagement of others and work has become the best part of my day.For the first time, that I know of, weve been creating student jobs. We recently hired six star students to be teaching assistants for A & P. Theyre fans! To see their positive impression of the employee side of Ameritech has added further affirmation to me about how amazing this college is and how we change the lives of students, employees, and our communities. It makes me so happy that their contagious positive attitudes will now also spread through the college. In closing, be a student here, work here, come visit! Your life will gain more meaning!

I am entering my third semester at Ameritech and am happy about the education I am receiving. I am returning to school after receiving a Bachelors degree in a different field 8 years ago. The school has provided me the support I need as a non-traditional student, and the teachers are flexible and willing to take extra time to ensure I am understanding the material. The teachers take the time to with me one-on-one and review exams. If teachers have not had an available time posted that worked with my schedule they have been more than willing to schedule a time to meet that worked for me.The anatomy and physiology teachers are amazing and Katie offers weekly reviews and tutoring sessions. The school in currently in the process of updating their labs and getting a brand new cadaver lab.Yes, the school is expensive and they do run it like a business (as they should). However, in the process of running a successful business they are providing me with a great education and I have 100% confidence I will be ready for the NCLEX upon graduation and will pass it on my first try. If you are looking to become an RN in less than two years then this is a great program to consider! FYI the expensive tuition covers books, supplies, scrubs, nursing tools (stethoscope, etc.), and tuition - they lay it all out for you up front.I hope this review can benefit someone. As I was reading through reviews I noticed in the reply from the school there was no record of said person attending the school. I would recommend this school again and again to friends and family, and it was recommended to me from a family member who attended in the past.

No starts given. The comments below speak for themselves. This school is the worst place you could go. They are only concerned about making money and not about teaching their students. You teach yourself at Ameritech. A couple of years ago this was a good school but not anymore. A new owner has resulted in this being treated more like a business than a school. They do not care for their students or their concerns. They only care about the check that is being writes to them. Save your time and your money and go somewhere else.

I will not give this school any stars, It is the worst school you could chose to attend. When you first go in they promise the best education and act like they are going to do everything to help you succeed, when in reality the instructors are horrible, they do not work with you, and they do not teach you anything, it is like they want you to fail so that you have to repay to take the classes again. They are more interested in making money . I would never recommend this school to any one.

This school has been the biggest disappointment. After new ownership, it has been nothing but money driven. Tuition is now $50,000 with or without transfer credits and due to not enough people failing, the grading for classes has changed so more people will fail (quoted by a current teacher). There have been so many problems with new hired teachers- who are teaching some of the hardest classes, and after taking concerns to administrators by the majority of cohorts, nothing is being done. If you want to go to a school where you teach yourself, Ameritech is the place to go. Administration has no concern to follow through with complaints of students. Spend your money somewhere else and get the proper education there.

Loved the classes, but where they gave some students second chances, others just got the boot. There are unfair practices going on. They do not work with work schedules. In fact the second semester they said you would not be able to do it if you worked full time. That was not an option for me since I have to support myself. They said nothing about that when signing up, I feel they should divulge that to students who don’t live at home. And again done students got to retake a clinical they missed. I was late and got kicked out.

Reputable instructors, nclex preparation, but lack of support within administration. Strictly business. Disappointed to find out that credits only transfer to few universities. If continuing on with another college, you’ll have to repeat Anatomy and Physiology, as Ameritech does not include a Lab portion which many colleges require for transfer credit. Do your research, and talk to recent graduates. Invest in a college that is willing to listen and invests in you.

If you want to attend a school that doesnt care about its students, go to Ameritech. If you want to attend a school that is incredibly disorganized and registration is done at the very last minute with a finicky system that may or may not even let you enroll in your classes in time? This is the school for you. My husband is on to his 3rd semester at Ameritech and we are looking for another accelerated nursing program, and seriously questioning if UVU would have been a better fit, even with a longer process. He got great grades at UVU, and this entire semester at Ameritech has been such a struggle, not because the material is extremely challenging, but because often the material online differs from info given in class. Nor does homework coordinate with the tests. For a school that costs an arm and a leg, youd think youd at least be getting a decent education. We questioned sending him to Ameritech because nurses he worked with at the State prison hadnt mastered skills he learned at UVU in the AEMT program. Now we know why.I am not impressed.

I cannot review the program itself because at the last minute I chose not to attend, which ended up being the best decision ever.I was becoming increasingly nervous about not getting into ANY nursing school; the competition is real. After looking into Ameritech, I met with Michelle Pollock, who interviewed me (really, it was just a selling point for the school) and gave me a tour of the campus. Everything seemed impressive except for the price of the program ($60,000) for the ADN, but thats expected with a private school. I began studying for the ATI TEAS entrance exam, except they dont make you do the science portion, which is so nice, but is another way to get people accepted without that much effort (the science section is ridiculously hard). After hours of studying, I began to wonder if all of this effort was worth going to a private institution for my ADN. I started researching bachelor nursing programs and if credits from the ADN would be transferable to other institutions, it sounded like they may not transfer. I then looked into the BSN accreditation that Ameritech holds (in case I got stuck taking their program) and discovered that they were denied accreditation by ACEN for their BSN program due to several VERY CONCERNING topics...(look it up!) They are now accredited through CCNE for the BSN program...I guess this accreditation hasnt caught on to all the horror stories I have heard from past students. I also wanted and needed to know how much more the BSN program would cost me if I were to get stuck taking it through Ameritech. After all of this research I began emailing Michelle my concerning questions and I got ZERO response. Up until this point I was responded to within 2 days max; I emailed a lot and always got a response every time. This school does not ignore potential students. I mean, $60,000...how could they ignore us? After repeated emails I called the front desk for information and they somehow knew nothing about the program, but game me an additional email of the Nursing Director, who also IGNORED my questions about the BSN program. After weeks of trying to talk with SOMEONE..ANYONE through emails, voice messages, and the receptionist with absolutely no response...I ran far away from this school. Something fishy is going on and I think it has to do with ripping students off by taking all of our money and leaving us with a semi-decent education.I wanted to share this experience in hopes someone doesnt get screwed over by this very FOR-PROFIT institution. Today, I am accepted and about to start attending Utah States Nursing program. For the future students, just hold off and keep applying for reputable institutions. It will be worth it.
