If you’re thinking of sending your loved ones to this facility please look elsewhere. I worked here as a CNA and the only reason I’m giving it one star is because I loved my patients. They’re very short staffed and anytime I would ever ask for help they told me to figure it out. The only time the higher ups care at this facility is when the state comes because they want high scores. Don’t even get me started on the nepotism that goes on here. There are people in power that favor relatives and friends and give them anything they want even though they have no business working in this field. It’s unethical and not okay. They want to increase star rating reviews by having severe memory loss residents “leave a review”. No one is held accountable for anything!! This facility is a scam and will do anything to get your money.

I have been a resident here for 3 1/2 years. I have only been to one other skilled facility but this one is better than the other. Things arent always perfect but I feel that I can go to members of management and they will listen to any concerns I have. They have a great Activity Department that offers a bunch of different activities to keep us busy and the Therapy team is awesome!

I have spent the summer at Draper Rehabilitation and Care Center as a graduate intern. I have called Draper rehab my home for about 10 years now. If you need to stay in a facility for a short or long amount of time I would stay here. I have been to other places and these guys make you feel like you are their family. The therapy staff is really good as well as the others and they always plan fun things for us to do. Before covid they were always planning parties for us and our families to help us all stay involved. Even though Covid has changed things they have tried to keep us interacting with our families!

As the Administrator at Draper Rehab, I am so proud of the Draper team. The management team has an average length of service of 7.5 years and all our staff are completely dedicated to our residents. With approximately 60 residents, we operate like a home run by family. This is a great place to work and for our residents to live.

This was the worst place i ever worked. new management is desperately needed. No communication, ridiculous amounts of nepotism, shabby building, poor care from medical staff. they offered some staff gift cards to leave positive reviews because no one wants to work here. turn over rate is horrible. The photos you see are all staged on the remodled side of the building most the building doenst look anywhere near that nice. I would be ashamed to ever leave a loved one here.

My mother in law has been in this facility for awhile now and they are completely awful. When she first got there they tried to argue with her about the medication she was on and refused to give it to her. Theres hardly any space in her room due to her roommate having so much stuff. She can hardly move her wheelchair around to use the bathroom. They have made her miss orthopedic appointments for her broken foot. They are just overall irresponsible. Youd think working in this line of business the staff would try harder to help accommodate the patients and want to help them. Apparently not at this place. I would never recommend this facility.

I am not one to do online reviews at all but DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS HERE! My mom has been there for little over a month. They can not get themselves together at all. She has missed not one but two appointments over the span of her stay (that directly dictate her being able to come home) due to their complete lack of competence. Her insurance is now running out and they want $6,000 A DAY for something that could have been avoided from the beginning had they gotten their life together. If 0 stars was possible thats the review i would proudly give them. No amount of staff care or a$$ kissing will ever change my mind on this place. Save yourself and family member the headache. Literally anywhere else is much more capable of caring for your loved ones.

My mom spent some time here. I am torn of how to rate the facility as she had some amazing help here and there were a couple of people who made all the difference, thank you Eileen. My mom had an accident and has was hospitalized for 3 months and needed rehab after the hospital stay and she was out of work, so no insurance. She still has 2yrs until she qualifies for medicare and we had to get her on medicaid. She has spent her life working and this is the kind of situation medicaid is designed for. She hasnt ever had to rely on any kind of govt assistance in her life, she has WORKED and put part of her paychecks into this sort of thing. From the beginning she was treated as a medicaid patient. When she arrived she was put into a large room with a big TV and as she was settling in someone came in and told they put her in the wrong room and that they didnt know she was a medicaid case and was put into a much more basic room. Which is fine but they didnt have to throw in we didnt know you were on medicaid. Over the course of her 3 three month stay there was one nurse in particular who consistently made it a point through snide and rude remarks to her about the facility not getting compensated for her care. My mom didnt complain for a while because she thought she would be targeted if she did. After she finally complained to HR, the nurse was talked to but she still tactfully and with a smile treated my mom the same as before. It cant help the healing/rehabilitating process if you are being bullied by the people who are supposed to be helping you. Nurses are supposed to heal and help people and not care where funds are coming from.

My husband came here after his foot was amputated for occupational and physical therapy. Although the therapists were great, nothing else about this facility is acceptable. My husband is a diabetic and on a diabetic diet and one morning he was given poached eggs the consistency of tire rubber on a bed of leftover yellow cake.Whenever he needed anything he had to go look for a nurse because his call light was never answered. Every time I walked into the hallway I saw 6 to 8 call lights blinking up and down the hall and the staff just ignored them. One of my husbands nurses was trying to take his pain medication for himself, trying to give him something less effective than the medication he was supposed to be getting. When we tried to get my husband transferred, the admission director added false statements about my husbands unwillingness to perform his physical and occupational therapy despite working his guts out 6 days a week 3-4 hours every day. When we confronted her about what she had done she said she hadnt physically said anything about my husband to anyone. I honestly dont know how this facility is still in business. If you are reading this because you are looking for a place for your loved one, please go somewhere else. Anywhere else is better than here.

My mom was here for almost 1 week and that was TOO long, the rehab department was AWESOME! Everything else was not good, long wait times for assistance with bathroom, staff doesnt listen to family or patients, food tastes HORRIBLE and presentation is even worse. The only other plus we would give this place is that the long term residents who live there seem to be very kind, but i fell bad for them, they deserve better. I understand being short staffed (which they seem to be), but no excuse to not shower someone when its been 5 days since their last shower or not noticing or caring that they didnt get a dinner tray, til i showed up almost 2 hours after trays were passed out. Ugh, maybe all facilities are this bad :( i hope not.

It makes me sad that I have to give them a STAR at all. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE! My relative would be better off at a high school nursing class. The staff is not responsive and delay the delivery of medications more than recommended delay. Relative had requested “care” and after 4 hours we (the family) finally did their (the nursing/staff) job for them. The food is horrendous and the tray/leftover food isn’t removed until the next meal. “Beyond pathetic” is the true rank they should be seeing. It is ridiculous they can bill the insurance company.Staff is demeaning to patient and patient’s visitors. We are actively looking to transfer our loved one. I am seriously nervous for patient’s life and wellbeing.Do your relative a favor and send them anywhere else. Such a sad and helpless feeling.

My mom has been here not even a week and my impressions with the staff are not great. The night staff are always in a grumpy mood. They treat my mother like an animal that doesnt get attention and the proper care. They dont clean out the room or empty the trash cans. My family members that visit my mother say not one nurse comes to check on my mother for assistance etc. I think the last rehab facility my mother was at had better care for patients than this place. The staff was very loving and caring to their patients and was always there right away when they need something. This place is like a prison. I think your staff needs to act like they love their job and care for others or find a major that will make them happy

I placed my husband in this facility because they were supposed to have a rehab program of quality. Its the nursing area that is horrible. Its dirty & the aides do not respond. I found him in the same dirty clothes 2-3 days many times. He has special needs requiring catheter care. They were just terrible in hygiene causing my husband numerous infections the last one of which sent him to the hospital with serious sepsis which required 5 days in the ICU. The nursing care is very inconsistent & inadequate. Many drug mistakes. The head nurses desire to use drugs for everything (keep them quiet) caused my family to have many confrontations with her. Terrible place. Do not consider it if you love your family member.

I asked other family members to let me know what they think and they liked the place. So we decided to go ahead and place our family in the Draper Rehab and Care centers hands.Well I guess you just cant judge a book by its cover...This place is the worst place ever! The staff took my dads his lazy boy reclining power chair out of the room and had it re-located to the basement because he came up with some skin issues. They put an extra mattress for him to land on because the staff was too slow to come help him out of bed. When my dad woke up for the last time my sister was stopping by to visit and she learned the staff contacted an ambulance to take him to the local hospital. We found out his blood was too thick and he possibly had another stroke. My dad died that evening.:( Thanks Draper Rehab and Care center! If you dont want your family members to be forgotten, dont take them to Draper.

I worked here less than a month -- it was pretty horrible. I had a cold but nonetheless showed up to work. I told the head nurse or whatever her title is; I wasnt not in the best shape and will try to do my best to perform my duties. She seemed nice about it and just told me to wear a face mask and attempt to get help whenever possible. Mind you I NEVER asked to go home - I have the flu and food poisoning at the same time and STILL went to work (somewhere else, not here). Fast forward a couple of days later to a week later to where I couldnt even walk and this cold became very nasty. I tried calling other people to cover my shift and nobody responded. I also told the CNA coordinator that I may not come in because of my conditions but I did come in. They let me leave early and when I went to talk to the CNA coordinator because she wanted to speak to me, she said that this was the second time within a short period of time that I tried to leave work when the first time I never tried to leave work and the second time I couldnt even freaking walk!!! She threatened to write me up over the whole situation. My knee was bent so out of place I couldnt even bend down or anything. I was beyond frustrated with this. I just quit immediately - they are NOT about teamwork. Its every man for themselves except for a few people who are nice enough to help. Dont work for them, you will be miserable. Dont put your loved ones there, it is a horrible place. There is one CNA or NA for 10-15 patients which is ridiculous. I dont mind working the medical field but this is ridiculous. You need to have a more organized system - also its pretty sad that people who work review with 5 stars because it is not 5 star worthy and your opinion is biased.

I ask questions in regards to issues and help for my grandma and shes very short and rudely when answering. Also when I arrived at night with her we noticed her personal belongings were gone through. I have stayed every night up here and I do everything for her and they get so mad about answering a call light every know and then. Also I have medical problems also so when I come up I take medications and I had them put away so I would have them and I came in one night and all my medications were gone and when I asked were they were and who took them I got a short and rude answer staying I couldnt have them up here. I live in Taylorsville and I drive out here every day and night so its hard for me too remember my medication every day. The nurse was rude and wouldnt help find out what happened to them and those medications I had are doctor ordered! Im so disappointed in the care they give my grandmother and her guest. I will never suggest this place to anyone its dirty noisy and poor food and they dont keep track of the food intake these patients eat and they dont offer snacks or other items! My spouse got a job there as a C.N.A; He only worked there one day, due to the fact that the patients there are severely miss treated. They are understaffed because of how the patients are treated, no one wants to work there. Due to the fact that this is second hand information, just really make sure you inspect this rehab. You dont want to put your loved ones in place that is supposed to take care of them, not make them feel like they are in a lock down facility. Also they wont give him back a very expensive stethoscope that he had left at the nurses station when he went on lunch and still has yet to pay him for the time he did work there. I know it only one day, but one day is one day of work. Especially when the nurses will NOT change the patients pull-ups. So sadly a patient will sit there in there own stuff for hours until a C.N.A can get to them.
