Insulting: The Receptionist handed me my first after-insurance balance statement - from an appointment a couple weeks ago. She said I could pay it now because “We don’t want it to go to collections.” Excuse me? Do you plan to send my bill to collections the very minute you notify me of the balance? And why in the WORLD would you say something like that to a brand new patient? And in front of another patient? My balances do NOT go to collections.Here’s another bedside demeanor clue: When I show up exactly on time, and your staff forgets about me in an exam room, don’t walk in 40 minutes later and say, “Where were you? I couldn’t find you, so I saw the next patient.” Arguing with me for 3 minutes about why you couldn’t find me was quite the turn-off. I do appreciate you recognizing my elevated blood pressure due to this unpleasant visit.The only reason I came to a doctor instead of my usual PA is because my wife talked me into it. After this, I think I’ll go back to my PA. With my PA, I get the same exams, diagnoses, & prescriptions, all without being insulted.

We recently moved here from out of state and Im thankful that I chose Dr. Canga as my primary care physician. My first visit with her was one of the best Ive had in many years. I immediately felt very confident knowing that I finally found a doctor that is going to give me the care I need. She is caring, very professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She examined me thoroughly and took time to listen to my concerns. She educated me of my conditions and immediately created the best plan for my care. Also the clinic is very clean, front office and medical staff are all very kind, professional, and efficient. I would highly recommend Dr. Canga and Lone Peak Internal Medicine.

Just want to share my appreciation for Dr. Canga. She is definitely one who pays attention to details, and listens to me as a patient. Her genuine concern about my well being gives me confidence in the care I am receiving. Dr. Canga has gone above and beyond, and even stayed late to ensure my health concerns have been taken care of.
