House of Hearing Draper provided a very friendly environment. Mary Kelly was by far the best and funniest audiologist I have seen in Utah. We were constantly laughing while programming my implant processors. My appointment was also a lot quicker than anywhere else I went. I would definitely recommend this place in Draper and Seeing Mary Kelly.

I lost my hearing in my left ear for anything below 80 decibels at age 29, and thought I wouldnt ever be able to hear from it again. An unfortunate side effect of my hearing loss was tinnitus, constant, high pitched ringing, which was always present. Sometimes Id wake up in the middle of the night because the ringing would be so loud.I came here and was given a few options to help with my hearing issues, and they presented me with a free trial of the Lyric (phonak) hearing aids. This device is awesome, as it is essentially invisible, and it doesnt need to be removed except for once every 3 months when you replace it (this is a subscription based hearing aid).After about a month of having this hearing aid (and getting multiple adjustments to the sound settings, which you do weekly for the first month), my tinnitus is almost entirely gone (I might rarely hear it in an absolutely silent room). My hearing is in no way perfect in my left ear, however, it is a huge quality of life improvement over what I had previously, and I dont feel self conscious about wearing a hearing aid, because it is entirely inside the ear canal and requires no maintenance.100% suggest going to this location and inquiring about the Lyric hearing aid if you have hearing problems.

Kayla and McKenzie conducted my balance test. They were absolutely amazing. I have severe anxiety especially when it comes to motion/movement but these two calmed me down and never made me feel invalidated for my frustration and anxiety. They were gentle and really listened to me. They also explained absolutely everything they were doing, I was never left wondering what was going on or why. I had to do some extensive inner-ear/ balance tests. The tests themselves were awful, (I think everyone that’s endured them would agree) but the lady who assisted with the testing was amazing. She respected my need for details and talked me through every step. She was kind, understanding, accommodating and easy to talk to. She made the tests bearable.

We’ve been seeing Liz Hankins for my son’s hearing loss. She has been great to work with and is really great with my son.

McKenzie and Kayla did my balance test. I was anxious, and some parts of it were unpleasant. They were very nice to distract me with topics of conversation. It made the experience better than it would have been otherwise. I’ll probably have water in my ear for the rest of the day though. Lol.

House of Hearing is the best run hearing center I’ve been to in the ten years I’ve required hearing help. That takes into account several other hearing centers in several different states.My audiologist, Dr Liz Hankins, is incredibly knowledgeable about the variety of hearing aids available. She has extensive knowledge on the human hearing experience and was able to answer all of my questions as I chose a new hearing aid that best met my needs. She also is a intelligent, warm, kind and delightful person, making my hearing appointments even more pleasant.After using a variety of hearing aids over the past decade including BTE, ITE and CIC I chose to go with the Phonak Lyric. It has altered my hearing life,dramatically improving it. While they took a week or so to get used to I no longer have to worry about hearing aid batteries, forgetting to put them in, doing environmental adjustments, taking them out too soon at night or even waking up in the middle of the night with poor hearing. They just work...all the time. I would say the only downsides are some intense sounds can be painful, like a baby’s cry, noisy environments still don’t allow for great speech enhancement but I haven’t found a hearing aid yet that solves the problem completely. Because my Lyrics are replaced every few months I can look forward to ongoing improvements from Phonak,rather than having to live with a hearing aid choice I made several years earlier.They require a visit every few months to be replaced, at no additional cost, but it’s so easy to get in to see Dr Hankins on short notice that it hasn’t been a problem. The Lyric is such a huge improvement over all the hassles of my past hearing aids, a short visit every few months is a small price to pay.I consider the House of Hearing and Dr Hankins a “hearing god send” and the Lyric hearing aid a modern miracle. I can look forward to continued improvements from Phonak and anticipate this prosthetic hearing as only getting better and better.Thank you House of Hearing, Dr Hankins and Phonak!

I had a positive experience at The House of Hearing the other day. The audiologist, Liz Hankins was easy to communicate with. Being dependent on lipreading when communicating with hearing people is more daunting nowadays with everyone wearing facemasks due to covid-19. Luckily, it wasnt an issue with Ms. Hankins, she was using a clear face mask eliminating a potential communication barrier. She also did a great job servicing my hearing aid and got it working as it should.

I was extremely impressed with House of Hearing ! I took my 80-year-old mother to have her hearing tested. She suffers from mild dementia. The employee, Kenzie, who tested my mother was very thorough, helpful and mindful of my mother’s condition. She was able explain my mom‘s test results in a way that we could understand what her hearing loss was and was clear in her recommendations and choices we had. We were given a set of loaner hearing aids to see how much of a difference they would make in my mother day to day life. It was a drastic difference ! It increased my mothers ability to interact with those around her. I highly recommend House of Hearing!

I didnt have a clue what balance testing would be like, and when we got into the room for the first test the fun started. The ladies helping me were so fun and cute that I felt immediately at home and when we played a few games to keep my mind focused we were all laughing. I felt like I had just had a few hours with friends not technicians. This did not feel like a medical visit, everyone was kind and professional and most importantly we also got the job done. If you need a balance test I would recommend this place whole heartedly.

Shelby and Mary were an absolute delight and they made my 2 1/2 hours just fly by. If you have to be spun around in a chair to induce dizziness there’s no one better to inflict it on you than these two.

House of Hearing worked really hard to find me the best product for my sensitive ears. They have convenient locations, so its easy to run over for quick adjustments. Liz was the right expert I needed. She has a pleasant, patient manner which is important to me. All the staff is great and ready to help customers acclimate to wearing hearing devices, and feel confident about it the life change!

When I found out that I needed to have a balance test, I was scared and umsure what was going to happen. When I arrived on the day of my test, the kind staff quickly put me at ease and explained every step thoroughly and clearly so I would understand. Kayla, the wonderful woman who helped me through the process was a delight! She made an uncomfortable process bearable, and not near as bad as I thought it would be. She even made the time fly by.I loved how she talked to me during all of the tests to keep me at ease.If you need a balance test done, do it here! The equipment worked perfectly, the staff is wonderful, and the whole process really isnt as bad as you think it is :-)

I drove for 1 hour and fifteen minutes, each way, to have HoH repair my hearing aids. One works fine but the other on quit working 20 minutes after I left. If it had not been after closing time I would have turned around to go back. I have not been impressed with their products or their service.

I have had two sets of hearing aids, the first from Audibel hearing center and these last ones from the House of Hearing. I paid for the best ones from each company, but buying the most expensive ones doesnt always mean they are the best. The hearing aids from Audibel were awful and for several years I worked with them to get my hearing aids working to my satisfaction; it never happened. I finally decided I had to spend the money to get a pair of hearing aids that worked, before my wife killed me. I got these hearing aids from the House of Hearing and after almost two years, all I can is they are fantastic! Their customer service is great and I am very thankful for everything they have done for me.

Although the testing was difficult, Shelby and Emily made it better by keeping me relaxed and informed about the tests. They were fun to work with

Staff has always been Very prompt, friendly and experienced with testing, with fitting and with calibrating my new hearing aids. Very willing to listen and solve any questions with my phone and Bluetooth. They exceeded my expectations in service and helping me hear so much better.

The staff is great and very helpful, but their hearing aid prices are astronomical. The cheapest pair they could offer me is 4 grand. Thats just insane. Im trialing them now, but I think Im gonna go to Costco in the end. Much cheaper.
