We met with Dr Jackie Nelson to evaluate our son for Autism Spectrum Disorder. She was wonderful! If you are looking to have your child evaluated and diagnosed you are probably feeling like my husband and I were. Before the whole process we little scared and the whole process, it all seemed a little unknown. From the beginning of the first appointment Jackies presence and professionalism put us at ease. Watching her interact with our son was amazing, she was so kind and easy for him to warm up to- which says a lot for our little guy! She explained the diagnosis of our child in ways we could easily understand and gave us a great idea of where we are able to go with therapy and schooling. And when we had questions and concerns she was very empathetic and helped validate the way we were feeling giving us confidence to go forward. While we know this is a long road for our little guy- we feel so confident having Dr. Nelson in our corner. She is very accessible and invested in our sons success. Thank you Dr. Nelson!

I had the privilege of working with Dr. Jackie Nelson. She was kind, sharp, candid, and great to chat with. Even in the first couple of minutes while chatting with her, I knew she was an expert. She help me feel at ease and I would highly recommend her and her company to anyone who is trying to navigate an autism diagnosis. Thanks Dr. Nelson!

This is the only company that I’ve worked for that creates such a positive environment and looks after their employees on a professional and personal level. On top of the wonderful environment, the job is very rewarding. The owners of the company are always there working along with their employees, everyone contributes to a productive and positive environment.

This company is very professional, but still a fun place to work. As a therapist, I directly work with children who have autism. The management really helps you and wants you to become better. So If you’re doing something wrong, they will tell you what they expect and how to do your job more efficiently and correctly. If you don’t do your job the way you’re supposed to after they give you tips or if you don’t come to work or are consistently late, they will let you go. So if you are not responsible and willing to change with constructive criticism in order to improve, you will not be here long. That’s why I love this place. They truly care about the clients and want them to improve with good therapists. It has made me a more professional worker and I have learned many amazing qualities from working here. I have worked here since August 2017 and expect to work here for quite some more time. They have added more benefits every month and all of the therapists are kind and friendly. I have made some friends while I’ve worked here, with both people at my own level as well as supervisors. If you’re hardworking and you love to see improvement with kids, this is the company you need to work for.

The school and center has been a blessing to us, after many struggles in the public school system. We found out about AS last summer and are so thankful we did. Our son is thriving now where he was barely surviving a year ago. Hes interested in learning now and has made huge strides in academics, social interactions and behavior. The therapists are highly trained and care about your child and their progress. The BCBAs are exceptional! I do think communication can continue to improve as the company is growing quickly but any concern I have voiced has been immediately addressed. We are very happy to be at Autism Solutions!

I love this place! Their staff is caring and supportive of my child and my family. The 1:1 ratio has helped him really be able to focus in school, and he is loving learning for the first time. Their office staff is polite, but the really stellar standout is the BCBAs. They understand the kids and their needs, but dont let them stagnate. I have been so impressed every step of the way.

My son has attended Autism Solutions, for almost a year now, for Therapy and school. The staff truly love and care for each and every child, my son has become a completely new person and has grown immensely since starting here. My family lives back east and we were contemplating moving home with my sons diagnosis, but since starting him at Autism Solutions I feel if we left I would never find another Autism place that is as truly amazing as this one. They create individual plans for each child and never set anything in stone, as new needs arise or he starts having issues on the current plan they make changes to accommodate him. Behaviors that the public school made end of the world deals about, are normal every day things to the staff here. They never call me because of behaviors they can’t handle. The owner is very involved and always willing to give you and your child her time, each supervisor no matter their level in the company makes time for every child and knows every child. When you walk in you feel as though your talking to family because you can just feel how much they love and care for your child, and every child there. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the people here, they’ve given my son confidence when he has never had any, and he is 10. He gets mad on the weekends that he can’t go to school because he loves it there so much.

We’ve enjoyed working with Autism Solutions over the past 18 months. My son has loved the therapists and the staff has been great to work with! Especially with making payments.I only gave a 4 star rating due to the poor design of the waiting area to pick up and drop off. It’s a mess. And the parking lot is tiny.

My son started at autism Solutions when he was 3. Our therapist (Alexa) was so AWESOME. I would show up early some days and see her playing tag or going down the slide with him. As a mom it is super hard to just leave your son with some, Especially when he is nonverbal. But I never worry after I drop him off because I knew he would be taken care of. I would highly recommend autism solutions. My son has learned and grown so much in the time he was here.

I contacted autism solutions after I got their # from select health insurance. I asked select health for IN Home ABA therapy for my son. Autism solutions was supposed to be a company that provides in home therapy. After Im at the assessment appointment I find out they do NOT provide in home anymore! So Im stuck paying them for a $400 assessment when I wont be able to get services! So far its been one week and the supervisor has not called me back. So on top of being mislead by them, I am being treated badly! I honestly never thought anyone would conduct a business like this! They should be transparent about what services they provide. They should also let the insurance companies know when they no longer provide a certain service so referrals will be accurate. They havent been doing in home for one year and still havent updated their information packet or let the insurance companies know! Terrible!

I’d give these folks zero stars but before the A. S. centers opened, therapy was much more consistent as well as communication. When I first moved to UT & was searching out ABA agencies in the area after several phone calls there were few that actually would return my phone calls or contact me. The same was true with A.S. although I felt that I should reach out to them again I am glad that I did b/c I was able to get someone to come out to my home and we started services. Previous to moving to UT my son had been doing ABA therapy regularly and consistently 25+30 hrs/week for the past 8 yrs. of his life, so to say it was a big part of our life would be an understatement. My son did not attend the centers as we live in Utah Co. & our situation was unique. I fought tooth and nail with Alpine SD to allow an outside employee to come into the class and work with my son. This we have done for the past 3+ years with A.S. We had some great therapists. However the past few years the communication has been lacking and I don’t feel that they were consistent at all. Weird b/c if I wanted to talk about the schedule I had to go through a administration asst & couldn’t go through the BCBA where before I could (I wouldn’t know this administration person if they walked in the door) Thats awkward as I would have to go through her to ask questions to my BC BA (breakdown in communication which equals most of the time a huge lack there of) We had a great therapist work with him in the school last year and they fired her and didn’t even let her work out a notice. I found out later she didn’t get along w/admin asst. The BCBA textes me that day and let me know that she wouldn’t be working with him tomorrow at the school. If a therapist was sick or couldn’t come in I was out of a therapist no back up which would’ve been helpful. Fast forward to September 17th of this year I get an email after business hours stating that one of the therapist gave her two week notice Saturday and because of that they would be unable to provide services for my son anymore. Just like that. No phone call, telling me in person. I was devastated. They worked with my son a few more sessions but that was it I thought it was so unprofessional that I didn’t at least get a phone call telling me this in person. They felt they needed a “paper trail” I say that’s highly insensitive on their part. I immediately called my insurance trying to find another therapy company. They gave me a few more names and I started researching. I found another company but my insurance said I had to change new co. to be the new provider. The BCBA worked a few more sessions with my son and was to work one more when I get an email stating that I had went behind their back and changed providers on them and they would not be getting compensated for it and also statedI would be “liable” for any additional charges not paid by my insurance. These words were very offensive and callous, they also stated in the email that they were not going to send her for the last session the next day. I might understand this if I had any history of not paying my co-pay with them they have my credit card on file and I paid on time every month there was never an issue about non-payment on my part. This was hurtful to me. To just “dump us” or my boy who needs the consistency. Immediately I called my insurance and explain to them that they were still working a few more sessions and I had only changed providers b/c that’s what the insurance told me to do (they are going to reimburse A.S) Maybe it’s all about the Benjamins? I would say if you were looking to take your child to a center ok check it out (if not be leary) feel free to email me with questions shawnaparker2018@gmailAlso interesting 2 employees gave reviews ( I don’t think they even have kids that go there) good luck and God speed- be your child’s advocate ♥️

The administrative staff does not communicate clearly and efficiently with one another or the client. We have been attempting for a month to get proper authorization from my insurance and every employee I spoke with gave me a different story as to why or what was happening.

Listen, to all wondering parents or staff, I’ve worked at plenty of ABA facilities or in different programs and I could honestly state this will always be a top company! They have a deep care for clients and staff. The communication from the BCBA’s to the RBT’s (or staff) is amazing and un-heard of in other companies. This company teaches its RBT’s (who aren’t perfect) to improve and strive to achieve greater levels of excellence with clients in mind for hopeful progress and successes.

I worked hard to become an RBT, had over five years experience when I started with autism solutions, they still offered the men RBTs more.I also received a pay cut along with a harassing email regarding my pregnancy. I was mistreated and verbally attacked randomly leaving me feeling insecure about my job security. After having my baby I responded to coming back to work in which no one responded back.
