Ive been going to Dr. Ward at Mountain Valley for a few weeks now for chronic neck pain (due poor sleeping positions and lost curvature in my neck). He walked me through my x-rays very thoroughly. Dr. Ward asks me each time I come in how my pain is. He is friendly. And hes super quick with the adjustments which is nice when I need to get back to work. He uses a massage gun on my back and glutes before he starts the adjustment, and recommends the roller bed if I have time. Plus I have at-home exercises I have to do to solve this problem over the long term.Today (in addition to my standard neck issues) I came in with intense shoulder pain that was interfering with my exercise and general comfort. He had me do a series of cross-body motions with my arm while he pushed on my muscle. I left there with considerably less pain in my shoulder and am so grateful.Also, their front desk staff is super nice and understanding. I forgot about an appointment once and rushed over, and they took me anyway. I liked being able to do the intake forms online ahead of time. I also love the appointment reminder texts they send!So happy with Mountain Valley and would gladly recommend them to anyone.

I’ve been going here for about 9 months due to some long term back issues. I mostly see John Olsen and he is fantastic! But I have seen Gannon several times as well. While their techniques differ slightly, they are both incredible chiropractors. My wife has also been coming to this clinic after a car accident injury and they have helped her make tremendous progress in her recovery. I would highly recommend paying them a visit!

For the first time in my life, at age 59 I injured my back exercising with weights. Doctor Olson quickly worked me into his schedule. He did an evaluation, took x-rays, explained what was going on and worked on my back. After the first visit I felt 50 percent better! On the second visit he not only worked on my recent problem but addressed a neck problem that I’ve had since I was 11 years old and some arthritis problems with my upper back. All employees are competent in their official capacities.Lastly, Mountain Valley Wellness offers a variety of different services from chiropractic and massage to medical exercise therapy and genetic testing geared towards customizing diet. There are many other services which would be of benefit- without causing you to “break the bank”. I would highly recommend this service to anyone wanting to improve their overall quality of life, whether physical, mental or emotional. If you’re in doubt, give them a call and try them out!

This is the absolute BEST place to get a massage. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They use educated techniques combined with a variety of helpful tools to cater to fixing problematic stress points. Don’t waste your time or money at any other place. I’ve visited other places and Mountain Valley Wellness is the only place I trust to help reset my muscles and find relief for my nagging trigger points.

I love this practice. The doc is amazing. He’s friendly and funny and can get some serious results. When my husband came after my successful time here, he was able to really dive in and tell him what he needs to do as a dentist to prevent and avoid any pain in his back, neck, and even his hands. His employees are polite, fun to be around and actually communicate and are helpful. He’s got this table for after the appointment that is heaven!!! After having numerous extreme sport accidents and working construction over the years my neck and back were in constant pain and it was very difficult to find a position I could sleep in. After seeing a few chiropractors I felt pretty hopeless about doing sports in the future. I have been seeing chiropractors(here and in other states) regularly since a bad car accident 25 years ago. They were helpful and Id get some relief, but they were all the same. My neck got so bad and the adjustments were so painful, I got to the point I stopped letting them adjust it. I have had a completely different experience with Dr.Olsen. He isnt in the business of rushing his patients out with quick adjustments. He really works on your muscles and spends the time necessary to prepare you for the adjustment. He is the only one Ive allowed to work on my neck for years, and my adjustments arent painful. I have total trust in him and that means a lot to me!

I have been to many, many chiropractors in my life, and Dr. Olsen is hands down the best Ive ever seen. He is thorough and works to solve the cause of the problem rather than simply curing the current symptoms. Dr John is awesome! I had a back problem that dropped me to my knees and laid me up for 2 days. When I was finally able to move John was able to work out the issues and didn’t pressure that I had to come in 4 days a week for the next 10 years. Very professional and knows what he is doing. I felt bad for him being 6’4” and 280lbs but he has no problem adjusting my back. Will recommend them to anyone!!

I can say with the utmost gratitude that Dr. Olsen made the process easy by speeding up my recovery process and having my best interests at all time. He went out of his way to make sure that i was going to be completely taken care of, that i wasnt going to have to suffer through anything else other than what i had already been through. I was in pain, it hurt to move in any direction. I looked like a seal trying to put on shoes... I went in to see Dr Gannon Ward and he took some X-rays of my back and showed me where the problem was and how i could help improve it through some stretches and posture practices. He also made some adjustments which helped a lot! He went above and beyond what i was expecting. He was also very informative and helped me understand what i was looking at. I have always been skeptical of chiropractors (for no real reason) but I met Dr John in a meeting and really liked how he explained things.I had some PF in my right foot from running and decided to try him over going to a doctor and getting shots. I am so happy I did, my hips were off which was what was causing my problem. I only have positive things to say about this office. When I first called to book an appointment with Dr. John Olsen they were extremely helpful on the phone. I asked a lot of questions and felt like I knew what to expect on my first visit. During my first visit I feel like it was a very thorough. Not only did he feel everything to find out what was going on but also did neck and back xrays to find out any other underlying problems. This really sets his practice apart from any other chiropratic experiences Ive had in the past. He came up with a 90 day treatment plan best for me. Dr. Olsen is very professional and knowledgeable, always explaining why your feeling the way you do. In the begining of the appointment his massage therapist works on my neck for about 10 minutes, she does an amazing job and it feels so good. Afterwards Dr. Olsen will begin the adjustment. He gives very gentle adjustments. It never feels like he is forcing anything or using too much pressure. One thing that is very important to me is that he always takes the time he needs with me and I never feel rushed, with all my questions being answered.
