I went to Dr. Tim because I was having problems with my shoulders and lower back. He sent me for back X-ray, found out what the problem was, and I have going to him ever since. That was several months ago. Since then I have experienced no pain. I plan on seeing in every month forever. He and his staff are so personable and make you feel like you are part of their family. Dr. Tim is so knowledgeable and completely knows what you need to get you well. I’m amazed at the number of athletes who go to him. The best I have ever been to.

Dr. Goodwin is the best!!! Ive always felt my legs were uneven and just didnt feel right. Ive been wanting to go to a chiropractor for as long as I can remember so this year I finally decided to take care of myself and do it. I went in and had a consultation and started my journey to my best self! I found out I had some scoliosis and my hips sit uneven. I did not have a good experience with Goodwin Chiropractic! Doctor Tim lied to me about a condition I did not have. After getting an X-ray he told me that I had a slipped disc in my back. He never ordered an MRI! My general doctor told me you can’t see a slipped disc on an X-ray and he ordered an MRI and surprise! There was no slipped disc there either! Doctor Tim got $1,100 out of me and it never really helped. He would do things to me that I told him it hurt. He wouldn’t stop but he would continue. He kept changing his story too! He wasn’t very consistent. When you work with a doctor there should be trust. The first time he popped my back, he laughed after saying he was supposed to get my consent. He didn’t care, and doctors aren’t supposed to be sneaky. It isn’t ethical to lie to a patient, do things they say hurts, and skip getting consent for services that require it. Doctor Tim is now posting his own review on Yelp because he is trying to save face. Maybe he should have thought about being honest when I was his patient. Cathy Morgan gets free massages for every patient she brings him when she isn’t even his patient! It’s better to be truthful with a patient than a liar to keep that patient padding your pockets. Doctor Tim is a smooth talking snake. I hope that people will not just cast this review aside because it’s the truth

Dr. Goodwin and his staff have taken care of myself and many high level athletes for over 10 years. He helped me through serious injury and kept me tuned when I was healthy. I would not have been able to perform at the level I did in MMA at the highest level without him.Even as a retired athlete his office is a staple in my health and wellness routine. I highly recommend him to you, as I have many other who still frequently visit him and are great full I did.

You walk into the office and youre immediately greeted by a subtle citrus scent. The office is clean, but doesnt feel like an office- it feels like a home. It has a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Dr. Goodwin and his wife are genuinely nice people who pull you in and make you feel as if youd been friends for years. Every time I asked Dr. Goodwin a question he always gave me an in depth answer. I felt confident in his abilities and could tell that he knew what he was doing. He and all his staff would call me by name from the very first time I went in. One time I couldnt find a babysitter for my 2 year old, and they said Come on in!. I was reluctant, but one of the sweet office ladies sat and talked/played with my daughter for my entire session so I could focus on getting better. I started coming in December because of an accident and now, about three months later, I feel put back together. Im free to continue with my life, I can pick up my baby again without pain! It can be hard to keep up with appointments, especially if you need to come in a couple times a week, but the end result is worth it! I highly recommend Goodwin Chiropractic to anyone looking to feel better. :)

I have suffered from lower back pain for the past 18 years. It all started shortly after graduating from high school when I bent down to pick up a sock, felt a sharp stinging, biting pain in the middle of my lower back. After a series of MRIs, X-rays, multiple doctor visits the conclusion was made that I had herniated discs in my lower lumbar spine specifically in the L4 L5 and S1 regions. I was sent to a surgeon who immediately said I need to have a spinal fusion (surprise!) immediately and that that was the only way to fix the pain. Being only 17 at the time, (I am 35 now) the idea of serious spinal surgery did not excite me nor my parents. The doctors then told me that if I didnt want to do surgery then my only other option was to try physical therapy. This started what would end up being over a decade of physical therapy trips and while I loved my physical therapist, it didnt really help long term. The pain would subside for a while and then come raging back and become rather debilitating again. There were days that I literally could not get out of bed or take even the smallest step forward.Four years ago, the pain became so cumbersome that I did end up having spinal surgery but it was not a fusion. The surgeon told me that the MRI he was looking at indicated that I was born with a narrow spinal canal restricting the nerves. Now I should probably also tell you at this point that I am severely overweight and I do fully admit that, that has contributed to my back issues but I knew deep inside that something could be done to help me despite my weight. I tell you that at this point because the surgeon warned me that the surgery might not help if I didnt lose weight but he was willing to try anyway, for which I was grateful. So we proceeded with the surgery in which the doctor made the opening to my lower spinal canal wider to provide more room for the nerves to move so that they wouldnt get pinched by the herniated discs. The surgery went well and didnt really have a long recovery process, but the relief it provided was again short lived. the pain was back within a few weeks and at this point I had basically lost all hope of ever being pain free.Fast forward to two years ago when I first met Dr. Goodwin thanks to my fabulous sister. Now, to be honest I didnt believe in chiropractors because for years medical doctors, physical therapists, and others told me it would never work and I believed them because I felt I had literally tried every treatment under the sun and they hadnt worked either. So when my sister told me to try chiropractic lets just say I was more than a little skeptical. However, at her urging, and because I was in so much pain, I figured what have I got to lose by just talking to the guy, right? So I went and thankfully my sister went with me. I dont know what I really expected from that first visit but I do remember getting more than I bargained for. I thought I was going there just to talk to Dr. Goodwin but he ended up doing my first treatment as well. When I first met him I learned that he is quite the charismatic guy. He loves people and he loves to get to know his patients. He asked me to tell him my story, looked over some old MRIs, did a consultation and then explained to me all of my problems and how he was going to fix them.What really impressed me about him was how he seemed to genuinely care about me and actually wanted to help me feel better, and even more than that he was 100% confident that what he does would help me and you know what? it absolutely did! I also loved the fact that he didnt make a big deal about my weight like other doctors in the past had. Now, dont get me wrong, I fully understand that I need to lose weight and Dr. Goodwin has talked to me about it but he makes me feel like a person first, he doesnt just try to blame everything on that like most people do. Dr. Goodwin saved my life, so If you have any pain, give his office a call he can help you. I cant thank him enough for giving me my life back.

Tim Goodwin is simply the best spinal adjuster I have experienced. I had a severe motorcycle crash in 2002 and no other chiropractor has been helpful since the spinal injury. I had the worst experience with a chiropractor in Cottonwood Heights. This doctor was everything that doctor wasnt. Dr. Goodwin healed my pain in a timely manner, didnt try to run up my bill, and made me feel comfortable. Hes also open more than 15 hours a week (unlike that other chiropractor whos barely open long enough to get a 15 minute treatment). Dr. Goodwin spent his time talking to me, finding out the problem, and solving the root cause. His staff was both knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this clinic.

I had never been to a chiropractor before. I threw my back out for a 3rd time during the first trimester of my pregnancy. Was recommended to Goodwin and so happy I went! Now in the third trimester and feeling pretty good thanks to the friendly staff and Dr. Goodwin himself! If you are having back pain even if you are pregnant, you need to visit Goodwin Chiropractic. We were recommended to Dr. Goodwin by Aaron Samson, who is the Masters World Champion in the Long Jump. Imagine the strain on your body long jumping 23+ feet as a 50 yr old! Dr. Goodwin keeps him jumping.My son Tommy, 16, was ready to quit track due to recurring muscle injuries. 4 weeks of treatment later he was able to qualify and run in the state track meet.Ive now visited him for my own hamstring injuries and he and his massage therapists have put me back on track. I went to Dr Goodwin originally because I had tweaked my back. Dr Goodwin fixed that, but I have had lingering issues with my hip after being hit by a car two years ago which had been keeping me from riding my bike. Its the first time Ive been able to ride my bike in over 2 years with almost zero pain. Best Chiropractor experience ever

Wow! All I can say is Dr Goodwin saved my life. After years of back pain I really do myself in golfing couldn’t walk my wife had to come pick me up in the middle of golf course and take me home. She (a medical professional) found Dr G. After about 5 visits he had me golfing again.

Great guy. At 28 my back started to go out and have spasms where I could hardly move for a week. Sitting all day long for my work did it Im sure. I then developed very weak back muscles from always babying the lower back and always laying down, even when I worked on the computer. (I setup my monitor so I could lay down while I worked). This made the discs worse. Goodwin gave me some exercises to do and got me into Mountain biking and now I can sit up, work, be active and start living again. Now Im 33. My back isnt healed but it is much better.Exercise, develop strong legs, lower back muscles and core and see this guy.

I met Tim 8 yrs ago when he was our team Chiropractor. I play womens semi pro tackle football. He has kept me playing the game. There were times, I would come in, the day after a game, with whiplash and whole body soreness, and I would leave feeling a 100% better. My immediate family sees him and several members of my extended family as well. Plus countless teammates have visited him. I have noticed so many athletes enjoy going to him. Not just the young uns....but the reset of us that dont want to stop living life to the fullest. He would shake his head at us.....if he waasnt the same way. Doing fun things athletically.....even afer 40. His techniques and modalities are awesome. And I have seen chiropractors my whole life, wherever I have lived.. Its like seeing the dentist, or getting hearly physicals. One needs to take care of the body.
