Ive been going here for 15 years and will not go anywhere else! I moved away from Downers Grove 10 years ago, and still drive back to Giana to get my hair cut & done. She feels up quickly, so be sure to schedule way in advance. Cannot say enough great things about her!

I just received the most amazing hair cut by Kim. Shes AMAZING! She listens to what style you would like, gives you suggestions, and surpassed what I was hoping for. When Kim was styling my hair, she explained every step and how I could replicate the style at home. Thank you Kim for putting life back in my hair.

I have been going to Ariana for years for my hair! I have been long and short and love to play with color. Whether I bring in a million pictures for ideas for my hair, or just let her have free reign she always does an amazing job. She is extremely personable and accommodating, definitely the reason I keep coming back to Rocco and Rocco. In the years I have been coming to Rocco and Rocco I have only had good things to say about the salon. They are clean and friendly. They seem to be doing a great job with precautions right now with the pandemic. I highly recommend!

I went to Ileen with my horrible haircut I got from New Look Salon in Westmont. (Dont go there for hair) And Ileeen did such an amazing job on my hair. She was so kind and very pleasant to talk too. I normally dont get my hair cut often but she will be my go to from now on. Prices are great! Overall beautiful, professional, organized Salon. I highly recommend.

One bad apple ruins the lot.We were ten minutes late for morning appointment due to accident related road closures.Everyone was nice, except the old lady who cut my hair. She was rude. Period. Will never go there again.

First, let me say, I have had many wonderful experiences at Rocco and Rocco over the years. The people are wonderful and up until now, I have not had a bad haircut or color.This past one was hellacious! Over time I think I have seen just about everyone there except Lisa, who I just saw. She gave me the worst haircut of my adult life. I have curly hair and it was straightened when I went in. She insisted on dry cutting. I asked if that was ok with my curly hair and she said yes. I have not had a dry cut since I was young and didnt have curly hair.. Now when my hair is curly it is beyond huge. The layers are terrible. If I had not previously experienced this salon, I would never under any circumstances go back. I will never see Lisa again. Super disappointing.

Been going to R&R for over a decade. Their prices are fair and I love my stylist. I get compliments on my color everywhere I go. Theyve been handling covid precautions in a comfortable and safe manner as well. Parking can be kind of a pita but thats downtown Downers!

I have been a customer for over 15 years and would recommend Rocco and Rocco (and Ellen) to anyone and everyone. My wife and daughters are customers as is my mom and many friends. We feel part of the R and R family. From the greeting in person or on the phone from Dom, to the graciousness of all the hairstylists and staff, its all top notch. I cant imagine going anywhere else.

Been going to Rocco and Rocco since it opened and have never been disappointed. My personal favorite being Gianna, but the whole team is great and so welcoming, just like Downers Grove!

In my early 60s I was introduced to Rocco & Rocco, Ron in particular on the recommendation of a friend. On my first visit to R&R, I was greeted by lovely employees, and my appointment started on the dot, most importantly, at 63, I got the best hair cut Id gotten in my life. With Rons help, I let my silver-grey hair grow out, and could not be happier. My last cut was March 5, 2020; my hair is just showing signs of needing a good trim. NO ONE CUTS AND STYLES AS WELL AS RON ROCCO. Every member of R&Rs staff is delightful and professional. Dominick Rocco has instituted a great online experience for customers; everything from online sales to appointment reminders; the salon has a firm grip on 21st-century servicing. Rocco & Rocco is invested in the community at large, running toy drives at the holidays, charitable giving throughout the year. Rocco & Rocco service the customer in the chair and the community in which they do business.

My family and I have been going to see Maria since I was a little girl, for as long as I can remember. I recently had my makeup done there and kept having an issue with one of my false eyelashes staying on. Not only did Rocco and Rocco accommodate me coming in twice after the initial makeup session to fix the lash, they took care of it on the house. This salon has built a great reputation over the years and not only holds itself to the highest standards for every client that comes in; theyre also a family run business thats a staple in our Downers Grove community. Cant speak highly enough of them!

Nice and clean place. Most of the staff were friendly. I went in for a blow dry and style. Everything was done super fast. My shampooing was eh and the blow drying was not so good. I have curly hair before I made an appointment I made sure someone knew they were doing because I don’t want my hair to be flat iron. So she just focused on the front and not the rest of my hair which is the most frizziest. Literally just blow it dry not using the brush to make it smooth and straight. Curled it so fast. Looked nice at that moment being finished but right when I got outside my hair turned flat.. paid $46 for something that lasted 3 minutes literally ... very disappointed. I’m a sty home mom and barely have time to get pretty and was excited to get my hair done. My hair was frizzed out and dry in a couple hours.It’s difficult to make my hair last just have to take your time in the process of blow drying.. anyways won’t be going back.

The staff is super friendly and inviting. I’m always greeted by several people when walking in. The salon has a warm and energetic vibe. LOVE the complimentary snacks and drinks. Such a lovely hospitable touch. Savannah has been styling my hair for a fews months now and I couldn’t be happier. She does a fantastic job and always makes my hair look fabulous! I look forward to trying other services offered at this salon!

I sat on hold for over 15 minutes because Lourdes said that her priority was people in the salon not people who have been going to the salon for over 15 years on hold. Then when I asked for a manager, I was told there is none. I love Teresa and Ellyn, my colorist and stylist, but that kind of customer service is not excusable. I have literally hundreds of salons between my home 30 minutes away and Rocco and Rocco. I think its time to try a new one.

I recently had my hair done by Kathy and shes phenomenal. Id actually been going to this salon for years, even long before Rocco & Rocco, way back when it was Hair Performers. I stopped going for budget reasons a few years ago. I realized theres a huge difference between a $47 haircut and a $20 haircut. I kept thinking there was something wrong with my hair, which the texture has changed. Ive always had baby fine hair and its light as fluff now that Im older. Kathy knew exactly how to cut it, by texturizing it, so the ends dont weigh down the style. It falls in place perfectly, has more volume and bounce to it. I love it! I was wearing it up all the time before because I couldnt do a thing with it and Id get so frustrated with it. If youre trimming your budget, stretch haircuts an extra month or two, versus switching to a different salon. She gave me advice on styling products and I found a comparable product in a different brand that works just as well.

I would like to thank your hairdresser Maureen for giving my granddaughter an awful experience at your salon. She should get a personality and learn how to talk to people, especially young girls. And you should learn how to do their hair the way they want it. Will never go back to this salon.

I just had my hair color touched-up at Rocco and Rocco. I had the same touch-up procedure done at Rocco and Rocco in November of 2019. I asked that the same color be used for this January touch-up that was used in December, since it turned out so well. Nicole, was the beautician who I used in November, and she was to have placed the color formula in the computer. Natilia, was the beautician who did my hair in January and she checked the computer and also asked Nicole about the formula as well. As it turned out my hair coloring from the January appointment was not the same as the the November touch-up. The hair color is brassy and dark and there is a noticable line of demarcation between the shades from roots to end. I had none of these problems from the November coloring. Obviously, it was the wrong color. I complained to Natalia and she told me that she could place some foils in my hair to lighten it up. She offered to do this at no cost to me. She also suggested that I speak with Nicole and the owner of the salon. When I spoke with both Nicole and the owner of the salon, they suggested that foils would work, but I would have to pay for them. This is very sad for a client who just spent money on a service that was not correctly done. I feel the formula must have been incorrectly put into the computer, since my hair color was so different after the second touch-up. Natalia tried to be very fair and supportive in offering me a fix for the hair color mistake. As for Nicole and the owner of Rocco and Rocco, to try to make a client pay for the salons mistake is vey poor customer relations, and totally unfair for any client who did not get what they paid for. For this reason, I would not recommend this salon.

Ive been getting my hair done there for years Ive been getting Teresa to do my color and Ellen has been getting my haircut my childrens haircut and every person I dates haircut for as long as I can remember! The pricing is fair and reasonable and the quality is exceptional. You get high and downtown Salon performance without the high-end downtown Salon prices. You couldnt ask for more!

Very pleasant spa atmosphere. They do a nice job on hair although maybe a little more pricey than some other local places. They also offer eyebrow shaping, facials, makeup etc.

I have been going to see Katie S. at Rocco and Rocco for awhile and its always a great experience. You get a shampoo with your haircut and Katie S. is great at talking options out in case you are looking to mix things up.I was going to mens barber shops and went to see Katie S. one time and that was all it took for me to go to Rocco and Rocco.

Great salon, very trendy and happening. Maureen was my stylist and did an awesome job. Convenient hours of operations. Price is the going rate for a salon of that calibur, if not inexpensive [19.00 to 25.00]. Plus was given a $5.00 on my next return and 25.00 off any product if I referred anyone.

Rocco & Rocco is an absolutely solid salon. They strive to make everyone comfortable and their staff is professional. Its pretty loud on a hoppin day, so if you are going for peace and the sound of babbling brooks, this isnt your place. But it is fun, zesty and pleasant. Ive been seeing Ariana for around two years and shes been exceptional. (But you cant have her, because shes mine.) She has a great touch with color- really understands tone. Shes creative and can deliver on just make it BETTER I dont care what you do, and can also follow direction if you are feeling conservative.

Rocco and Rocco is a very very good place all their staff are so sweet and kind and they are so nice I appreciate that all the staff to very nice this place is very awesome 

I was in a rush to get a haircut this last Saturday and noticed that my usual place in the area was closed. While I had a feeling Rocco & Rocco would be backed up they were able to get me in with a hairdresser within 20 minutes.No worries when you do have to wait as the waiting area is well put together with a television, plenty of seating, snacks, water, coffee, and tea.Not even 10 minutes had gone by before my name was called. Overall: fair price on a mens haircut, friendly and outgoing stylist, and most importantly they did a great job on my hair. I have absolutely no complaints and would easily return.I do suggest booking the appointment in advance, at least on the weekend. I suspect that I was extremely lucky on getting in with such a short wait in the middle of a Saturday.

Amazing costumer service and great cut

Maureen is the best. I never spend money on myself because I have 36 medical bills to try to pay every month. I finally drove there after a pneumonia & the illness I have is fatal so I am on a lot medications steroids, pain killers etc. I am 55 & every other stylist I explain I want a blunt cut & to my collar bone. Maureen was the best. My hair I thought would be gray by now but it was a natural blonde so I never would have to dye my hair. Since Ive been ill my hair freaks out & stylist want to mix color & make it such a big deal & then cut it there own way. Maureen did an excellent job of cut & color I was amazed & still am. She is the very best & listens to every detail. The price is expensive on the hair cut though but I will save up!

I showed Kimberley what I wanted specifically (purple ombre hair), and she was really nice and friendly, however, she did not end up doing what I asked for. I just have a purple tint, with full blonde-pink shades underneath and it looks pretty terrible. I called and complained and she claimed that she had told me before hand thats how it would turn out if I didnt bleach my hair, even though I told her I dont mind her bleaching my hair. Well why did I show you what I wanted in that case? And said if I wanted any other services done, I would have to pay. They clearly dont know how to service an unhappy customer who dropped $120 at the salon hoping to walk out with purple hair, ending up with ratchet blonde, pink and purple shades mixed together like a bad jungle juice on hair.

Love Jamie for my color and cut. Havent been disappointed yet.
