Ad to run down my own test results 5 weeks after they were made available by the outside lab because this office repeatedly put me off and failed to follow-up when asked. Dr ignored new developing symptoms, fixated on my eyes and what was going on with them when extreme exhaustion, and neck weakness that made it impossible to hold up my head developed. This office showed no interest in helping me find out what is going on with my body. Im only 44. I cant hold my own head up. They dont care.Follow up 6 mos later - Was forced to give this place a second chance against my better judgement. Dr Jafari is great, but the office is still terrible. I dont know how theyre functioning. The staff follows up on nothing. Blood tests. Paperwork. Setting up follow-up appointments.They dont even return phone calls. It is really unprofessional to tell a patient, If you dont hear from us by next week can you give us a call again? Ive heard this multiple times. It is not my place as a patient to prod the staff to do their jobs. As a person whos dealing with illness on a daily basis, this shows a real lack of compassion. I give up.

Dr Finkleman is kind, attentive and know what chronic migraine sufferers go through because he’s experienced them himself. I’ve never had a neurologist take me so seriously and want to help me live a migraine free life. He does.

Dr. Higginbotham is a great doctor. But getting medication is downright impossible. Often I have to call 2 and 3 times just to get the medication I take every single month. Call too early and the pharmacy wont fill it; call when you need it, and you are going to run out because it takes them so long to call it in. Ridiculous.

My daughter has been with Dr Pinto Lord for 19 years we love her so much we had to track her down when she changed to coastal neurology after losing the letter she sent explaining she was going there. She has saved my daughters life on more than one occasion. My only concern is that one day she will retire and we don’t know who to turn to from that point. I guess she will just have to keep on keeping on.

Wonderful staff, great Doctors! Very detailed information given for testing and results. Appointments are promptly made. Location is convenient. Very happy with this group of Specialists.

I went to Pinto Lord as a child and will be making an appt to be seeing her again soon. My daughter is also going to be going there. Shes seen her once as a newborn and shes amazing!

Although I really love Dr. Usher, and I think he is a great doctor, he has not been able to help me with my chronic headache issues, and finally after 5 years of struggling has sent me off for a second opinion to DHMC. Now I went from being able to drive 5 minutes to see him, to driving 2 hours (and having to take days off of work) to see my new neurologist. Also, I always show up early for my appointments, but end up sitting in the waiting room for up to an hour after my scheduled appointment.

Dr. Pinto-Lord called my child a liar and told her she was fat. She had chronic headaches and was later admitted to a hospital. All Dr. Pinto-Lord said to do was eat better.

Doctor Higginbotham is wonderful, but the staff does not answer the phones and it takes several, not 2, days to get a response . Quite frankly, I have to leave many nasty messages to get a response back. I have worked in the medical field for 12 years. This is the worst experience I have ever witnessed.

I see Dr.Farhad and after 15 long years of being told by other Dr.s I had Fibromyalgia, (which I knew it was something more, but difficult to diagnose. & I was SUPER Frustrated!!!) He found what was going on with me, & worked tirelessly with me for 3yrs & sent me to MGH, or where ever I needed to go to find answers. He is the #1 Dr. Who I trust overseeing my complicated condition. He did Biopsys, unconventional bloodwork, & testing. But most of all LISTENED to me, & didnt put me through repeat testing, as I had been through before.I cant say enough great things about him, he has given me treatment that works & quality of life back!!! He is truly a gem to our local medical community!!!As far as Insurance/ billing, I have learned being sick for so long ask, ask, ask, It is your responsibility to find out what insurance will/wont pay for. I lost a home due to medical bills & went to over 20+ Dr.s who just through tests & pills at me. I have found, not every Dr. Is like that. Dr. Farhad is proof of that!!!!I also see Dr. Usher at this office for CPAP situation, he has been working out for me as well!!!!

My daughter has been a patient of Dr.Pinto-Lord for 16 years. I cant imagine my girl being under the care of anyone else. She worked relentlessly to get her seizures under control, and has been a constant advocate for her when the insurance company would initially only pay for generic meds. Im praying she doesnt retire soon.

Many years ago I had seen Dr.Pinto Lord and she was awesome.Now I have to wait way more than 48 hours to get a prescription called in.They make it difficult to take your medication and now it has been going on 2 months without a refill.Nice seizure prevention protocol.The last time I had to go tjere juat to tell them

Dr pinto-lord refused to treat my autistic son when we were concerned he had epilepsy. When I inquired about his head size being off the chart she said all kids with autism have big heads and that she wasnt going to test for epilepsy just because he has ASD. That was 5 months ago... Now we are waiting for an opening in concord because my son is having seizures in his sleep. She shouldnt be a doctor let alone one that works with kids.
