Absolutely amazing experience! My boyfriend and I went in for pedicures while on vacation in Dover. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They even gave my boyfriend a crash course on skin care! If we come back to Dover in international future we will definitely be making another appointment here!

I paid last year 2020 for my daughters spa birthday celebration. Covid hit the week before her scheduled party and everything was put on hold. Ms. Parris was kind enough to let me keep my deposit on hold and see how things would be this year. Yesterday Mrs. Parris gave my daughter the ULTIMATE SPA BIRTHDAY TREATMENT!! There was some restrictions, and even though I was late (sorry), Mrs. Parrish and her staff still was able to give my daughter her ultimate spa day. Thank you so much for making our day special. My daughter and her invitees are still over the moon. I most definitely will be back. Kudos!!!

I booked last minute and was extremely fortunate to be accommodated by a last minute rescheduled appointment slot. I was truly in need and grateful. The service was first class. I felt pampered and very special. This was the best nail shaping that I’ve ever received on my natural nails. Parris was very attentive to my personal request and I left completely satisfied with my manicure and very sexy French pedicure exactly the way I’d asked! I am new to the area but I’ve been a longtime customer purchasing the MyInnerscents line of Bath Bar soaps, body wash, body powder, body butter, body mist and body oils for almost 20 years while living in New York, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn of the Nail Lounge located in my new state of residence. Before leaving, both my husband and I purchased and placed an order for our all time favorite body care essentials such as the Tahitian, Island Breeze, May Melon, Passion, Honey Butter and Oatmeal & Honey. Such unique blended scents that smell so sensual and leaves our skin super soft and not greasy. Absolutely love my nails, the black french manicure with heart details (my first set) and red and black ambre nails were done by Parris, and the fall enlayed leaves and foil were done by Ms.V, I have continued to get my nails done here since my first visit and Im always impressed with the end results !!! Great vibes, lovely people and the service is top notch!!! Definitely recommend if you havent already been, you wont regret it!

The Owner seem to be a Very Godley WomanHowever, I was charged a Different Price than what I was Told.I got my A Full Gel Set& Pedicure..It came to 92.00 Dollars!I did not even get a glass of water.lol.Luckily, I had the money 💰lol.But what happens if I did not have it..And only took the amount that I thought that I needed!!lol

My friend and I were in need of a relaxing pedicure for some girl time and I was able to schedule an appointment with no problem. Their appointment system is really user friendly. This place is beautiful and friendly but I had an interesting experience here. I went with my friend who got a manicure and her nails were beautiful. I got acrylics and there were beautiful but the process was painful. The woman who worked on them was nice but filed my nails so hard that I started to bleed. Ive had acrylics before but got them done in Philly. These definitely werent my favorite nails but tbh they werent the worst.

I found this place on google and decided to go based on the reviews. I’m glad I did! I was able to walk in and be serviced within 10 minutes of arriving. The staff was so pleasant and the gentleman that performed my pedicure did a great job. My polish was nice and thick; and he did not have to use white as a base coat before applying the color polish. It’s been a full week since my initial visit and my pedicure still looks great!

My mother, sister and I had the best experience here! Loved the wine the decoration and best of all it was positively the best customer experience I’ve ever had. I will most definitely go back. It was relaxing and most enjoyable. The owner Paris was so amazing I’m so happy I met this woman. And her products that she makes and sells are absolutely amazing!

I was in Dover visiting and found this great place. Literally, every person in the nail lounge is excellent at what they do. Parris did my nails beautifully and Gordon is excellent at massage and he polished my toes. My sister and Aunt received services as well. Everyone is talented. It was a wonderful experience. If you are in Dover this is the place to go for your nails.

I visited Parris Nail Lounge today with my granddaughter. Another establishment (not in DE), had put acrylic nails on her. She is too young, they were too long, catching on things and one was starting to come off, causing her pain. She wanted them removed. I do not get acrylics so I didn’t know anything about the process. When I called Parris, the gentleman took the time to ask me questions about her age, because her being under 18, her nails are not fully developed, which affects the removal process. I ended up calling back to make an appointment, and spoke with a lady who also reviewed the process with me. In short, they were very knowledgeable, professional and kind. The salon itself is very clean and pleasantly decorated. Gordon was so kind and courteous in talking with her while he worked on her nails! They really instilled confidence that they were taking proper care of her! She is very happy to have those long fake painful things removed! And the price was less than I expected for the time they spent with us. I highly recommend Parris Nail Lounge!

Ive finally found a nail salon that I love! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and great at their jobs. I like being able to schedule my appointment online. Theres also a massage therapist. It doesnt get much better than this.

Highly recommend. Went for the first time a week ago to get a full set of acrylics. Ms. Parris was very knowledgeable and we discussed what would be best for my nails and what I wanted (stronger nails), she recommended a gel manicure (which was less expensive too). My nails look great a week later, no chipping or fading. The shop is clean and welcoming, making you feel relaxed, like you are hanging out with friends. A great all-around experience. I just booked my first follow-up and will be a return customer.

I recently moved to DE and have been looking for a nail salon to call home and this was the 4th place I tried. I have found my nail salon home. Ms. V did my pedicure and manicure which was amazing and so relaxing, she didnt rush and made me feel so relaxed and my nails/feet look beautiful. The best part for me though was how I was treated as family from Ms. Parris to Ms. V and every worker in the shop as well as other customers. I have not felt so welcomed since I moved to DE.Thank you ladies and I am so looking forward to my next appointment!

My nails are nice. Nothing amazing, but not bad. I went in for a French Manicure on 5/31. I had a 4:30pm appointment, but was not sat at a table for my manicure until 5:14pm (1 minute before I was going to leave).Additionally, when I booked online, it said my appointment should take 35 minutes. I waited for 45 and the manicure itself took 75. 2hrs for a simple manicure.Gordan was nice, but he answered his personal phone twice during the manicure, which is unprofessional, though he did apologize.Their website states that a basic manicure has a four butter moisturizing massage, essential oil steamed towels, cuticle care and polish. I received no hot towel, maybe 1 minute per hand massage with oil, and my cuticles were cut without being softened first.The website says a French Manicure is $20. The sign in-store says $16. The online appointment system said $24. I was charged $23.

They took old acrylic off and managed to savage my messed up nails. Ms. V did a wonderful job! The atmosphere there is wonderful. Relaxing and welcoming. Will be back soon!

Best experience to date with getting my nails done. I actually travel 50 mins. just to go here over any other nail salon closer to me. The Staff, Owner and facility is top notch! I recommend to any and everyone who enjoys hand and foot care.

I had a lovely time at this salon! Coming down for the weekend to visit a college in the area, I had been feeling so burnt out that I decided to book a room and stay in Dover for the weekend. One of my fave things to treat myself to is a mani-pedi, and since I didnt know the area, I searched for a salon with a good rating. Parris Nail Lounge has an excellent rating, and I quickly discovered why when I booked my appointment (same day). The salon was professional from the start, calling me to apologize and ask if they could shift my appointment to a later time to ensure that a nail technician was available. I was greeted warmly by both Parris and V, offered a glass of wine (!), and invited to lounge in a big leather chair and soak my tired feet. Parris and V went out of their way to make me comfortable, even making me a cup of tea and sharing dining recommendations (Parris even wrote them down so that I would remember them!). V was hilarious and simply great at what she does; my nails looked wonderful, and my spirits were much lighter due to the great conversations we had and the care she took in making my experience satisfying. The atmosphere is beautiful as well! Couldnt offer a higher recommendation for this awesome salon. Book your appointment now!

Made two pedicure appointments here for my sister and law and I. We got there right at our appointment time. A walk in came in right before us, and after waiting about 20-30 minutes for our pedicures, we were kinda bummed to realize they took the walk in back before us. I thought that was the whole point of making a reservation?About 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment time, we were taken back to start our pedicures. And they were great! The staff was extremely friend and accommodating. Loved the atmosphere of the salon. Besides the appointment snafu, I was extremely happy with the experience and will probably be back!

I wanted to like this place. First, the visit itself was fine. The technician was a bit slow for my pace - took 2 hours for pedicure and gel manicure. They use different materials than what Im used to, but upon questioning I was told the owner imports her materials. Cost $68 plus $10 tip. Day 2 my nails start chipping. I contacted the salon to inform them and requested my money back only for the manicure as I do not have the opportunity to come get it fixed. Owner assured me she will refund my money. She then proceeds to send me s message that she credited my $15 when the full manicure was $35. The technician took off 3 week gel with no chips from VIP Nails. I do not appreciate being nickled and dimed for services that I am going to have to get re-done. Now I have to take more of my time to get it re-done someplace else and pay full price for a new manicure. Save your money go somewhere else. Cheap materials bad customer service

First and foremost, I would like to thank Parris for taking care of my nails! My nails were in dier need of nail surgery lol. I had multiple broken nails and they were VERY painful! Not only did she fixed my issue but she talked me through it as well! She took her time with me and asked me if I was okay with each step. This nail salon is definitely the gem of Dover! The whole atmosphere was warm and her staff were equally as sweet! I will definitely be coming here again! Thank you!!!!!!!! (The oils were phenomenal)

Parking is tricky but once you get a spot to park everything else is spectacular!Where do I start....Walking in its very inviting. Everyone greeted you. I waited a brief time primarily to fill out paperwork. I was gifted an appointment with Gordon....when I tell you that was the best gift Ive ever received! I promise its worth every single penny and then some! Gordon talked with me to find out where my concerns/discomfort were located. I was experiencing intense pain and had limited range of motion with my left arm/shoulder. He stretched and manipulated every tight muscle for 30 full minutes....it felt shorter. He gave pointers on what to do & a bottled water. Ive been traveling over the last month. Very minimal pain returned to the affected areas. Ive ordered two additional Groupons for return visits. Its worth facingmy Bay Bridge fears to drive over for the massage. Dont take my word for it...book an appt I bet youll be a repeat customer! Thank you Gordon!

The Parris Nail Lounge has a home away from home vibe. The workers are so sweet and the owner is the most kindest person you’ll ever meet. They are also professional when it comes to providing you with what you want. They’ll talk you through everything and let you know what’s going to be done and wether or not you’re okay with it. They care about you! And want you to be satisfied with your experience there and the outcome of your nails. The oils smell SO good and the massages are to die for! I was in town visiting family stationed in Dover and read the reviews about Parris Nails and decided to make an appt, I was impressed with what seemed to be a strict scheduling process, I too had to wait as several others have committed. I had gel on my nails and they had grown out, Gordon, who seems to be a lovely person, did not use any polish remover, I questioned him several times, he used a file and an electric drill/file, I voiced concern, he assured me that there would be no damage. He never used clippers to trim my nails, continued to hand file, I told him that I had requested a gel manicure, never trimmed my cuticles, they do not have a basin to wash your hands, they spritz with water and wipe off. When polishing I questioned their product, he told me that it was much better than the gels that the majority of the salons use (I was already committed and continued service). One of my nails became red from all the filing, and tender to the touch. This was done on March 22nd, today I went to have my nails done in my hometown, they soaked my nails 2xs and still had a difficult time removing the gel used and were surprised at the damage that was caused to my nails, and how thin they were and red from previous service.. I should have stopped immediately when I questioned. Again, Gordon and Owner seem to be great folks, but the service I received was not up to par..

The staff is beyond friendly and inviting,I felt like I knew these women forever. The shop is gorgeous, so to anyone who says differently needs an eye exam. It didnt stink of fumes like every other shop Ive been in and it was very comfortable and relaxing. To top it off you get your own iPad to watch whatever you want to. Now, ladies the only reason I gave you 3 stars,(and Im gonna keep it real with you), is because 1 I got their at 3 and didnt get to leave until after 7. I know i got a lot done, but it shouldnt ever take that long. The 2nd reason is that I showed you a picture the day before to see if your shop was able to do this to the exact. When I left I was unhappy because I did not get what I asked for, and to top it off it was for my wedding, and I didnt wanna all for it to be fixed because I still had so much to do and didnt have time to sit in there any longer. In my eyes it shouldve been done right the first time. I was ok with the design, but if it is for a bride, it should be amazing. I feel so bad for writing that part because mrs.v tried her best, but I just think if you arent able to do it just say it, thats all. Number 3 is because my daughter got her fingers painted along with me getting what I got done. Now this all came to 168 I believe, and my daughters nail color peeled right off the next day, and my nails all chipped off before a week was even up. Im a stay at home mom, so they shouldnt be chipping like that especially if you pay almost 200 dollars.Other then those 3 reasons I loved everything else. Please dont get upset when you read this because I was not downing you, your staff or the shop. I love you guys and the shop. Im just saying there are a couple things that you need to improve thats all.

This was the worst nail experience of my life. My gel manicure took 2 hours 15 min and still looked like a child did my nails. I will never go back there and ill be going else where to get them redone tomorrow!
