My husband and I got a couples massage. The front desk and our therapists were both very kind and friendly, however I wish they did a better job at matching us with therapists. When I made the appointment I made sure to request more light pressure as we just wanted to relax and we both somehow got deep therapists who told us once we were in the room. It didn’t feel like a massage I ever had before, they were doing pressure points the whole time and it just wasn’t worth the trip. Overall I like Massage Envy but this trip was a flop

Pricing is decent if you sign a contract but I dont think the sign up fee was mentioned. They hardly have any openings when I need them and not all of the staff is as welcoming as others. Used them years ago and had no problem. Not sure why the service has gone down hill. Again still a cheap price is you can afford it monthly.

I had an appointment yesterday for a microderm infusion facial. This was my first one at this location but I have had several while living in California and Virginia. I was very disappointed because everywhere else I have been the facial was true to the 60 minute service. My facial yesterday lasted less than 20 minutes. The cost of this service is way too expensive for the time that was given. I dont understand why this location does it for such a shorter time than any other location I have received the same service.

Love my membership but getting appointments can be a little difficult when most techs leave early.

I got a prenatal massage today and It was amazing!!! I was put to sleep twice and forgot where I was for a minute. The massage was so great that I went ahead and did a membership. So ready for next month!!!

So - my husband bought me a prepaid annual membership for Christmas last year. COVID hit and they closed. When reopened i went to a couple of appointments and moved out of state in august 2020. I informed them at that time i was moving. I contacted new location and got voicemail every time and left messages with no return call. Needless to say i lost a lot of “points” well fast forward to the 9th of this mont- I i get a call from andrea that they are trying to process my card and it and is not working( new cc) i explained and told her i am not interested in membership.i used my card to pay for extra services i got. She did not say i am auto enrolled and did not s needed to fill out cancellation form. Received a call today from andrew explaining I needed to fill out cancellation form. - did it and sent back. Got another call that i am a month behind and have to submit a payment- If i dont - I am submitted to collections?? Well massage envy! Do what you must but i wont pay another penny to you! Are you that desperate for money? I have not used services and have been unable to use services since august and have already paid a ton of money for services not provided. Why are we being charged for prepaid services? Why are the staff so rude? Why such shady practice? I think you can do better!!! By the way. We moved on active duty military orders. (SSRA) . Any other military families have an issue with this location? ?

I called once and had a very pleasant conversation about their services and specials.Yesterday I stop in person and guess what same friendly service as I received over the phone.I made an appointment for today for a full body massage and a facial. I have always loved getting a massage but its been more than 10 years since Ive treated myself. I was not disappointed at all. Very relaxed within minutes!Next I had a FACIAL wowowowow Shannon is amazing!! Ive had 1 other probably 20 plus years ago...I didnt really enjoy that one. However Shannon changed that for me today. She explained everything she was doing..what to expect and what each item was supposed to do. She continued to tell me...let her know if there was any issue with any product she was putting on my face.Im impressed with this location and its staff. From the time you walk in until the time you leave..you and everyone else that walks in gets the same great service!!If your looking for these types of services you will NOT be disappointed!

Nice on the inside but frankly it is a little creepy. The crazy music and efforts to be all zen are missed on me. Just rub my back until I feel nothing but peace with the world. They stated the clock on me when I was changing clothes, the lady came in and out a couple times and then stopped massaging 10 minutes before my time is up so I would have time to change again. THEN they want a tip! It is not a bad place, but you can do so much better if you are in search for the best rub to cost ratio.

I was always a big fan of Massage Envy. Used their services in NY, HI, MN. Always high quality and best professionals. But got VERY DISAPPOINTED with this location. One week prior I made a massage and facial appointments and was very excited. BUT the very next day got a call from them that my massage therapist quit the job and I need to reschedule with a different therapist. Time and day was the same just a male therapist instead of female. I totally agreed on that. But in 2 days they called me again saying that that therapist also resigned so only massage appointments are available for the following week. I was not sure about my schedule so had to pospond making an appointment. And guess what the day of my facial they called me again saying that facial person has some personal problems so it is cancelled. I couldnt believe my ears. How rude and unprofessional! If thats the way you treat your first time clients not too many will come back to you!

Massage Envy is great, I go there very often and LOVE IT. I have used Steven so far and he is amazing he can do deep pressure or light and is very professional. I get my facials with Lexi and she is the BEST. The facials just might be my favorite. Since i have been going my skin has never looked so amazing! This place is a 100% Must

Ciji was Amazing. I went there because of my neck & back Injury . My pain in my neck was so excruciating I could barely move my neck . I have been on muscle relaxers and steroids for over a year & a half. I haven’t felt this good since I got hurt in 20018. Thank you Ciji. I recommend any one who is having neck or back pain to go see her for a massage. Like I said earlier she is Amazing!! She was very knowledgeable about what muscles she was targeting . I know I’m going to get some Great sleep tonight. This is the best massage I had ever had .She was very friendly & her hands are like magic. I will definitely be going back . Thank you Angela Grace

Just so everyone knows, you have to fill out a cancellation form or charges continue. When I originally talked to them about it several months ago, I was not told this. Now Im being told I have to pay 2 months back charges to cancel even though the contract ended before that. They can even email it, but wont.

Ive been here twice. Trying to find a decent massage therapist near Rucker. The first woman wasnt terrible; just wish she couldve had more pressure. Went in today for second try with a male massage therapist and it was easily the worst massage Ive ever gotten. Didnt hit pressure points and just rolled over (with forearm) over muscles. Walked away feeling worse than when I went in. Huge disappointment.

I went in today and had probably the worse massage I’ve ever had. Told the lady I wanted to focus on my back and feet and she did arms back legs no feet? She kept digging her elbow in my back and it hurt so bad I know it’s my fault for not saying anything but it was so awkward. Felt like she didn’t really massage my arms or legs and she just kept going back digging her elbow in the balls of my shoulders. My back is literally so sore. The place was nice but I won’t be back. Disappointed. Hopefully I don’t have bruinses tomorrow.

Friendly customer service and once I found the right massage therapists I had a great experience. I loved my facials until I got a new estician & I was disappointed with my results. She was quite unfriendly & then tried to talk me into buying products costing $400 which is way out of my price range. Its embarrassing when you are in front of a room full of people and you say no Ty I dont have the money. Then the person responds well I dont know how long I will have these products so I wouldnt wait too long to get them. Hello I was trying to tell you I cant afford it... . And Im a member... Over all its a nice place & I still would recommend this location but make sure you are weary of who you have service you is all.

I went to a charity auction and had the highest bid on a massage Package that included a 50 minute massage or facial from Massage Envy of Dothan AL. This was in October and had no expiration date. I called the first of January to set up the appointment. After they found the correct account, I made an appointment. A few minutes after I hung up they called back to inform me that the person who was giving me the massage had cancelled her account so the certificate was out of date at the end of year. I explained I won it at a charity event and it had no expiration date. She said there was nothing she could do. I informed her I would never use them and she very rudely said well she was going to work with me but after that she would not but she had already told me there was nothing she could do. Very rude customer service and I will make sure I share with everyone how you treat potential customers

Very calming environment. Staff was very knowledgeable. Jonathan was a please to have and eased any nervousness I had for my first massage by explaining everything thoroughly.

Disappointed. Bought my wife a e-gift card last Christmas day. I know it was late shopping... I suppose quite a few others had the same idea. Because after waiting minutes while charge was processing nothing happened. Multiple attempts were made that day. Bank statement showed it charge posted following day. I called Dothan Massage Envy some time later and they were finally able to confirm. Kudos to them for taking the time to find it in the system. Anyway... 6 months later we call back to make appointment for wife. Girl on phone with my wife was completely unhelpful. She needed confirmation from e-mail for e-gift card. That would have happened if the website wasnt jammed up on Christmas morning. Anyway... if someone at ME wants to look up the record that would be helpful. Otherwise well go somewhere else.

Well kept location. I was there twice while traveling. First massage was pretty terrible but I went again and requested someone different. I was very pleased with the massage.

I thought that this would be a great experience because I love Massage Envy as a whole. This location is the exception. The visit was completely ruined by a receptionist that I interacted with. I believe her name was Vanessa, she was just overall rude and made me feel like a burden just for making an appointment. i wouldnt recommend this location to anyone.

John was awesome. I went there because I had a neck spasm. I could barely move my neck without An excruciating amount of pain and was on muscle relaxers but even those were slow to loosen it 24 hours after my massage with him I was cured. Will definitely go back

4 massage appointments in past 3 months and each experience has been great. Its all about finding the right therapist whatever salon you choose. I only schedule with Carey. She has very strong hands is best on deep tissue. Probaby need someone else if you are in search of a relaxing massage. She is only the 2nd therapist I can recommend in the Wiregrass. On a side note, ME is a good value comparatively especially if you are going to have more than 1 visit per month. 2 visits at Rituals is $170 vs. $110 @ ME.

Had high hopes after reading the reviews but very disaapointed especially with the customer service. Ive been a member for over a year (not at this location) and I wanted to treat my sister with a massage for her birthday. Upon arriving we werent offered water or a seat to fill out newcomer paperwork. My sister inquired about the membership but her masseuse Ashley was very vague about details and clearly her prerogative was getting to the massge. During the session my sister kept sneezing due to sinus infection and was apologizing. Ashleys immediate response was its not ruining my massage this is your massage. You could tell by her tone she was annoyed when my sister asked about what she was feeling. Ashley told her she needed to hydrate and was very short in her explanations but took advantage pushing down harder than necessary to demonstrate what a knot was. Basically trying to shut my sister up. When we were done we werent offered the breakdown of our specific areas worked on and recommendations for follow ups or the massues name with schedule. When we were waiting to be checked out we werent offered water or to have a seat while the clerk figured out an error. While checking out we werent asked how our session went or if wed like to schedule a follow up appointment. Very very very disappointed. I guess my home location spoiled me or set me up for disappointment since this location couldnt even offer a simple cup of water. I told my sister not to bother becoming a member through this location and wait till the Army moves them hopefully that location has the expected customer service.
