I was recommended by Dr. Samuelson of Southern Orthopedics and now I know why. It has been a pleasant surprise. Most of the staff, all the nurses at every location and Dr. Alford himself all have been friendly, helpful, accommodating, and of course exceedingly successful at the job of fixing my foot which was a very challenging surgery. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I came here having problems with my knee following a car wreck. I came to get it looked at and the doctor just laughed at me and told me to stop worrying. So I continue to work as normal and 7 months later my knee is in agonizing pain to the point I can no longer walk. I go back to the doctor and it’s still like they don’t believe me. I was given an arthroscopic knee surgery which should only take 1-3 months. It’s a year later and I’m still not better. I don’t even know why I am in pain bc they have never told me. One day someone there had the tool they use to look at babies inside the mother and we found a tear in my knee but nothing ever came of it. I’m pretty sure that tear has gone untreated and my life has gone downhill. If only they would’ve taken my pain seriously the first day.

My doctor is Lauren Collander and I recently had surgery on my legs in October of 2020. I have been going back for follow ups since then and I have not been improving at all. Today as I went for a follow up she rushed talked me, didn’t listen to none of my pain concerns, made it seem like I was coming for pain medication when in all reality I’m just concerned on why my legs aren’t improving at all. She also told me my bones were looking great but never seemed to understand the fact that I am still in unbearable pain. I do not recommend this doctors office at all. They do not care!

I have always been totally satisfied with my experiences at Southern Bone & Joint. Also, I feel I had the best drs and most qualified personnel.

I love Dr. Haley - I would give him 5 stars any day of the week. Went to see another doctor with a different problem and was not happy with the service. When the nurse came from the back we asked her why they were taking everyone else and not us and she said we dont show that youve arrived - go ask the front desk. Turns out person who registered me never did tell the folks in the back that I was there. Then we kept checking with the front desk and they said the phone in the back was busy. Come on! Somebody go in the back and let them know Im here! It was super frustrating. Need a better front office system.

Thank goodness I finally questioned and realized something was wrong & went for a 2nd opinion after going to sb&j for tenosynovitis for 7 months. I also Had been going to p/t for 4 wks and just was not improving. Im thankful that 1 of my daughters told me about Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze. I started my 2 wk search of who was the best for wrist & hand. These are the specialist!! Athletes come from all over the world to go Andrews. I can definitely understand why. I was in pain for so long and not getting better, wasting time & money going to sb& j. Never again will I or a family member go back there.

Refusal of service, lazy appointments, and demanding irrelevant papers that other orthopedics called unnecessary.

Last thing I want to deal with while being in excruciating pain is wait 40 min on hold to not even be able to talk to a doctor and having the receptionist flat out say “we’re not doctors”.What a joke.

I have been a patient for sometime now. I have jumped through hoops during this so called pandemic. I have been trying to re-schedule an appoinment for 2 weeks & yet no one has answered the phone. You get put on hold & sit.I have left more messages than I can repeat & no one calls. Up until this point, I have had no issue will this outfit but I have requested my Dr. to find me another center.

Ive got Major league leg injuries from my knees to my feet and I wouldnt trust any of these doctors Ive already tried twice in 2 years several different times theyre unethical and they sure the hell cant even send out a fax to another doctor its taking a month I dont have the patience for them and I do not like their bedside manner none of them are worth a flip to me I would move out of this town just not to have to use them and thats practically what Ive done found another doctor and said peace out just cuz I dont have health insurance you want to send me to the wound clinic and chop my stuff off I think not theres better care out there and all I can tell you is trust your gut

I love Dr. Werner. He is very kind and takes the time to listen to me to hear what Ive got to say that has been bothering me. The other staff has also been very kind so far.

I have several reasons for this review. I should not have to wait hrs after my appointment time to see the doctor. Some of the staff is just flat out rude. You can hear them talking crap about you in the hall way. I am active duty and needed surgery. They do not work well with the military. Had I known what a nightmare this would be I would have gone somewhere else. My doctor was rude and refused to work with me. When the doctor wrote my release forms, he lied in them as far as what I was able to actually physical do at that point in time. This clinic is just very unprofessional.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I changed insurances in January and saw Dr. Moore was still in network, so I was relieved. when scheduling a follow-up appointment, they asked if it would be okay to see his PA, Courtney. I asked if it was okay with my insurance, and they said it was. Well, low and behold, I then get a bill for WAY more than i should have paid because if you see the PA, it is considered out of network! I then called to ask if they could bill it under Dr. Moore, but because he didnt actually see me, even though Courtney has to consult with him for any decisions, they would not change the filing. when i talked to someone there in the insurance department, they were so rude and told me it is ultimately up to the patient to know their insurance plan. Is it crazy of me to think that their insurance specialist should know something about the insurance plans too?!?! You guys, this has place has great doctors but horrible front staffing and insurance specialists. I am so disappointed and will be posting this review to as many places as I can!

Where do I begin? This facility is dreadful. The staff and physicians at Southern Bone and Joint are miserable to deal with. Going there is a complete time suck; they are certain to keep you in a private room for over an hour past your appointment time. Then, if you question them on their time management, theyll inform you that the Dr is very busy and you can make another appointment if you cant wait ! Oh, so I can waste 2-3 hours on another day because your precious surgeon is so important? Thanks, Ill pass.

February 26,2013 I had a knee scope, simple right? NOT! Although the surgery itself went well I had a reaction to anesthesia that made me go into respiratory failure. If it wasnt for the professional staff at DSS and Dr.Hall I may not be here today.I remember waking up and first person I saw was Dr. Hall, I had no idea what had happened all I wanted to do was go home. Then I realized as he started telling me what happened that I wasnt in the same place I started I was now in ICU. Kinda scary to think I went for a simple procedure and it could have been the end. It was comforting to know I had a Dr. that cared enough to stick around until I woke up.I read some of these comments you know and alot of them really arent directly related to your Dr. We arent going to get along with everyone everywhere we go. Lord knows Ive had my few. But in the end is this rating really about how long you waited? Because some things in life are worth the wait.Is it really about who might have snapped at you in the office although yes unprofessional, maybe something tragic happened to them the night before, we all have our moments.For me a rating isnt always about the worst thing that happened but about the most important!How was your surgery?

My leg is broken in 3 places but all they seen was a liability. I was in a car accident in California and had to come back home when I was released from the rehabilitation hospital I was in to build my strength back up. Well my fracture was left open and every doctor who seen my records here denied me... Here it is almost a year after my accident and my leg is getting worse. Are there no decent human beings anymore? Why in my home state can I not get the medical attention I need!?!

Broke my wrist a year ago. Its still swollen and hurting. Dr says everything is fine even though my fingers are numb and wrist is visibly out of alignment. Every visit consists of paying my deductible, an x-ray, a five minute Dr visit where he tells me everything is fine, followed by another bill for services not covered by insurance.

Dont come here go to Houston clinic in columbus. This place is way overpriced and you wait forever here. I know everyone waits at the doctors but I sat 3 hours before I saw my doctor. Came in at 8 saw the doctor at 11. The staff was also very rude during the whole experience.

Ridiculous, particularly Dr. Simpson.Dr. Simpson apparently thinks that one is able to discern a disc issue by x-ray, which any medical personnel worth their salt knows is not true, you need an MRI to adequately determine that, and that was the goal of the appointment- to get an MRI. He rushed, was condescending, and spent half of the 10 minutes with his hand on the doorknob about to end the visit. Beyond unprofessional to the point of rolling his eyes.Receptionists are nice, nurse hung up on me when I tried to get an appointment with a different doctor.

Dr Moore and his staff were kind, courteous, and helpful. Dr Moore did trauma surgery on me, and saved my foot. Id give ten stars if I could!

Its always pretty quick & easy for me & having a patient portal is the best way to go cuz you can do the online check & have all your information filled out which makes for less time with paperwork.Well a little over a month Im back & a different doctor produces different results.With Dr. Pflunger everything went smooth, easy, & quick.Today however a different doctor, I have been sitting in this back room for over an hour & it wasnt that busy when I got back here!Maybe hes saving the best for last. Ive had time to take a nap.Which I am ready to go home to do!

I needed help with tendons.all I got was an x-ray that he said could only see bone.and of course didnt find the reason I cant bend my finger...duh. No broken bones. Duh...I was injured a year ago..omg. A retarded two year old could have done a better job

Dr Robinson and his PA Ken are great at what they do and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I agree with the comments regarding the waiting time and the comments about how long it takes to reach a person via phone, but I cannot say enough about Dr. Warner and his easy solution to fix the pain in my feet. I had been to another doctor who suggested a major surgery but Dr. Warner suggested orthotics and they certainly have helped. Thank you doctor!

Absolutely fantastic. Staff was friendly and helpful and always answered my questions whether in person or on the phone.On my first visit, I actually got to see and speak with Dr. Guin, who later performed a total hip replacement on me. I definitely didnt get that after repeated visits to Southern Orthopedics in Panama City. Moments after he walked in, he noticed that one leg was a bit shorter from the bad hip. He looked at the xrays and quickly agreed that surgery was in order.Surgery went great. I felt incredible the very next day. Dr. Guins bedside manner was friendly and professional. Its been three weeks since my surgery, and I have to force myself not to overdo it, because I feel so great.I highly recommend Southern Bone & Joint. I was impressed with every aspect of it and fully intend to go back for future surgeries.

Dr Werner was awesome and showed me exactly where my foot was fractured at. Very pleasant and explanatory. My only complaint was with the woman who put my cast on my foot. She put it on but didnt make sure it was above the fracture. I pointed It out to her and she said, Well thats hiw the Dr wanted it put on. But I will go ask him. She walked out of my room and cake back a few minutes later saying we were free to go. I couldnt believe it. But i heard Dr Werner in a room with another patient and figures I would try this cast. I also heard the cast lady say some things out in the hallway about me that really upset me. She had just walked out of my room and secs later I heard her say (really loudly) Its just a small fracture. Really! My mom heard it to and she was coming back to the room from taking my son to the restroom. We both was upset. I chose to shut my mouth. Making a scene wasnt the right thing to do. She doesnt know that I have been walking around for 4 weeks with it broken. I walked in a aircast boot. I was trying to treat it at home not realizing it was broke. I will be talking to someone about this on my next appt. This was SO UNPROFESSIONAL. if you chise to talk about a patient... Do it behind closed doors. Dont do it in the hallway. My room door was left wide open by the very woman who was talking about my just a fracture.

Expect at least a 2.5 hours wait. People in serious pain in back cant sit up that long. Wow this is crazy.

Totally awesome experience from the receptionist to Dr. Guin. I was treated like a person and each person I spoke to treated me with concern, courtesy and professionalism. I feel so much better knowing exactly what steps to get on the mend to healing. Appropriate exercises, understanding of the injuries, pain management, correct stabilization of my injure as well as the being able to walk without crutches.I was only upset because I had been dealing with the totally Rude and unprofessional Enterprise Branch for the last 6 days. Only to end up having to find a different place to be seen because the Dr there needed to get off early today. Also, none of the information I gave to the rude young lady in Enterprise was not updated in the Dothan Branch upon my arrival.I did have to wait quite a while to get to the back and then for the Dr to come in the room. However, when it was my time with the Dr Guin he took his time, listened to everything, not to mention he did not rush me out of the room; he answered everything.AWESOME is what he is, along with his nursing staff.I deal with Drs on a monthly basis due to an Immune System issue I suffer from. Dr. Guin and this office of SB&J did nothing but satisfy what I had been spending almost a week trying to get done.(In the past I was seen in the Dothan Branch as well as our Daughter. My Daughter was seen by Dr Werner.)Again, nothin but success, happiness, understanding, appropriate equipment, knowledge, understanding of things I can do to heal faster, as well as his request to see me in 3 weeks for check up with the understanding that this injury was severe and could possibly take up to 12 weeks or more to totally heal.Again, super impressed from start to finish!HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Unless you have nothing but time to kill go somewhere else. Never been here that it wasnt an hour wait.

My neighbor is disabled and poor and in excruciating pain. She is on Medicaid but this office will not see her because she cannot pay a $150.00 copay for the office visit. Im sure Medicaid pays almost the entire fee for surgery. How greedy can you be? Shame, shame.

They are the worst absolute place you can go to .Do yourself a favor and go to another Doctor .Where they care about you. The receptionist are terrible .The receptionist are the most important part or your medical practice . the receptionist are rude and need to go .They messed up my appointment made me wait an hour to see another Doctor Who did my injections wrong .
