Took a little while to be seen, but worth it. The neurologist (Dr. Mellicko) was very helpful and didn’t leave any question unanswered. He’s extremely intelligent and it’s very evident that he loves his job! I would highly recommend him.

Dr McManus is the best doctor here. Ive been seeing him for years. He listens to you and hes caring.

I waited an astronomical time before I was brought back to see Dr. Khan, almost an hour.However, he treated me as a new patient with respect and reviewing my entire history, family medical history, as well as my medical records with me. The time he took to understand what was troubling me and engaged me as a person, not just a patient, plus made me another appointment within 1 week. He explained what he wanted to explore, and told me his LAST RESORT is always surgery, which I appreciate.I will refer him to anyone who needs a neurologist. Charity, his nurse/assistant, was pleasant, and present the whole time. They are a GREAT team! I look forward to obtaining my treatment from Dr. Khan, but will attempt to schedule the FIRST appointment of the day in the future.

Best place to get a PCR covid-19 test. Its a quick drive up process that takes less than 30 minutes every single time Ive went. The staff is always courteous and professional. Ive had nothing but good experiences here.

Ill give it a 2. They arent worth much more. Continue to let you schedule appointments and waste you time and Gas to get there only to tell you they cant help you even though you have an injured foot/ankle (they do xrays but because I was out of visits basically told me theres nothing they can do.) Half their staff is rude or dont care about their long time patients mental or physical health. The Drs I see are great everyone else sucks. Let me also add that I called on Saturday after I left their office asking to speak with a manager supervisor whoever. They came back on the phone said ok you can come inside. I let them know I had already left and was not turning around to come back. They then transfer me to the voicemail and I never received a call back. They honestly dont care if you potentially broke your foot and cant afford the $25 they want you to pay once Medicaid no longer covers you because you reached your 14 visits. Save yourself the time pain sickness and heartache of going to this horrible office.

Gave a 2 star on yelp but downgraded here on Google since still waiting 60 minutes + on an appointment with specialist. Although did get teased by providing a urine sample and now get to wait for a triage. Triage for an appointment to a BH dr? Hmmmm. How does that work?Challenging to get an appointment. The linewas never answered. Had to use the callcenter who was also surprised that thenumber was not answered (indicator #1).Call center was able to get me anappointment next day (she was great).Standard get there 15 minutes prior to fillout additional paperwork. Checked in atkiosk. Did not get paperwork until myappointment time (indicator 2). Went backup to window 15 minutes past myappointment time to ask what was going onReply was the we need to get you into thecomputer first. So 15 minutes the officecould not get me in to computer (phonenever rang. Two people checked in after me.Aka not busy). Now I sit 45 minutes after myappointment wondering how I would havebeen treated if I were 45 minutes late to myappointment? . Of course, if I leave they willstill charge my insurance company since Ichecked in. Insurance company is one that isgovernment contracted so its not greatdealing with them either. Got to love it.cant win for loosing.

Id recommend this place to anybody. The psychiatry department is great. Theres an Indian man that I saw there who is really kind and smart. Not sure what his name is but he went to Yale and really knows his stuff. I went to these folks during a manic episode (have bipolar 1) and they changed my meds and got me out of it fast. Anyhow, great people, they really listen to you and help.

This place is a joke and I have a few more choice words I’d like to add, but I will refrain. I arrived at this location before 11:00AM it is now 12:52PM. I’ve taken all the correct steps necessary to receive Covid testing and yet there has been numerous others pull in and out, receive the help that they needed and there well on there way.Disappointment does not even scratch the surface to the rage that I am feeling. I have spoke to numerous staff member who were out doing the testing. I have spoke to someone in the office three times.

Worst medical care ever. The doctor did not wash your hands when she came into the room nor did she do an ear exam on my son. There were no strep tests available in the office..This was a 4 hour wait for nothing.Save your money and time .

Very sick on Sunday, all urgent care facilities were booked solid by 10am. Called and made appt. Walk in clinic made me appt for friday. Called back to confirm my insurance was accepted. Said yes. Went in, filled out all paperwork etc, gave ID and Ins card upon sign in. After filling out all the forms, was told my insurance wasnt accepted. United Healthcare.

Its a great place doctor for almond st every thing and in house pharmacy

My Girlfriend Skylar went here this last week and has been getting her Ambien prescription filled there since 2009 to help with her insomnia and was told she would not be getting her prescription due to thier not being any ambien in her system(her ambien had ran out 4 days prior(obviously not in her system) and had been unable to make her appointment earlier due to work). She was seen by an FNP that refused to let her be seen by a Dr.. Her primary has now told her to contact CMS. Very unprofessional.

Well if you have to wait 3hrs after your appt time to be seen that’s pretty bad in my opinion, nice drs just terribly slow they sit and talk for hrs, n in my opinion it shouldn’t be that much long I came in at 9:15am didn’t leave til after 2pm AFTER, I’m surprised people like em as they do they are too patient it’s pathetic in my eyes I never dealt with this anywhere else not 5 freaking hrs

Friendly, understanding staff. If you want to get well, you can do it here. You have to want it though. There is no magic bullet when it comes to psychiatry and recovery. If you DO want it, there IS hope. If youre heart is not really into it, youre chances of success are very minimal. Either way, they WILL try to help you. Thank you Alabama Clinics.

Terrible... even with an appointment I have waited 4 hours in that lobby. Doctor on both sides speak to you not even 5 min when you do see them. I was a patient 4 years to long...I just didnt want to keep changing doctors but at this point for my peace of mind and well being, I had to. Dr Michael doesnt need to be in psychiatry helping patients with mental illness. This profession requires empathy and patience. He has no understanding of the disease from our one on ones. His attitude is not calm or nice. Never has he listen to me...just his perception of what he believes. I literally had a panic attack and he laughed. What kind of person laughs at another suffering, seeking help ,already in distress ? I have been wanting to write this review for awhile now. I ended up in the ER after leaving my job for severe panic attack... ended up finding a great doctor who understands and has helped.

I waited outside for over an hour and a half for a covid test..that I never received while everyone else around me was tested and moved on...i finally just left.. Not at all happy with the clinics operational functions...

This place is full of Quacks and unprofessionals. The receptionists need courses in professionalism and courtesy. To be an unisured patient at this time regardless of how long since I was last in the office doesnt give you the right to take my money for an unrenderd service. Im disputing my refund and am determined to get it back. I much rather go through my banking institution than deal with you. The state needs to shut this place down.

Only doctor office Ive ever been to, I left my home at 8:45 am this morning and got home at 4:30 pm. I was at that doctors office All day long!

Waited over 3 1/2 hours after my scheduled appointment to see a doctor. If you come here plan to spend the day. Front desk staff was rude when I inquired about the delay. Don’t come here. They have no regard for your time. Already an hour and a half past my appointment time in February. Last time was not a fluke.

Scam artists. Not a real doctors office. Was told they could handle the problem I was dealing with and then they just ended up trying to push Suboxone on me. Complete waste of 300 dollars. Considering taking legal action against these scam artists.

Went and got tested for COVID-19

This place is a joke!! They put you on medications you dont need, you have no symptoms of what the medication is for! The Drs doesnt evaluate you like they should, they basically walk in the room, turn around and walk out!! I had a appointment with the cardiologist in which this place sent a referral, well I had to have emergency surgery and missed my cardiology appointment, Alabama clinics were suppose to send another referral and never did! Im having trouble with my heart, and these people could care less!!

I cannot speak for any of the other doctors besides Dr Kahn and his nurses but as for my experience with them...five stars and more! Dr. Kahn is revolutionary in that he is the ONLY doctor in the south that can perform some of the procedures that he does for his patients, I being one of them. The onsite pharmacy is always stocked and has very convenient hours. If you are in need of any Neurology services, this is a great place to start. They also have an on-site Covid rapid testing drive through service with a new app that is technologically impressive. *****!!!!!

Today was my 1st and last time coming to this place. What a disaster. Came for my nose bothering me and the doc never checked my nose. Just guessed and left. They draw blood for no reason. I came for 3 different reasons and not only i wasted 2 hours but i didnt even get checked out. Never going back

They put ya business out.&I tried to get my medical recordThey denied me.Saying that I was told that I can report them to the medical board.

I will not be seen here again! Not a clean office, long wait, uncoordinated care, rude nurse, doctor change without notice, and the list goes on. One day I waited over an hour without being acknowledged so I left...got a call 2 1/2 hours later that they were ready for me to come to the back to a treatment room now (3.5 hour wait). Another day I arrived to see a taller Dr. Khan who I was scheduled with and had seen before only to find that there are 2 doctors here by the name Dr Farouk Khan and they had scheduled me with the other shorter one without notifying me, meaning I was a new patient again! That visit the nurse insisted someone else must have written the notes that she herself wrote illegibly and she was rude when I pointed out that she was the nurse who did my intake and she couldnt pronounce any of the medications that I was taking. The office and rooms are tidy but not clean in appearance and when I showed up for a procedure the doctor said he was doing a facial nerve release but the paperwork said something different and when I described it to my pain management doctor he said theres no way that what he did because the facial nerves are located in the front of the head not the back, which is where the shots he gave me were. He also didnt allow time for the anaesthetic to kick in before picking large needles in the back of my head. I will never be back to this place!!!

This place is awful in some aspects and good in others. Great for an emergency urgent care type visit, but if you have anything more serious than run of the mill health issues, this is not where you want to get health care at. They have a neurologist, psychiatrist, pharmacy, and primary care doctor all under one roof. The neurologist and pharmacy are absolutely AMAZING. I love them! BUT, Dr. Quintanna (primary care) is just an awful doctor. He runs a patient mill, and does not take the time to actually resolve his patients issues. Just throws some medications at you, and then tells you to come back next month. For patients with Medicaid, you get 14 visits a year.....he will have you come back month after month, never really getting your issues handled fully. Now, for things like colds/flu/strep throat, hell get you in and out, with the antibiotics and meds you need to get better. No complaints with that. But out of the 4 years Ive dealt with them, he is just awful. They do have some new Indian doctors there, who I REALLY like, and who seem to actually care about treating the people they see. But overall, I wouldnt recommend them for primary care. Also, INCREDIBLY long wait times to be seen.Edited to add: They do Covid testing there, and the results are in by the next day. Treatment is minimal yet standard, it seems (steroids and antibiotics). Two of my sons were tested and subsequently treated there for covid.

Horrible. I went to Alabama Clinics for a cough that I have had for two months. Dr Roberts asked if I had had a COVID test. I replied yes I had one here back in July and have had this cough since and it was negative. He told me he couldnt find the records from my test. So he never tells me anything that I might possibly have, he just prescribed ninjacof. So I go to their on site pharmacy and the pharmacist tells me I can get this medication over the counter. I go ask the lady at the desk why I would be prescribed something that I can buy at the store for a cough that I have had for 2months. I have been on OTC meds since I had this cough! So I get my meds and get home and realize the pharmacist gave me something completely different (benzonatate). My cough got worse that night. I called back the next day and lady at the front desk tells me I was supposed to get robitussin to take with this! NO ONE TOLD ME THIS! Again why was I given something I can buy at the store!? I sent a message on their website expecting a phone call and heard nothing. I called again. The lady said it would be handled. I never got a call back so I called back. Lady told me Dr Roberts office in ozark was supposed to call me so I called them. They told me I would have to make another appointment. I have already wasted $65 so I refused. They told me they would get my records and call me back. AGAIN I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING FROM THEM. That was 6 days ago. Completely incompetent. Waste of time and money

This is the worst clinic I have ever been to in my entire life. I sat for 3 hours for my first visit and today for my FINAL visit. I couldnt take anymore and just walked out. All they want to do is eat your insurance up. The staff stands around and just wastes time like its nothing. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I plan to file a medical grievance!

I had an appt today and found out their was no Dr in but I needed my medication. They were super great about allowing me to have a Telecall with Dr Meghani and he took care of me!! Thank you to the staff for going out of their way to help me!! I really appreciate it!!

Very caring staff through the whole process! My treatments started on a Saturday and my life changed on that Saturday ! For me, this 100% relieved my depression. I may need maintenance here and there over the years but for now, I’m going to live again, thanks to this program

I have never liked going here in the first place. I’ll admit I lost my mind when the receptionist told me just to fill out paperwork 150.00 visit not including we haven’t made it to the back to see what labs are being done and that will cost extra. My insurance co pay was going to be 52.00 I ain’t never paid that, and whatever the dr said I would have to pay that extra as well. I told her this place is over priced, she proceeds to tell me well if I don’t like it I can go to er. I’m a cancer patient that is all I need to be around sick people to catch this virus. All I needed was a shot for allergies because mine is flared up and I can’t hold my head up. I would rather suffer than ever walk in this place again . Your receptionist is rude and disrespectful. This is not a clean facility as our healthcare are suppose to helping social distance. Their was none their people on in the lobby waiting to be seen. I’ll wait to see my dr tomorrow.

Regardless of what people said their office is NOT dirty. The carpets in back get sandy from people coming in without wiping their feet. These doctors r kind and concerned as are their staff. They will not put up with people out for a fix but if u truly need psychiatric care or primary care ALABAMA CLINICS is a great place to go. Absolutely the worst place you can go for a neurologist. My son has tried to get his records release to go somewhere else and they wont release them. You will sit for at least 3 hours every visit. Doctors are there just for a paycheck. Dr Valle was their best dr and now he is gone.

I had a great experience at Alabama Clinics. Donna, one of the girls in the office was great. She was more than helpful with all of my questions and concerns. The nurse was very nice and the doctor too. Thank you Donna and all the staff at Alabama Clinic.

Worst experiences ever with this clinic. I highly recommend that none wastes their time nor money here. All they care about is money and not the patients. I am having to go without medicine that they prescribed me bc none of their half a$$ doctors are doing anything about it except putting their hand out for MORE money. Well we came in the building and it looked clean. But then my daughter started walking and crawling all over the place and now my daughters feet and knees and hands r all black from their floors. They don’t clean the floors regularly. That’s how kids can get sick

I am a new patient, I been going to Alabama Clinics for about four months and my over all experience has been awesome from day one. Easy to make and change your appointments , the place is clean, very nice waiting or sitting area. The staff has been very friendly in person and over the phone and Dr. McManus is great. He is a no BS Doctor, he tells you what is expected from you and gets down to business to deal with your medical issue. Every time Ive been there Dr. McManus ask me how Im doing and how my medication is working for me. His never been rude to me or rushed me out. As far as my waiting time on a appointment when I arrive, its been a very good one. There has been times when Ive arrived a hour early for my appointment and I was seen with in 15-20 minutes after arriving. So I must say Alabama Clinics has been great so far and I would highly recommend this place. So thank you to the staff and to my Doctor for showing your professionalism.

The nurses and receptionists are understanding and helpful in my opinion. You have to show respect to get respect. Thats in everything in life. :). The doctors seem to be knowledgeable and help cure my colds. I usually do have to go back twice because arithromison doesnt cure my colds at all and I always tell the doctor that.

Dr. Mohammad was amazing! This was my first visit!! He actually broke anxiety down to me and actually listened to every concern. The great thing is he didn’t just throw meds at me, as soon as I walked in!!! He genuinely treated me as if I was his only patient & did not rush my visit at all!!!!

It seem everytime I go for an appointment I end up waiting three hours to be seen.

This place has so many bad reviews. They just dole out medication like its candy & half the time they put you on medication for something you havent even been diagnosed with, but then dont prescribe you the medication for the symptoms you do have. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I agree with most people that clinic does not show respect to you IF YOU ARE THERE JUST to seek pills. you will be kicked out in no time. I dont have the best record myself but i was warned once very firmly to either straighten my med using habits or i will be kicked out. OMG, I have never been treated so rudely in my life, and I normally get along with everyone. You can literally feel the tension in the air. I been going there for years, and it didnt used to be so bad. They took $415 and I got nothing from the Dr. cause he a prick and I walked out and they still gonna charge me. I will not be back.

I had been going to this place for many years for psychiatry ( even after the Greatest Doctors left) , then I came upon McManus. At first he was a good doctor then the demon came out. I was accused of taking or secretly given a drug I never heard of I was so upset and he basically laughed at me and became angry with me saying anyone can cry when they get caught....BOOM there goes my anxiety medicine. The next visit there was no medication in my system at all ( of course not I only take about 15 blood pressure, heart, cholesterol, medications including my bipolar and insomnia medicine) BOOM...he grins again and says dont shoot the messenger. I already have trust issues so who do you trust when you cant trust your doctor. I was in a very dark place 2 days ago contemplating suicide but guess what I couldnt call this place because I was afraid of what would come next!!! Thank God I have a Christian family...but what do I do next time???😥😥

Free Covid 19 screening

I have been going here for a few months. My experience with the providers has been excellent. Today, however I was pretty frustrated with the office staff. The physician wrote me the wrong version (instant release vs extended release) of a medication. Its a fairly easy problem to rectify. I was put on hold the first time, then someone picked up and said I hadnt been in since 2014 and I would need to come in again. Then they hung up. I moved here in July of 2018, so they hadnt even found the right patient. I called in again and tried to explain the situation, and was told they would pull my chart. I was on hold for 35 minutes. I figured I might have gotten lost in the calls. Not a big deal. So I hung up and called again, then was told to wait and they would find my chart. Another 35 minutes. So this whole process is nearing 2 hours on the phone. Whoever I spoke to last got on the line and said they couldnt find the chart and that they would call me back as soon as they found the chart. When I went to tell them that it was a message that could they could pass on and resolve the situation, she hung up on me before I got the chance to talk.Things happen in clinics, charts get lost, people get placed on hold and forgotten. Im pretty mellow about the whole thing. But there was a level of professionalism that I think was lacking in this encounter. I want to continue to be a patient at Alabama Clinics because Ive had a great experience with both Dr. McManus and Dr. Meghani. But this rubbed me wrong and I think that it is something that could have been fixed with a bit more professional courtesy and communication from the office staff.

I absolutely love the nursing staff and my neurologist Dr. Kahn.... But my now ex primary care physician Quintana and now ex psychiatrist McManus leave something to be desired. Quintana barely says a word to you and is only in the room with you for a total of 10 seconds and supposedly know exactly whats going on without asking basically. Ive seen McManus in person one time since I came to Alabama Clinics, the rest of the time he let his practitioners do his job and I kept telling them my medicine Depokote was not working at all. They still kept me on it.

I am from Tampa, and I have been in Dothan for about a week and I felt a need for some primary care because of the changed weather. I stumbled upon Alabama Clinics and wow, I was pleasantly surprised. I have to give these guys a shout out, because of their excellent service and politeness and the best health care. There were no wait times. I got consultations with the best doctors and I was prescribed the right medicine. I hope no one needs to go to medical center, but if you have to then Alabama Clinics in the place!

Wonderful staff, especially the neurology team. Dr. Valle, Dr. Kahn, Mohammed and Don truly care about their patients and leave no stone unturned to get to an answer. Just be sure to leave plenty of time for your appointment because they spend a lot of time focusing on each individual and may run late because of it.

Dr.Khan, Dr.Muhammad, and the entire staff at Alabama Clinics saved my life. I experienced a brain injury. With their help, I was able to have a speedy recovery and return to work! Thank God for them!!!!

I have had the most freaking absolute worst experience at this doctors office from the very first visit.They treat you like freaking trash and as you can see by the rates and reviews!! I am seven months pregnant and they refused to see me because I did not have $390 after they told me on the phone my visit was $190.00. Plus my first visit there the doctor hurt my feeling so bad that i cried.. its not right to treat people that way!! I will not ever go back to that dr.office. God was good .. I walked out of that Dr Office and got a appointment the same day with another doctor that treated me very good!!

If I could give a 0 I would. I went to this clinic for a regular followup appt to find out they now do an EKG for the medication Im taking. So they do one and say go sit in waiting area. I do, then when they call me back....whoever the man was that saw me, he wasnt a Dr...never see the same person...told me Id had a heart attack and wouldnt write RX because of it. Told me to find a cardiologist. So I did just that, Heart South reviewed my EKG and told me it was perfectly NORMAL!!! The lead was placed wrong!!! What incompetent people! I went over a week thinking Ive had a heart attack for no reason!!! Thats just crazy!! Never again! Ive read the other reviews here and everyone is pretty dead on, the staff is so rude.
