Our family was very disappointed with the services rendered for my sister. When they came to pick my sisters body up, which was late at night, her son tried to make sure they had her dentures for burial. He was told to hold on to them because they would lose them and to bring them to the funeral home the next day. When we arrived and he tried to give them the dentures, he was told they had already embalmed and could not use the dentures. He was so heartbroken, as were we all. When they had no dentures present, they should not have taken for granted that she had none. They should have contacted her son. I could not even stand and enjoy our last moments with her because she looked nothing like herself. All of our family has added heartache because everyone cries because she did not look like our sister. We come from a family of ten kids. You add that to all the grandkids, great grandkids, etc. and you have a lot of unhappy people that will not use these facilities. How could you possibly make a body look nothing like the individual that live in it? Very heartbreaking.

My brother was laid to rest next to our maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, paternal great and great great grandparents, several cousins and aunts and uncles. I enjoy going to this cemetery and have never felt a negative presence there. It is clean and the lawn is manicured by the facilities staff.

I will start off by saying that the crew that works the funerals are all great and they go above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly. Now as far as the employees that are inside the funeral home are very nice and respectful for most part. My problem is that one of the female employees and I do not remember her name but from what my husband says is that she is the office administrator. She is perhaps a little to friendly but only with men. My husband and myself attended a relatives funeral service on Friday January 8, 2021 and as everyone was standing around talking my husband went to ask a question for some help because we were going to purchase some spaces here. So he came back after a few minutes and said he would not be buying spaces from their until they got rid of the women at the front who told him that she would be more than happy to help him with anything he needs especially if it does not have anything to do with funeral business. He then told her he was married and just wanted to know about the plots and she said well marriage doesnt matter to me I promise I will not tell your wife anything. I did not want to cause any big drama while at my families funeral as I was already grieving. I really hope that the manager does something about this woman because it is very unprofessional not to mention the way that she was dressed it should never be alright to wear skirts that short unless you work somewhere less professional. I hope this post helps any other married woman who does not want her husband to be hit on at a funeral then do not go here.

I visited Ward Wilson Funeral Home a few weeks ago and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. First, the funeral home is beautiful, well maintained and very modern. Second, the staff is caring, kind and considerate and very happy to explain and answer your questions. Third, they provide funeral services that fit your needs and personality. They are the best around!

First of all the man and woman they had to get my grandfathers dead body couldn’t handle the weight and my Uncle had to step in and help carry his own father to the gurney. Secondly, The hearse driver was too fast.. maybe he was trying to keep up with the state trooper but they should be in sync with one another for a funeral.. Also, the casket was so heavy and they told us 4 men would be enough without bothering to tell us how much the casket weighed. The facility is nice and the people were kind. The preacher had a nice story but we expected a lot more consideration and organization from a funeral home as Ward Wilson.
