No fee, 14-day limit. Nice open campsites along edge of reservoir. Plenty of room for big rigs. Some sites with picnic pavilions and grills with outdoor fire pits. No trouble parking our 40 fifth wheel. Good stopover after a long drive. Watch where you step, as campground shared by many geese. Pit toilets are well taken care of. No electricity or dump station, hand pumped well water centrally located.

14 day free camping, mostly dry, some (maybe 1) with water and sewer. Vault toilets, covered picnic area with fire ring, excellent phone coverage (5bars) I think this place fills up fast during camping season.

Great free place to camp! We camped here in June 2021 with our campervan!

I had fantastic overnight stay here with mind blowing scenic surroundings. I was literally able to do star gazing here. Right off the Freeway/Highway ramp. Fellow campers at campground were respectful to each other in terms of noise/light control at nightly hours. I would definitely recommend for both campers, car or RVing.

Lovely campground, the views are great , the breeze coming off the reservoir keeps bugs to a minimum. Best of all camping is free, and dumping tanks is easy across the way in the RV Park for $10. Even though it is right next to I 15 it is reasonably quiet and highway traffic is hardly heard.

This was a neat little place. Kids said it reminded them of the ocean because there were spots more like a beach. I was impressed with the bathrooms Very Clean and NO nasty smells 😉

Beautiful, free campground just off the highway. Fire rings, bathrooms, and some spots have covered areas. Great place to stop for a night.

Came across this campground while on the way to stay at the Walmart in Butte. Glad we stayed here instead. Liked it so much that we stayed two more nights on our trip back home. Since were in a 5th wheel were self contained. Not having electricity didnt matter as the afternoon breeze kept the inside of the RV cool.

Clean restrooms right off the highway. A God send for little travelers. Easy access pulling a trailer.

Ive been stopping here for a night or two for the past 8 years during my spring and fall migration. Every stop has been wonderful until yesterday when a grouchy old man with rotting green teeth entered my camp without permission and said my dog was not allowed to swim in the lake. He didnt identify himself, but did have a faded Bureau decal on the door of his red car, but the car did not look official. I have no idea if he was legit, but he certainly was not professional, or welcoming. I told him to go away and call law enforcement if he thought my dog swimming in the lake was illegal.

It sucked. We ended up not staying there as they wouldnt answer their phone or email after many attempts. Suggest they hire someone to manage the office. Wouldnt recommend it. Mike

Great campground to stay overnight while driving the 15. No hookups, but it’s free. Beats paying $45 for a site at the local rv park just for a stopover. Nice level sites, beautiful views, and hardly any neighbors. Easy on and off ramps for the 15.

Nothing beats camping with family! And the distance to the lake was nice. Unfortunately we went at a time of crazy algae bloom, so we had to pretty much stay clear of the water. The bathrooms were pretty clean. Camp host and a few neighbors were grumpy! 😠
